Hotels near Honningsvåg Valan airport

Pros: Very comfortable bed, good breakfast, hotel at the harbor with good view, OK WIFI, good location to rest before continuing the journey to Nord Kapp (North Cape). Parking next to the hotel.

Cons: It did not have in house restaurant for dinner but there are options nearby. Just a bit of an extra effort to go out again after very long drive for us. Price is OK-ish considering being in Norway and remote location (45min to North Cape).

Pros: Location is fantastic, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Breakfast was very limited in a fairly un osy setting, lack of dinner option in the hotel. Rooms are very standard.

Pros: Hotel is in the center of town. There are new room with modern design and other room with old style. Breakfast have many kind of food and everything was delicious. The staffs were helpful, although we arrived after midnight.

Cons: There was an incident cause some unprofessional management. Hope it will be better in the future.

Pros: Breakfast was great as others were describing it. Also the view was astonishing. Room was clean but the lighting was lacking in some parts of the room. Also there was not a refrigerator, but it seemed there had been one before.

Cons: They should have a king size bed, as the bed where we were sleeping consisted of two separate beds pushed together and there was not a single covering mattress to unite them, but separate ones. This made sleeping for two people who like to cuddle, very difficult.

Pros: The room was very spacious and quiet. Everything was very clean and nice. I slept like a baby.

Cons: No hairdryer or tea cooking facilities in the room, which was a bit cheap.

Pros: The welcome was very nice and detailled about what to do and where were the interesting places (like where to rent a car). Very powerful heating

Cons: Weird smell on the 1st floor. A LOT of noise in the evening (past 23), looks like walls are paper thin (at least on 1st floor), had to yell a couple times for quiet. Even with earplugs, could ear everything !

Pros: Great location, warm rooms, big kitchen, strong wifi and they were extremelly helpful with our late check in.

Cons: Common bathrooms need renovation as they smell bad. A bit pricey.

Pros: Everything is ok: rooms, toilets, showers, kitchen, wifi. Close to supermarket and to the road to Nordkapp. Staff is kind and cyclist-friendly

Pros: Location is great, breakfast was better than expected and the room was not bad, taking into account that the hotel is quite in a middle of nowhere.

Cons: Well, first of all, the tap water was not drinkable due to some issues / repairs at the hotel. One has to walk for quite few minutes to fill a bottle in reception area. Also, the room exit is directly to open stairway, Australian / US style. That was ok for us, as we knew about it before, but you may feel that it is inappropriate for a hotel. Finally, it was crowded, buses and buses of tourists, and checking in took time...

Pros: Stayed 2 nights Taking in count location its very good hotel comfortable and clean quality service pretty much like any 3* hotel room simple but decent breakfast was good has big parking

Cons: seems like hotel more oriented on bus group tours than single travelers but still i felt myself fine there wooden floor in the way to the rooms creating loud sound when guests roll their suitcases on the wheels but didnt bother me too much

Pros: Good breakfast, great location (25 km from Nordkapp), quiet surroundings, modern look room.

Cons: It’s quite a massive complex - there could be ~300+ rooms. Perhaps we were lucky to stay there on a low crowdy time. Despite that I have nothing negative to say.

Cons: Creaking bathroom door. It is forbidden to collect hot water in the public area.

Pros: I left a crappy review for this place last summer..But decided to try again this summer. It was great, got a quiet room at the end of a walkway and everything was awesome.

Pros: Good location for visiting Nordkapp

Cons: Walkways are external and in bad weather you get cold and wet. Hotel caters for bus groups. No lifts all stairs and no laundry service

Pros: The furniture is a little old, but the room was comfy. Breakfast was delicious. The location of the Hotel was great.

Pros: Very good location in the charming town of Honningsvag. Very friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast. The hotel is not and doesn't pretend to be 4 or 5 star but as a base for exploring Mageroya and the Nordkapp it is perfect. Would stay there again.

Cons: No bar or evening meal but you can buy drinks at reception.

Pros: The room we got was large and comfortable, however with no fridge (we carry some food as in our tour we also stay in cabins) There’s a small gluten free corner at the breakfast buffet. Food there didn’t seem freshly cooked

Cons: Relatively high price. Long walking distance with luggage. No secured parking and no restaurant facilities. Breakfast was okayish not everything looked fresh.

Cons: Small old room No plug in sink resulting in drain smell in the room. Plug hole full of hair. No bedside table Tv not connected to power. When I found the power cord behind the desk, tv remote batteries died after 2 or 3 channel changes. Only way to switch off tv was to remove power cord. Desk dirty with what looked like hamburger fat. Bed for me too soft, resulting in back pain the next day.

Pros: central location, reasonable restaurant, very friendly staff

Cons: very very tiny toilet corner
