Pros (+) We stayed in the mansion room which was nicely done and what I expected for the 700 a night we paid. The beach bar was nice. The grounds were nicely manicured. The staff was generally helpful.
Cons (-) The pool by the mansion was horrible. It was very crowded and filled with screaming children and large extended families. ( parents, grand parents, kids etc). The service was almost non-existent. I expect a pool attendant who offers and prepares my set up, brings me water and offers me food and drink on a regular basis. Pros (+) Beautiful hotel, great location. Has it's own private beach with water warm enough to swim in, even early summer! We had an issue with our room when we checked in - was given a king bed instead of two queens. The staff was very accommodating about trying to fix the problem despite the late hour if our arrival. Our room was beautiful. We had a great stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Cons (-) Had to wait a while before the crib was delivered to our room (we checked in at 10pm). I would recommend calling ahead so they can get this ready for you before you arrive.
