Grand Hotel Gozo

The outdoor swimming pool is amazing. Large with fantastic views. Our balcony view was also terrific.

It was a bit tired. The bath plug leaked, the shower was old, the sun shade in the balcony was nearing its end.

NOTHING, it was horrible

1. Upon booking we have requested a baby cot for our 1 year old and a late check out for Saturday. The late check out was never ever responded to, same with the baby cot, yet I left several messages. Finally on our way already to the hotel I managed to get hold of someone via a landline(of course I had to call several times and nobody answered) and managed to get confirmation we have a cot. 2. Upon arrival to the room we have shockingly noticed this has nothing to do with the advertised rooms. It was a dirty very old room that might have been nice at the beginning of the 80s but not in 2025 especially not for the price we paid! 3. The terrace was dirty, so dirty if I touched the fence I barley couldn’t wash off with soap the black dirt. The table was literally with a muddy dry dirt that was never ever cleaned. Mind you we travelled with a 1 year old baby! This was even raised at the reception they sent housekeeping to clean again, however after 3 days the terrace looked exactly the same, I have pictures to support. My partner had to wipe off the fence in order for our daughter to be able to stay outside. 4. For the first night we booked a buffet for 2 people , suppose the lady at check in was”taking care” of it, however upon arrival the waiting staff got surprised they were absolutely not expecting us , we had to wait in the middle of the restaurant 10 embracing minutes for a table while the place was jammed paced and people couldn’t even move properly because of us. After the bad start we ordered a still and sparkling water, however no lemon was served with it. I asked for a few slices of lemon and we got a plate of sliced oranges…we had another incident with the same water during breakfast the next day…! The food was alright during dinner however there wasn’t enough staff anywhere from the chefs to the waiting staff therefore everything took ages when it came to the service. 5. Breakfast…your “fabulous “ breakfast , that was only made of the simplest and cheape

Very old hotel with very old bathroom facilities. No response to our complaints. Very rude staff. You need to pay them for a smile or a good morning. Very bad Wi-Fi. Disastrous parking facilities.
