El Médano Car Hire

Cons: Fact that I bought insurance initially online when I made the reservation that the company didn't recognize when I picked up the car. They pushed another insurance that cost as much as the rental - it was either that or put a 1100 Euro deposit that may or may not cover everything if something happens. With their insurance they didn't care that there were already dents and scratches in the car or the condition when I brought it back. Also had to put a 103 Euro deposit on gas if I didn't bring it back full. Odd thing when I filled the car was that the gas gauge didn't register full. Still not sure if that is going to be charged. Overall, I will never use Kayak again or Ace Car Rental. Scammed and cheated is how I will remember this transaction.
