Pros (+) I paid $150 USD compared to the other $310 offer I received for a solo traveler. I was over being around tourists at this point at the staff was awesome. They let me eat on the stern where they prepare the food and left me alone when for the most part. The crew were really amazing. Hung out with most via Google Translate and Minh the tour guide late night just shooting the s**t. Food was very good...
Cons (-) Nothing. Cruise was great for the price. I believe they offer a shuttle from Hanoi. Halong Bay is over priced for Vietnam, being over developed and has no good places to eat (I'm talking about 50,000 dong pho and com chien place too). Take the shuttle from Hanoi and don't bother with Halong Bay.
