Pros (+) Fantastic location for exploring Barcelona. Easy walking distance of major Metro line, and great bars & restaurants along La Rambla. Modern, clean, helpful friendly staff.
Cons (-) Motor to power the lift in the hotel was very noisy! Very audible from our room, seemed to be constant around busy breakfast time. Just ask for a room further down the corridor if possible, should solve the problem!

Pros (+) Here is the same review I've posted elsewhere: Highly recommend! Great hotel, almost boutique in atmosphere, and very well located for Barri Gotic (the medieval heart of the city, the Gothic Quarter). The building has been fashioned out of two of the old courtyard blocks. If you book early and request it, you should be able to get a street-facing room with a little balcony. The inner-facing rooms ...
Cons (-) The only thing I didn't like as much was the mattress. It felt quite hard but when I was researching which hotel to book it seemed to be a common issue so I'm not sure it can count against this hotel in particular.
