The location was not bad, but everything else a disaster.
I don't even know where to start. I'm in my late 40ies and have travelled a lot in my life - but this hotel room was among the worst ones ever. I got room number 6 (luckily booked it for 1 night only), which is on the ground floor. It's a tiny, dark, wet "cave". It has a large window, however, since a restaurant is around 3 meters right opposite with restaurant guests staring at you and your bed, you have to keep the curtains closed all the time, unless you're an exhibitionist who likes to flaunt what nature blessed you with. In the morning, after a rainy night, the carpet in front of the bathroom was soaking wet because the rainwater from the terrasse had apparently flown in. By the way: the bathroom door couldn't be fully opened as the bed was in the way: that's how tiny this room was. When leaving the hotel, I asked to get my money back. Staff at the desk handed me the hotel manager's business card and I had to complain per email, which I did. I had to repeatedly write them, but got only 1 meaningless response ("We're always trying to offer best quality and regret that...") and then I was ghosted. Then I called the booking customer service and they contacted the hotel, with the hotel ultimately committing to refund my money within 48 hours (I had paid 163 EUR for 1 night). Needless to say that I didn't receive any money back. By the way, but compared to their rooms this is a minor complaint: they offer no breakfast. I asked them why, and their answer was: "No, we just don't serve breakfast at the moment". In summary: I have no idea where they got their 3 stars from - based on the room they offered me, they should have their license revoked and be closed for good.
