Pros: Nothing.Cons: Everything. My rental vehicle wasn't ready when I picked it up, so I waited while they "cleaned" it, which was only vacuuming—no other cleaning, no COVID-level disinfecting. It was a work van so I figured fine if it wasn't super clean. However, while I had the rental I found multiple Q-tips (in the cupholders and on the floor), a bobby pin in another cupholder and tortilla chips on the floor. Gross. While driving the van in the rain, I discovered that it LEAKED extensively from the rearview mirror onto the dash/console (where the electronics are), flooding the cupholders and dripping onto the floor. I was moving a van full of antique furniture from my parents' estate, so flooding in the vehicle was a concern. It rained 4 days--so I drove with a towel over the dash to try to protect the electronics, and water dripping everywhere. I had to sop dirty water out of those uncleaned cupholders. When I went to drop the van off there were 3 parties ahead of me and 2 people working. I waited 40+ minutes just to return the vehicle. During this time employees were running around, no one greeted/acknowledged any of the waiting customers--people were not happy. When it was my turn, I told them about the dirtiness and the leak--which they needed to fix. The woman checking me in said something like, oh no, that's not ok, and then LEFT THE ROOM without explanation—and didn't come back!! I was left waiting while she was in the next room loudly chit-chatting with the people ahead of me for 10 minutes, making sure that they were taken care of while I stood there wondering if she was coming back. When the other employee finished with his customer he asked if I was being helped—I told him that I thought I was, but that the woman just left. His dismissively responded, “well don’t worry about that” and he tried to hurry me up as there were other people waiting behind me. I told him again about the dirtiness and the leak, and wanted to show him where the leak was. I felt hurried and dismissed—he didn’t want to see the photos or video I took, I had to force him to do a once-over of the vehicle to make sure there wasn't any new damage--there was body damage to the vehicle when I picked it up, so I didn't want to be charged for that. Because I was getting brushed off, I told the man I told the man that they have a major customer service problem, which is an understatement. There was no apology about the terrible customer service, the van not being ready or clean or the leak, but he told me I would be compensated for the problems and "not be charged for one day or something." Needless to say, I wasn't compensated and WAS CHARGED FULL PRICE. Really incompetent all around. I won’t rent here again and am notifying Hertz corporate about my experience.

Pros: The staff was ok and drop off and pick up were both greatCons: The van I rented was dirty when I got it and they seemed to have no desire to clean it. I had to get going pretty quick so I did not push the issue.

Pros: despite taking my reservation for a specific class of vehicle, they didnt honor it then they upcharged me for lesser class (4x4 pickup reserved, got a compact suv, its all they had) extra mystery charges on my credit card i will need to disputeCons: honor reservations dont upcharge for a lesser car dont charge my credit card again for no reason

Pros: The staff was friendly just understaffed not enough help. Your employee had to attempt to clean cars, rent cars, fill cars with gas at another location. How can hertz justify one employee to do all those jobs and not be able to attend to customers in a timely manner. The car had just returned from Florida wasn’t cleaned to covid standards. There was dry dirt prints on the seats from a dog being in the vehicle. Wasn’t wiped down properly. If you have covid standards then they are not being met! This employee is doing the best he can with all these jobs and hats put on him. I don’t fault your employee I fault hertz corporate rent a car for the sub standards. I don’t know about the higher ups but when I spend $353.00 of my money to rent your car I expect a clean car the outside had bug kill in the hood and windshield. I am disappointed in this transaction and hope you take this into account how you handle your rental business in the future!Cons: The car could have been cleaned inside and out that isn’t a far fetched expectation.

Pros: We hated this experience. We needed an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle for a trip and the location never bothered to contact us to let us know they did not have a vehicle for us. We arrived at Hertz and before the end of the day according to their GOOGLE and WEBSITE hours but the location was closed with shortened hours they never updated. We called Hertz to see if they would honor the rate for the following morning only to be told they could not find our reservation, as it was cancelled. We printed off the information to head back the following morning only to be told they had never even had a vehicle which would have met our needs. Either way, the trip had to be cancelled and was non refundable because we could not find a rental to meet our needs. We were given NO notice and I found that inexcusable.Cons: Everything.

Pros: Staff was super friendly and helped me very fast. The car was clean and she went over everything with me before taking it which was great.Cons: Price could have been better for such a small car.

Pros: Nothing I wasn’t able to take the car.Cons: Making sure Hertz employees know what they’re doing. I didn’t even get to take the car and was still charged full price.
