The hotel is NOT LaQuinta (now “Bloom”) They ask for more money even though the reservation was pre-paid Look out for bed bugs

There was very little to nothing to like about this hotel. The room smelled funny, furniture was broken, the alarm clock time was of by a few hours and could not be reset. The beds were comfortable enough but were extremely small with very thin and few covers. The air conditioner was so loud that it woke us up every time it came on. We needed a place to stay that had a shuttle to MSP airport for a 5:15am flight. Hotel was 10 min from airport . Shuttle was available and left on the hour. Room was comfortable. We shut down the thermostat due to a noisy blower. Staff was busy , but appearance was not very professional. Dressed like Saturday morning cleaning. They did their job so that is the main result.

Pros (+) The rooms and facility was clean and had nice staff. The breakfast was actually better than I thought it would be. There were only 4 waffle makers, which caused a line. I get they don’t want the waffles soggy, but it either needs to be more makers available or not have those as an option.
Cons (-) Somehow, my credit card was linked to another room, which caused an additional $200 charge. They were able to rectify it, but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Then when they went to remove my card off of the other room, it caused additional charges and then credits. Let’s just say it was a headache dealing with that part. Pros (+) Nice clean hotel. Room was comfortable for 4 people but not oversized. Nice fitness room with multiple machines.
Cons (-) Only complaint would be they shut breakfast down at 9am during the week and I was only able to get the kids up and down there once in our 3 night stay before 9am.
