Come and enjoy the beauty of Somerset for that relaxing break. Wick House is a charming old family house in a picturesque West Somerset village. Situated in an area of outstanding beauty, Stogumber nestles between the Quantock and Brendon Hills on the edge of Exmoor National Park. A warm welcome awaits you from your hosts Sheila and Philip. We offer a friendly, informal atmosphere and a high standard of accommodation. Children of all ages are welcome. All our bedrooms are en suite, with television and tea/coffee making facilities. Disabled accommodation is also available with wheelchair access from car park to bedroom (please see our Access statement ). A full English breakfast, cooked in the Aga, is served in the dining room overlooking the delightful cottage garden. All food is home cooked by Sheila, using fresh local produce wherever possible. A welcoming tray of tea with home baked cakes is served in the lounge or the garden on your arrival. Guests are welcome to use the comfortable sitting room where you will find games, plenty of books, maps and local information to browse through. There is also a smaller lounge at the back of the house. Access Statement for Wick House The entrance from the road has one shallow step (100mm) up and two (50mm) down onto the verandah.
