It was a boat that was a hotel!
The bar options. But it was understandable that they were limited due to the fact that it was a boat.
Breakfast was really good.
Mediocre
The ferry will drop you off very near Amstel Botel, so if you walked all around the city, it will not be tiring to get to your hotel.
The room was very basic and smelled like urine. It was not a pleasant stay at all. The front desk is not much help either.
Unique living experience
The boat is in a really cool wharf area. There's some really cool bars and restaurant just outisde. If you don't plan to stay inside, the boat is ideal for travelers on a budget.
Pretty straight forward, you're staying on an old cruise boat. Nothing fancy but a room and a shower.
Great location. Quiet area with easy access to the center of the city. I would definitely stay here again. Very cool Hotel-Boat...Botel :)
The last ferry from Central Station leaves at 23:45 and the first one leaves to Central Station at 07:00. But there was a free shuttle 5-7 min to/from the 24 hour shuttle. Had 2 single beds that could not be moved together.
Shuttle service from the ferry after midnight.
The internet was so slow, I couldn't post videos (they always timed out) and single pictures could take 15-30 minutes.
Featuring views of the river, Botel offers 3-star accommodation in Amsterdam. It also provides a rooftop terrace, free Wi-Fi and 24-hour room service.

The hotel's in-house restaurant is an ideal option for guests wishing to dine in. In the evening, those staying at the property can relax with a beverage in the bar.
Dam Square, Theater Bellevue and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol are around a 30-minute car ride from Botel. Amsterdam Centraal Railway Station is within walking distance.
