The staff was very friendly and efficient

you didnt have a business center so I could work outside the room as I didnt have a Laptop with me . No free wifi to send a receive mails in my phone.This two things are a must in European five stars hotels and are always free.

Parking was an exta $30

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here againl.

Housekeeping skipped us the first day. When we requested fresh towels they brought them but didn't take away the dirty ones. A minor issue for sure.

I made my reservation at 11:59pm. I selected a same evening check in. When i ARRIVED to the hotel, I was told that my check in was not until 3pm. Was shocked- hotel was sold out! Called the next day, explained my error & issue- was explained the non-refund policy, even after your kind attendant put me on hold to ask a manager. Big disappointment. Wasted $130.00! Not happy & not certain i will use your service again unless this could be gracefully addressed. At least a partial refund would've been a kind gesture!

The rooms.are nice

The tv did not have service. When we came to check in, they did not have any rooms that we paid for. The bathroom was making some noises so we couldnt sleep. I was really upset that they didnt have any rooms that we had paid for.

High rates

We loved the hotel, the staff was amazing. They were attentive and helpful. The only thing is that the hotel charges an over night parking fee that we were not aware of. The overnight parking is $38.

Every night we had to ask for pool towels because they never stocked enough. The front desk receptionist bordered on rude when I asked for more towels.

Parking was $42/night. The lot a block away was $15 per 24 hour period, so I parked a little ways away.

The location was great and easy to find. Close to a lot of bars and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and kind.

Absolutely terrible. We paid for a skyline suite. The room shared, SHARED windows with the pool area. Three feet from the king bed were massive windows from the pool area. People knocking on the windows, clean-up crew spraying a hose on the windows at 3am. Tons of foot traffic right outside of our room next to the pool. Upon check-in, we were not told there would be an event at the pool from 4pm until 3am!!! Bad move Palomar staff. Bad move. Never stay here again. Absolutely disappointing and ridiculous. Too bad. We have had positive experiences at the Palomar in Phoenix. Not San Diego.

I liked the big mirror in bathroom and a the bed was comfortable.

I didn't like that there was pee in the toilet on arrival. That there is no door for the shower. valet parking only. The salt restaurant in the hotel has the slowest service.

Location for 4th of July could not have been better. The restaurant staff was amazing. Food wasn't amazing, but it was good. Little on the pricey side, at least the breakfast buffet was. Cleaning staff was also amazing.

Desk staff was not amazing. Issues that I had, that they caused, they didn't know what to do to help or maybe just chose not to help. Totally frustrated with them.

Beautiful clean fun hotel. Rooms are slightly dated but very comfortable. Staff courteous and friendly. Great location near Little Italy and Gaslamp.

For the price, this place is great! Beautiful views from our room on the 26th floor. You won't find views like that anywhere close to this price range.

A few minor cracks in the walls in the bathroom. Room kids gives off a slightly outdated vibe. Walls are quite thin. We could hear our Neighbors talking all evening. $29 a night for self parking. $35 for valet.

The lobby and check-in area were simple, but nicely designed. There was a large handpainted calendar behind the concierge desk showing which music acts were performing over the course of the month. It was informative and artistic. The lobby was clean, modern, and inviting as was the attached Deck 12 restaurant and bar. The front desk person was friendly. Since we were there on a Saturday night, leaving Sunday, we were able to take advantage of ample street parking for free.

Our room was located directly across from the elevators. Very loud when sitting in a chair in the living room space of the suite. The room was reasonably spacious, but it had not been updated in quite some time. When we entered for the first time, we were overwhelmed with an almost toxic level of chlorine funmes. (Obviously I am being overly dramatic as i don't think we were in any danger.) The bathroom felt very small and tight despite being a good size. There was a tub and seperate shower, but even my wife could not take a showewr without hitting her elbow trying to maneuver in the stall. It was that small. In fact, I hadto open the shower door in order to move my arms when drying off. When asking the guy at the concierge desk for breakfast spots, he was not very knowledgeable. Turned out he was actually the bellman and the concierge was busy. Would have been good for him to start off with that info. There was no gift shop where one could buy snacks or water. Our only option was to use the vending machines and if you wanted drinks, you had to go several floors up to find a machine that sold them.

I liked that it was located in the center of the Gas lamp district. I loved the views. Food was good. Fast room service. Friendly staff.

The beds are little to firm for my liking.

Just a quick over night stay, but clean & quiet. Looked lovely, would have like to try the places to eat there & surrounding area.
