our stay was very short, but it was perfect. the place was excellent, not just our room which was immaculate but also the common living room. the little snacks and wine available at all hours was exceptional. The host was a lovely person and her suggestion on how we spend our day seemed tailored to my wife and i, and was exactly what we wanted. Then to top it all off she made a second breakfast just for the 2 of us because when we came down for breakfast we told her we don't eat some of the ingredients in her initial main dish (we gave her know prior indication of our dietary restrictions). we would have been happy to just eat the yogurt, homemade granola, fruit and pastries, but no she went out of her way to make separate main dishes for us.
Nancy was a great host. She gave us information about the area which helped in our decision of how to spend our limited time. Breakfast was wonderful too!
The location is great. In a very nice historic neighborhood close to downtown. Having the bikes was a plus. The breakfast was excellent and the eating area was in a nice big room overlooking the yard. The host had a lot of knowledge of the area and was very helpful.
We stayed in the large room on the main floor. The bathroom had a door that connected with the kitchen which made it feel like we were in the same room. With all of the doors in the room, privacy was a concern. The bed was kind of small and hard.
I and my manfriend liked everything about our stay. The breakfast was very tasty, especially the zucchini bread and the watermelon. Nancy fixed a nice lunch, with last minute notice, to take with us. I would recommend staying there.
I can't think of anything!
Location, house and breakfast. We have been often and love it every time
