Overview
Set at the foot of Mount Toubkal, this resort offers a terrace with panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. On-site spa facilities include a traditional hammam (Turkish bath) and massages with essential oils. The suites combine a Moroccan and Berber style. With air conditioning in each one, they also have a private balcony and a seating area. On the terrace or in the dining room, a continental breakfast is provided every morning. The guests can also sample Moroccan teas in the lounge or try traditional cuisine with local influences in the restaurant. Cooking lessons, trekking days and transfers to Marrakesh-Menara Airport can be organised at reception. Pros (+) Upgraded to king with balcony. Above the town so great views and very quiet. Food was Moroccan and very well prepared. Assisted to get a hiking guide with a picnic lunch.
Cons (-) You should call 20 minutes before you get to Imlil so the hotel can send down a donkey for luggage. It is a 15 minute walk uphill to get to the hotel. The price you pay for the views.
