Cons: You are providing false prices, car was double the price that you advertised plus when we went to the airport they told us that the car is not available. Your customer had to stay another night in the city since it was late and rented a car tomorrow in another company. Extremly poor service provided by Kayak and Avis. Never again

Pros: Staff very helpfull and friendlyCons: There is always something that is ont mentionned on the booking. I had to block 5000 euros on m'y card. Instead To do so, i bad To buy insurance and still block 1400 euros. I tought Avis was not like those "cheap" renter.

Pros: Great car, convenient location, speedy return.Cons: They insisted I get basic insurance coverage despite the fact the credit card (United Mileage Plus Explorer Card from Chase) I used to pay for the rental offers full coverage. This increased the price by another $40 for the rental duration (up from $140). The they kept quoting my the price without tax, which was misleading since what I was charged was another 20% higher than the $180 we kept discussing due to local sales tax. Last time I checked, car rental prices include all taxes and charges, as do all goods and services sold in Serbia (all prices include applicable taxes). Intentionally misleading and manipulative, resulting in a shitty experience.

Cons: We had a car reserved and still ended up waiting around 1 1/2 hours to get the car.

Good overallPros: Staff friendly and professional.Cons: About an hour in line to sign the paperwork and pick up the car.
9.6 Excellent28 Nov 2017
ExtrasPros: Staff, pickup and drop off were great. They offer roadside assistance 24/7. Their cars have less mileage on them compared to other rentals. Overall I was very happy with customer service.Cons: So I rented from Hertz Enterprise and Avis. Avis had the best deal however what they don't tell you on the website is that their green card which allows you to take the car out of the country is almost double what the other charge €70 vs €40. There was a guy serving another customer who made a remark that if you book on North American websites price is cheaper online but then you end up paying way more for all the additions at the counter. Yeah didn't appreciate his snarky remark so much.

Ford fiestaPros: The car was clean, and very good gasCons: Insurance that I puchesed was not valid, claiming that I can’t buy insurance for the car that is there’s. I thought Avis was a franchise and that all of them was the same regardless of location. I head to call and cancel previously bought insurance and buy there’s. I don’t understand what’s the point offering insurance thru the same booking company if nobody is accepting it, very frustrating. The price was same by the way Costumer service was ok but on the low level
Fine carPros: Easy pickup easy drop off (for a fee they picked up my car rental from my hotel.Cons: Fee to pick up my car early in the morning. Was not told about the fee I’m advance. My plane landed early and the company said they’d be open but there was never a mention of the fee. Totally lame.

very good experiencePros: Car was in top conditionCons: Europcar representative told me that the car that I'm supposed to get has no licence plate so I need to wait 2 days until it has one. He asked me if I need the car immediately and since I did, he upgraded me to higher level car with no extra charge.
Expectations did not pan outPros: Sixt employees were very nice and helpfulCons: My issue here is really with Kayak, not sixth. When I booked the car on Kayak I booked a Chevy Tahoe or similar. I understand that similar means it doesn't have to be a Chevy Tahoe, but the Dacia Duster that they had at Sixt in Belgrade is not a similar or comparable car. It is both smaller and weaker, not to mention the car was manual - lucky I know how to drive one but this should have been mentioned.
Pros: Staff was helpful and the entire process to pick up and drop off the car was quick.Cons: Car had no pick up going up the hill.

Pros: The staff was helpful and friendly with good English ability. They worked hard to process me as quickly as possible on both ends.Cons: I was surprised by a large deposit "required by the non-Hertz insurance" I had purchased. That should have been communicated before I arrived to pick up the car.

Pros: Excellent value. I have never driven a small car like the Toyota Aygo, but it turned out quite fine even going up the steep hills. Excellent gas mileage.Cons: Only that there was no windshield wiper liquid in the reservoir. I have already told Hertz about this and they said that they will take care of it.

Pros: Affordable and efficient! We rented a car in Belgrade, Serbia for a road trip through Serbia, Macedonia, and Bulgaria. Car was great, check in and out was great, and we appreciated Hertz's policy of no-charge for spouses as additional driver (if you're a member of their rewards group).

Cons: I changed three cars during my rental. First car under rented size and they changed day after. Second car engine over heated. They brought third car tomorrow morning from Belgrade to Montenegro. All cars was with lot of damage and screeching. All cars luck like too old

Pros: Everything was perfect.Cons: Price perhaps per day?
Pros: Car upgrade for a very small $$ difference. Friendly staff. Very satisfied.

Pros: The car was functionalCons: Even though the booking said it was fully paid and there would be no additional fees, and even though the booking said they were open for pickup 24 hours, they still charged me 36 euros, more than the entire cost of my two day rental, as an "after hours pickup fee" because I requested an 8am pickup and they say they don't open till 9am. Incidentally, the guy was late anyway so I didn't get the car till after 9am. They are running a scam operation.
Cons: I specifically requested an automatic vehicle through Kayak. As the request was turned into a reservation, the automatic somehow became a manual. At the time, i was unaware that this happened, since i had clicked on automatic. At the counter, we were given a manual. More on this, but no more space
Worse experience everPros: The car was in good condition.Cons: Obligatory charge for winter chains (other rental company es not charging for it -I actually had to change rental company sam I know this for a fact). They also checked my car upon return without me being present and found a scratch that was not there before. I was not aware of anything scratching my car and I was not present when they inspected it upon return. They charged me for “repairs” 20200 Dinars which is unbelievable amount. They were not able to show me what they based their repair fee on. This was not Thrifty this was AVIS
One of the main perks of renting a vehicle during your time in Belgrade is that it allows you to traverse the entirety of Serbia if you so wish it. Using Belgrade as your homebase, you can easily venture out across the countryside to many of the country’s most famous spots. One tip to remember when driving in Belgrade, especially on the highway, is that is very common for drivers to use their lights to signal to other drivers on the road. Specifically, it is normal on the highway for drivers to flash their lights at drivers ahead of them to tell them to change lanes so that they can go by.
Fortunately for visitors to Belgrade, the rush hour traffic in the city is by no means as serious as some of the other European capitals.
