Very noisy doesn’t state building work would start at 8 am
Noise and room was average unlike previous stay I don’t normally complain but was not worth money this time
Centrally located, close to Amsterdam Central station and walking distance from almost everything.
Nothing to complain about
Everyone was very friendly and Curtios the position was great
Everyone was very harkoful and we loved our stay hope to come back the bed was fabulous Excellent 10/10
Nothing to complain about
wonderful staff, excellent location
I love this stylish, super conveniently located hotel. It is literally walking distance to the main train station, tram stops, and Hop on/Hop off bus and boat meeting places and most of the canal tours. The hotel itself is lovely, with great rooms, service, staff.
The construction zone presented some logistical challenges. Hopefully, it will be over soon and the hotel will be just outstanding.
Location very central Good breakfast
Small room, tiny bathroom Room unclean, dirty carpet: when we first came into the room, there was a bit of paper on the floor. It was not hidden or difficult to get. I left it there on purpose and it stayed there for three days. It was finally removed (vacuumed?)
Location, location, location!
Perfect spot from which to explore downtown Amsterdam!
Great location, price, Executive Room was fantasti
The front desk staff was excellent. The hotel was a pleasant surprise. I was thrilled to stay in a room that was large, clean and very comfortable. Loved the robe, slippers and balcony with view of Amsterdam Centraal! The location was perfect. Hotel is historic so parts of it are older but for the location and price I paid I would absolutely stay here again. Also I ordered a pizza from room service and was amazed. It may have been the best pizza I have ever had!
The location was very convenient and accessible and the staff was very accommodating. Our room was not ready when we arrived nor was it ready when they told us to return. The management responded with an upgrade at a reasonable rate and free drinks at the bar. The rest of the staff was also great. We enjoyed a bottle of wine in our room & the bartender opened our bottle without corkage fees, gave us crystal glasses to drink out of & even gave us some snacks to enjoy, all on the house! Overall a very great experience; we would consider staying there again!
The front desk and housekeeping seemed understaffed. There always seemed to be a very long line to check in/out & ask questions. Rooms were not ready when promised although it ended up working in our favor as we received an upgrade & free drinks at the bar.
location facilities/pool/sauna great staff
Airco or ventilation was a bit loud, but it wasn't a problem. Soaps and shampoo were in the wc, but no toothpaste. I'd rather have toothpaste than hand cream.
The hotel was well located near the central station and around the corner from the main shopping streets.
They charge extra for the use of the steamroom. €10.50 per person is outrageous when you have already spent alot to stay in a Hotel that is only average for the money it costs.
localisation in the city and cleanliness of room
Great staff, ideal location, room clean and well equipped.
the only thing i liked is the reception they are very friendly and helpful
the room 302 is bad , the closet is very very small for a double room and the bathroom very small which makes you uncomfertable , and i had to leave the hotel after 6 nights instead 9 nights
It was a very comfortable hotel in a great location. It was very easy to reach from the station/airport as well as being able to walk to many places of interest. The trams were nearby as were the canal trips. It was great value for money and I highly recommend it.
Location, size of rooms,
First room I had was below ground level. I'll never take rooms 134 - 138 again.
Excellent Hotel, very good standards, helpful staff, no complaints, will definately stay there again.
Good Bedroom Size and comfort, good position, good breakfast, friendly staff and Dinner in the Hotel Restaurant was excellent
staff was for the most part very friendly and helpful.
ratio of working channels to extremley overpriced "pay per view" channels was way off. same goes for outrageously expensive wireless internet. for the price of the room, which was actually quite small, i felt like they were just being plain greedy.
