Pros: Continental buffet breakfast was included. Only £5 to upgrade to a full English breakfast. Earl Grey tea available . Staff were very friendly and helpful. As we were on the ground floor we had access to an external door right by the car park which was great as we were visiting friends and going to a wedding so coming and going quite late at night. Sea view from the hotel. Supermarket nearby, I assume it's fairly close to Sunderland city centre although we didn't go there.
Cons: 10.00 checkout on a Sunday following a late night and breakfast only available 8.30 to 9.30 is a bit early for us.

The moment water tap is opened or toilet flush is pressed or while bathing, the water pump starts, making huge noise, which is very disturbing for individual and when you are staying with family or friends, the other one outside the toilet hears the huge noise and the sleep is disturbed completely. Cons: When we checked in at 2pm as stated was given the key card and made our way to the room and when we got in there the room was not ready so phoned reception and had to go back down to get an other room, we went to the next room and it was facing the motorway and the sound of traffic was quite loud so phoned reception again and was asked to go back and collect yet an other key card for an other room, the final room was not a family room it had a king size bed so I have to sleep in it with my 15 year old son... as for value for money I’m very disappointed with my stay

Pros: Really clean, fantastic premium apprtment.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Convenient location opposite the Winter Gardens and Mowbray Park. Quiet and self contained property with a good fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine.
Cons: I would have preferred more availabililty of staff whose office hours are not weekend or late night friendly. Key collection is dependent upon a taxi company out of hours, which is uncomfortable, especially when having to wait outside the apartments looking very conspicuous as tourists.
6.0 Good
Pros: Liked having the flexibility of the kitchen.
Cons: The pigeons that made their home on the window sills - They were very noisy. Our reservation had been "overlooked" and the office was not prepared for us to show up and check in. Even though the apartment had been "cleaned" since the last occupant(s), there was still a dirty tea cup on the coffee table and a dirty towel left in the bathroom. Also, there were the left over check-in packages from several previous guests on the sideboard in the entry.
