Friendly staff
The hotel is in three buildings and each with lifts to different levels and to the garages. For older people the number of lifts were a little confusing and there could be notices to make the lift use easier. In 6 days we had only just got used to the system.

Breakfast minutes from room and excellent. Staff super friendly and helpful, organised flowers, fruit and wine for my room. I ordered food outside of the normal times and they organised it with no problems. Beautiful view from room, and downstairs terrace, and buses stop right at reception. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
There was nothing I didn't like apart from leaving to go home! I couldn't find fault with anything. If you want to keep fit, they have a gym, two pools and a great walk into the down town centre.

We are fairly regular guest and we do like the atmosphere, the humble design of the building, the really friendly and helpful staff and also the extras like pool, spa etc. The funny thing: there are many amenities and special rooms in this hotel and even though being regular guests we always find something new: this time a painting room and a very nice adjacent terrace.
Just two small suggestions, nothing big: - there was a bit of a smell in the bathroom, not untidy, but more like desinfection from a hospital or so. Not bad or worrying, but checking for this could enhance the room experience. - there is a lot of fruit for breakfast. Some more lical food would be great, e.g. Anonas.
