I've heard a lot of positive review about Westin Nusa Dua, and now I know why. From the time you walked in, the staff will make you feel that you are the special guest. They were warm and hospitable. The idea of making the kids also a special guest made this hotel my prime destination for family vacation. The hotel it self was superb: the grand lobby, main pool, the beach, kids pool, kids club, sun loungers and cocoon everywhere, sport facilities etc. The room was good. It has a modern and destinctive design, although the balcony was too small. The buffet breakfast was great. Lots of varied food. The were two downsides I would say for this hotel ie.the depth of the pool. I mean, who wants the pool with more than two meters deep for leisure purpose? The other one was the kids activity program at the kids club. They set different activity in the different day. We were there on Saturday, but my son couldn't get the rock climbing and fishing activity because they were on the other day. Saw...
Good hotel. Royal Beach club is a good offer, but subject to ''hard sell'' from reception desk. Rooms are OK, not that big. Note: no Kingsize bed room with bath (shower only!).Excellent service. Food is good.
Hotel has a very nice garden inside. Nice rooms, a truly 5 star hotel for just 115 USD (the hotel rate on the spot was actualy 15 USD cheeper than booking .com's rate). generally, everything is great. Note, that this hotel is especially good for those who wanna enjoy swimming in a calm environment, the real life is in Kuta and you have to pay around 40,000 (private car)-70,000 rupis (blue bird taxi) for one way to get there. Kuta is also closer to all major sites on the island. Bear that in mind!!! The only sad thing - Internet costs 10 USD per day (sounds too much for me). Two times the cleaning staff forgot to replace the dental kit in the barhroom.
Hotel staff was very friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. The prices for food and drinks were very overpriced. Entertainement at the pool is nice but not to much to do at nights. Hotel is far from Kuta and no shuttle bus is offered. Only way to reach is by taxi. It is a nice hotel if u are looking for absolute quite and peace. Otherwise it can be boring after few days.
The location and grounds are perfect, with lots of entertainment and choices for food (often preferable, if a little boring, to stay in the hotel and eat rather than risk "Bali belly" on the outside). The staff at the kids club are patient and friendly, and happily occupied our 7 year olds for several hours. Rooms are good, good buffet choice at breakfast. Do the nature cycle ride, and vary your restaurant choice. All good. It can be tempting to stay completely at the hotel as everything is there, but try and travel out.
The overall luxury and comfort relative to the reasonable cost. Musty smell due to high humidity.
The gardens were beautiful. The outlook from the breakfast room was very relaxing. Great size swimmimg pool. On the beach. Freindly staff. The dark brown cieling in out room had a crack in it and a web which was there all week. I Mrs Redman slept with the light on each night. As I was not sure what had made the web and what might be living in the crack.
relax and spa shooping
The kids club was excellent to keep our 2 young daughters during the day. They also had some good water activities in the morning - aerobics and water volleyball. The rooms were expensive for what you got. All the restaurants were not good value for what you paid - overpriced. The beach was dirty and not a good place to relax at. The pool was okay. I will not visit this resort again with those prices. There are better deals elsewhere.
I could relax, read my book, use the gym and swim in the sea at high tide. The quality of food was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. You cannot see the sea from the pool which is a pity, too many sunbeds crammed on the beach/pool, nasty drain smells outside room, breakfast room was hot and too much gamelan music every day, wrong location for families with teenagers who want to be nearer Kuta for shopping, food/drinks were expensive for a family of 6, different prices quoted for taxis into Kuta by the hotel staff.
The breakfast was amazing. Lot's of choice. The hotel itself was very big and grand. The beach wasn't great.
Melia Bali is a great place to spend holiday with family with young children. The ambience is great. We spent a lot of time around the pool. The staff is excellent. The whole place looks lively and happening Very few options for Veg food. A bit of painting job on the doors and furniture
Enjoyed the holiday on the beach as well as the brilliant swiming pools for entire three days. Especially, I was deeply impressed by the pool which is beside the sea with a gogeous and whole view of Indian Ocean. Of course it would be great if the hotel will be able to provide more and more attractive promotion, such as beneficial room rate, free room upgrade....
the rock bar and pets for my baby!!! Excellent ideas The blockage lift access to rock bar due to wedding ceremony
the staff are really excellent. One of the best managed hotels I've stayed in , and I've stayed all over the world. Facilities are absolutely superb well designed, well maintained. the gardens are a feature. no
The breakfast is great and the staff are lovely - they were happy to change my room for me. If you are looking for a wedding venue, the hotel has beautiful pavilions and superb landscaping to create a dream setting. If you want a resort hotel in the sun that happens to be in Bali and where you'll be pampered, this is the place, but be aware that extras cost extra. If you want to actually experience Bali, think twice. It is an isolated, self-contained resort. Saying it is in Jimbaran Bay is deceptive - Jimbaran is 7 or 8 km away - if you want the famous "eating on the beach" experience, you'll need a taxi. There is a shuttle service, but it is to Kuta - the very place I wanted to avoid on my trip round Bali. Fortunately this was my last stop so I'd seen the real Bali already. You have to take their shuttle to their private beach - it is in the next bay and there are 160 steps down to the beach itself. Internet access is expensive. The standard rooms are generic American hotel style - nothing "Balinese" about them. Some have connecting doors which are not soundproof - mine was so bad I asked to be moved. The marble hallways create more noise.
Comfortable, friendly nothing
Everything was prefect and highly recommend an one-bedroom ocean view villa, however, the rock bar and the ocean pool are gogerous, you can see the whole indian ocean as well as the food in the atmospheric restaurants. Staff are professional and good services! Spa is a must there, I was lucky made at the limited ocean view spa room. We will come back again and stay with Ayana. I think the buffet breakfast at Padi was bit pricy becuase the food was really average and I didnt actually eat. I recommend to pay the same price for Dava where you can stay quiet and enjoy your good breakfast.
i love it, will come again
The ground facilities were fantastic (pools, bars etc), food was also really good. Rock Bar is amazing at sunset! Room faciities are a little dated, even with an upgrade which we recieved. You are paying for the resort facilities. The resort is fairly remote from any other location for shopping or eating, would be nice if the resort ran shuttles other than just Kuta.
good services and very comfort the price is expensive
Strongly recommend to visit Bar on the Rock. Amazing! Grill Restaurant is good as well. Cleanliness is clearly below 5 stars hotel standard. Location is not the best one - you are pretty isolated in this hotel.
My son was married at the hotel and I was most impressed with the service of the staff, their politeness and the facilities. I was most impressed with the young woman that checked me in for breakfast most mornings. As with all the staff she was polite and cheerfull. the remoteness from the action spots like kuta and legion but this could also be a good thing. Maybe a shuttle service to these places would be a good thing
Non-working room phone, ants in room, cockroaches in breakfast buffet area, no alcohol in in-room mini bar, leaky bathroom faucet, ineffective A/C, lack of organization and coordination amongst staff and departments, management attempts to backtrack on promises. Three star hotel at very best.
The pool and the thematic dinners The ladies at the front desk (reception) were not very helpful and had trouble understanding english. They didn't seem very aware of their duties and responsabilities. On the other hand, during check out, the staff was very high standard
it was the perfect hotel for our Honeymoon.we loved the staff especially Sudar and Ady!! Wonderful Restaurant at the beach side "Shore"
I liked the beach, and the design of the hotel Choice of restaurants and food limited, and the fact that breakfast was included with the room at the booking.com price.
It was the perfect exclusive abode to continue our honeymoon experience. We honestly had a wonderful stay. The only thing we could fault is the limited breakfast but that was very minor in the scheme of things.
excellent, has good location on cliff
It's a beautiful place! Great views and great swimming pools. Very romantic! 1. The seawater along the beach is actually quite dirty. After a few minutes in the sea, I couldn't stand it anymore and had to go back to the swimming pools which were very clean and comfortable, but hey we are at the beach and isn't it shame that you can't swim in it? 2. The internet service is not good. You need to pay a lot to have internet in your room. You can have wi-fi in the lobby area but it's really really slow and they cut it off at around 9pm, so not convenient at all. 3. The slippers are too fragile. My husband's and my slippers were both broken during the first day.
Brilliant location, right on the beach. Food was good and relatively inexpensive in comparison to the room rates.
Great place for vacation with breath taking views, ocean, etc.. Food & drinks are very expensive in the hotel. Only one restaurant open during the day. NO other activities (like shows for kids, evening music, etc..) in the hotel other than swimming pool.
The rooms were very modern and roomy. AC worked very well. Food was average and pricey. Breakfast buffet was comparable to 2 star hotel in Vegas. Private beach was small, nothing to do except soak in the ocean and get a tan.
The location of the hotel. The stuff is not that all helpful. I waited for over two hours for check-in and from their response, it seems it was pretty normal to them which is a bit hard to accept.
We've got an upgrade to better room for free. Studio room was really big. Big choice for breakfast buffet. Very bad smell from the air con. It couldn't happen in new 4 star hotel. Beach chair selection can be not enough during high season.
Luxurious, spacious rooms. Money well spent. Housekeeping was not always up to their standard.....
The hotel upgrade into an apartment. It was amazing
All Staff is very good of service mind. I am so impressive with all of them.
Typical hotel from worldwide hotel network: rooms, food, service are standardized. In general price/quality is good, but you will not find there any special Balineese features. For our purposes (last night before departure after a 2-week trip through Bali by rented car) it was a good option, but I will not advise to stay there if this the only hotel on Bali in your journey - you can loose a lot of local specifics.
Friendly service Found the persistant calls to my room to pick up my room service tray a bit invasive.
Transportation from hotel to the beach was not flexible, was raining and must wait until beach car came? Since it takes only 2 minutes from the hotel, due to the weather, the car should be flexible to pick up guest anytime when needed.
Aston Bali is a reasonable hotel on a now rather overpriced island. The standards of accommodation have really gone up over the last 10 years, but then, so has the price. Keep your expectations low and you will be content. The pool is quite large and seems to be clean. There always seemed to be a sufficient number of deckchairs available. Breakfast was quite good albeit monotonous after a few days. There is a gym but we did not use it. The rooms are quite large and all seem to have balconies. Air conditioning worked well and the televisions are decent sized LCD. Rooms came with mosquito repellent bats but we did not find these particularly effective as we were still eaten to death on two occasions. Wear bug spray to bed! Aston has a dubious process for processing credit card statements. Upon arrival we were asked to write our credit card details on a piece of paper. A scan of the card was also taken. Unfortunately, Aston seem to have some less than trustworthy staff as by the end of our stay, our credit card had been canceled by the bank due to the appearance of $900 in online gambling charges. The card had not been used except for this hotel booking so it is safe to say the details were taken from the hotel and used fraudulently. Recording the card insecurely is unprofessional and the hotel should improve this process. Losing a card while traveling can completely ruin a perfectly good holiday! Additionally, bathrooms could be kept cleaner.
The rooms were very spacious and very comfortable beds.My Spa treatment was very good and very reasonable. The a la carte restuarant was very disappointing. We did not return after the first meal there. The hot water was only tepid all of the time. We noticed maintenance works going on but parts of the hotel did appear to be tired looking.
none, the staff was rude. They didnot honer my reservation. I was given what was there which was very low class very dirty. The towles were black from so many uses. incsects were every where. I had to put my shose on top shelve to make sure nothing gets in it. I had to leave
The location, the beach, the room, the environment... No jacuzzi in the suite.
The staff were very friendly and the whole experience was relaxing and a great pamper! Some of the guests should learn how to be civil to the staff. The French were particularaly rude.
I stay alone in a seaview room, but in reality many palm leaves hide the sea. It is a spacious room with LCD TV and a good shower plus whirpool. This is quite expensive rate for such kind of room
Big, ok hotell. Friendly staff, clean area and beach. Expensive and not so good spa. Hard bed.
Bali feel and the view of the ocean. Food at dinner could be better.
We thought it was a great location, the prices for drinks & dinners were too expensive compared to outside restaurants. Happy hour was not what was expected, not really discounted, our shower was not cleaned the whole time we were there, which was dissapointing. Activities were not advertised clearly within the hotel to express your options as to what was available to you.
Dogs on the beach :) The hotel was nic but a little bit old. The bars and restaurants were closed before the set time. The staff was not alweys polite.
Right on the beach. Beautiful view from the rooftop. Comfortable beds. Staff was helpful, and friendly. Very noisy. Can hear your neighbors, and the streets below. Woke up to someone knocking on our door at 3 AM. Anyone has access to the rooftop so it was crowded with people not staying at the hotel.
Location is superb, just in front of Kuta beach The water smells awful! The manager told us it was because the contractor didn't install the right pipes for the plumbing!! The staff forgot to replenish the soap for our barhroom!!
Hotel staff are helpful and friendly. They fulfill your request within a few minutes. Security is good and it's quite safe to stay in Bali. Hotel should not be 5 star hotel. It's too old and facilities are not good
lack of warmness from staffs, more cordination between restorant and reception is required, found mosquitoes in bathroom.
Kuta Paradiso Hotel is a lovley hotel, great entrance, great pool and great service but the rooms could of been beter although very clean.
I have to say that generally deluxe rooms are ok. Problems: you cut extra money from me and I do not know why and for what because the price was already published on website and it is not fair. On my arrival I could not get the room that I have booked. I had to prove my rights for the room and it is really strange for 5 star hotel. Hotel is located right at the ocean and when I go there I have to walk around corners – no straight way. It is not a complain I have to say that generally deluxe rooms are ok. Great entertainment, beautiful breakfast, well designed pool, friendly staff and helpful, need to update gym a bit and lifts, great games at the pool and close to restaurants, beach behind hotel, so no interference from sellers or drunks
The location, security, foods and the surrounding area near by. A lot of mosquito!
Hotel is quite nice and has the own beach. The swimming pool is too small especially there are too many guests staying. There are too many people are queuing for free internet workstations (only 2 workstations provided)
The sunrise view with the hotel, value for money. aircon is not cold enough
Activities like tennis, pingpong, gym, billiard... The cleanness of the rooms. The breakfast is really good. The only bad thing is the hotel is divided by a road. Anyway there is a guard assisting for cross
there is no free wifi in the room.
The hotel's balinese style is nice. With the price I got, it is considered to be a good deal but compared to other resorts, I'd pay little more next time and stay in a better hotel inside Nusa Dua.But in general our stay was satisfactory. The hotel was old. It requires renovation. You need to pay extra to get a room on the beach side otherwise you need to cross the street to go to the lobby.
Friendly staff , always happy to help. felt it was bad that in such a hot cliamate no refrigeration was used for food being served , like deserts, cut fruit and raw poultry and meat for bbq and grill. This needs to be improved as food will go off in minutes
Our family stayed 5days in the Novotel Bali Benoa for our haliday. In general, we satisfied with the hotel
The staff was very friendly and attentive, breakfast was delicious, spa wonderful, the amenities, design. Too much seaweed in the water in front of hotel, very noisy at night because of the airplanes which lane of taking off, trespasses above the hotel, the smell of mould in the room. The fact that we had to pay 40 usd per day to benefit of a room on the beach.
Hotel was on the beach. Loads of water sport options were available. Quiet surroundings, ideal for relaxed holiday. Select indian foods should have been available at the hotel for BF & Dinner.
We were in the garden section, which is the opposite side of main road to the beach section. Don't let this put you off as in my opinion this is where the quiet pools and swim up bar is located. Room towels & bed linen were dated & need replacement. However any issues reported were dealt with. Great location if you are keen on watersports.
staff were great and very helpful. great pools and spa. the place has a nice bali feel about it. a nice breakfast each morning. not to big and busy. the hotel is in need of a bit of money spent on maintenance, both lifts were not working. timber handrails to the pools were rotting and unstable. tiles in the pool were loose.
I enjoyed the serenity of The Grand, it was very balinese, retained much of the baliness gardens, and furtniture. The pool area was good. Not a large hotel which I liked. Breakfast was also good. Staff were very friendly. Even though the Hotel was a short drive away from the Beach Club, and the shuttle is meant to run every two hours, they were quite flexible. Beach Club was very relaxing, good hay umbrellas, very friendly massage ladys, Nonna very strong. The Bed wasnt the best, you could feel the springs. The beach was a little rubbishy, but there were constantly people there cleaning it. Apart from that couldnt complain about anything else.
We spent the last two days of our stay in Bali in this hotel. Rooms were very nice. Clean and big. Service was nice. We liked everything. The hotel is not just close to the beach but it has a private beach were you are transported by a shuttle bus (about five minutes route). We rented a motorbike nearby that we used it to go to the beach and visit other places.
Amazing, small- sized hotel with excellent architecture. Really ergonomic areas and several choises in terms of rooming. Excellent service and relaxing atmosphere.
very out dated a bit disappointing
Excellent the staff are very friendly, helpful eventually the staff became like family. Excellent food & facalities. Good transport around the hotel.Taxis just outside. Free transport to private beach & Kuta. Very clean, fresh linen every day.
A small hotel away from the huge informal 5 star ones. The staff are pleasant, the pool area is lovely, the spa is great and not expensive. The private beach is fantastic but about 20 minutes walk from the hotel. Excellent restaurants and local shops are very close. The shuttle bus to the beach only runs every 2 hours - hourly would be better.
The rooms are quite big, and in fairly good order as opposed to other hotels that have not been maintaned or left to run down through out the island. The staff are quite friendly and tend to rememebr your name and are more than willing to help with an enquiry you may have. The buffet breakfast was again better than other hotels i have stayed at in Bali. However i still find it very American with a poor selection of breakfast cereals. However the fresh fruit and pastries and eggs cooked to order on the spot are great. If you want a good coffee you'll have trouble finding this in Balil in general. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle then the Grand is a great option. It's only a 3 minute walk down to the shops or restaurants. Our stay was extremely pleasant except for on departure where there was a miscommunication between the reservations manager, ourselvses and booking.com. Booking.com informed us that they had matched an alternate websites price (we found one for $11Us a night cheaper elsewhere). Upon check out the hotel had not been informed and a small argument/re-negotiation of our price ensued. After a 30 minute wait the Grand staff were slightly reluctant but pleasant enough to match the quoted price. There is no gym, and the hotel doesn't connect to a beach, however its only a 4 minute motorbike ride away or 25 minutes to padang padang. Overall i would happily stay here again.
Though beach was far from hotel, we didn't need to go cuz internal environment was perfect! We got upgraded room(Pool villa), was not good for us, company collegues but I think honeymooner will love that. Nice service, nice weather, nice price, nice room. Considering of everything, it was perfect Beach was pretty far (10min by taxi) and no shower in the beach.
The hotel is very quiet. The interiors are very nice and relax. Good spa, but expensive. Helpful staff. The beach club doesn't good enough - there are no wc rooms, sometimes showers don't work. And the main problem is the clearness of the beach: 1) there is municipal beach nearby and it's not cleaned at all; as the result all garbage sooner or later swims to the hotel beach 2) the beach staff don't take the garbage in time and it's swimming in the sea. But if it was not windy the day before the beach is very nice.
Both my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic location for both shopping, restaurants and relaxing by the pool or on the beach. I would have no hesitation of recommending the hotel
Beach and central location Small bath room
Good breakfast, great pool, close to beach & city center renovation on our floor, dirty
The service of the guy on the front desk was discusting. He tried charging us for drinks from the mini bar but we did not care that we did not have them. He ignored us and said he would call the police. It was discraceful service and wrecked the end of our holiday. I will never stay there again.
The best part of the stay is having very friendly and helpful hotel staff to guide you through sightseeing places and to find the best shopping places which the locals use. Made some friends and had a great time. The only unfortunate problem was that they were renovating during my stay and the noise and dust was bothersome as i would love to be able to write in the quiet solitude of my room during the day.
My friend was in the pool, floating human shit went on to her and she has to jump out of the pool, disgusting!! We complain to the staff but not even an apology!! Rooms are outdated, poor break fast spread, for sure this hotel not value for money. there are much better hotels on the beach for this price.
The hotel are in a very nice location. Directly on the beach and close to the Beach Road. Just small step and you are in the city. Just a small steps and you are on the very nice beach. Nice large pool with a lovely pool bar and kindly staffs. Nice garden with a nice restaurant close to the beach. The staffs at the pool and the garden restaurant kindly, helpful. The hotel by self. If you come from the pool and garden, you have the feeling you are not in the same hotel. The rooms are old, dark, very dirty, and noisy . The cleaner unkindly, laesy and not clean. My room was full up with mosquitoes. The blanket on the bed not white, more grey. Only 2 towels for 2 people. The cleaner not disinfect the toilet.
Some of the facilities were a little worn. There was a problem with some leaking water which my son fell over in.
Location is great. Buffet breakfast was good with sufficient choices. Staff was helpful and accommodating whenever we request for items like outlet adaptors and packaging tapes. Yes, the House keeping staff should clean the rooms well and use better smelling fabric detergent or softeners for their sheets, towels and pillow cases. Their bed throw pillows were soiled and smelly.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location was great...right on the beach! The hotel also helped a lot with booking excursions.
Rooftop was nice, it is just next to the beach, central. The toilet has a smell in the room i think because of the pipes, we always stayed close the toilet door, a part of the hotel is still is underconstruction, so it is usual to find yourself in a weird place. stuff smiles always, but for a high standart hotel it is not fair that they try to charge customers as soon as possible as they arrive to the hotel, it should be at the end of the stay, i had a problem with the agency, and the stuff tried to charge me 3times to ensure their payment, the high quality hotels dont care about money, they care about customers. But the stuff just wanted payment as soon as possible in this hotel.
The room that was booked had no view to the outside, it had a view looking into the center of the hotel. Very depressing. Not a place I would ever stay again
The staff are all very friendly We were put in a corner room with a broken air conditioner, lumpy mattress, no balcony, non smoking (even though smoking was requested)... Spent as much time away from the room as possible.
The hotel is conveniently located near the beach & mall. Room was spacious and breakfast spread was great. We loved the pool & Taboo for the children's activity. This is our 3rd visit to Hard Rock hotel. Not easy to take metered taxi out of the hotel, frequently have to wait. hotel seems more keen to promote in house transport.
the music, the food, the pool the rooms and the bathrooms
The staffs are very friendly & helpful na
1 the swimming pool(s) is great; 2 live music was good; 3 multiple options to eat although I didn't use it; 4 the atmosphere of music all arround in the hotel. Music was played in the hallways in the hotel as well. Not loud at all but I could here it when I was in my room. Because of tiles on the floor in the hallways in my room I could here anything what was going on in the hallways.
Staff attitude, Room size, Resturant View of the Room, No Tea and Coffee in the room, Extra charges for the slippers, robes and the bad. Only two water bottels in room however the booking was 2 Adults and 2 Children. Resturant serving coffee / tea only at the beginig of the breakfast and it was only warm.
The location was amazing and the facilities really added to a fun time. The staff was excellent. Really cool place to stay. The drink specials were great. The advertisement shows the waterslides, but they are tiny in comparison to the picture. The food is very expensive too, in comparison to places in Bali.
Location, clean comfy beds, great breakfast. Beach, food, shopping, and entertainment within a short walk Too many people for my taste and a bit loud with all the music.
Location Service Atmosphere Décor / Good clean Rooms Food Pretty Much everything else I have stayed here multiple times - No real negatives, although drink prices at centre stage bar are a little high to other places in Kuta
The location of the hotel is good, the staffs are very friendly. The television is very small.
Pool excellent, but never seen staff cleaning throughout the day Stayed at several hotels in bali but found the Facilities extremely outdated, room very poor and breakfast average for Hard Rockk Hotel
MORI from reception was great thanks mori for ur help , all staff was smiling and at hand , best trips arranged by the hotel use it it is cheaper than if u try to do it by ur self, if u will stay in Kuta stay in Hard Rock
We arrived after midnight, and were really tired and wanted to crash on bed immediately. However, up on lifting the comforter, we found multiple stains on the bed, including one blood stain. This was the most disgusting thing I have found in any hotel stay!
In room jacuzzi (mini pool) Mosquitoes mosquitoes and more mosquitoes
The hotel is absolutely stunning, with modern, tasteful and luxurious finishes. It is connected by frequent tram to its sister resort (Ayana) and to a private beach. It's a little out of the way from Jimbaran itself, and requires an inexpensive taxi ride to and from town. Food at the resort is good but expensive. The spa is astronomically expensive by Bali standards, although it is in line with Western high end resorts. The Rock Bar at the Ayana (for which Rimba guests get priority access) is a lifelong memory (although VERY expensive). The staff are extremely friendly and willing to help. The beach is beautiful. Location is quite convenient to the airport. In the early morning, it was only about a 10-15 ride. Honestly think it was our one-time bad luck, as opposed to a constant problem, but the air conditioning in our room could not be adjusted, even after we called for technicians to come and "fix" it. The temperature in our room hovered between hockey arena and cold-freezer. Made for poor sleep in an otherwise very comfortable room. Also, despite all the attention, the hotel managed to forget about giving us a promised wake up call. Fortunately, I set my own alarm just in case. But if I hadn't, we would have missed our early morning flight. The beach is very beautiful, but it's not for swimming. There are lots of big waves and big rocks, and the red flag is probably out 99% of the time. All in all, despite the shortcomings, I still believe this to be an outstanding hotel. Well worth the money (and priced much cheaper than many hotels that are likely comparable in quality).
All staffs are GST! Greet, smile and thank you! Best resort in Bali. We booked our stay via kayak and when check in, was told by receptionist that breakfast is not included in my package which have been confirmed by agent kayak. I showed them that my booking is inclusive of breakfast, I then emailed to kayak but no response from them till date. Rimba is really nice, after check in, receptionist called and said that the resort will extend breakfast to us for the our stay in Rimba. The staffs at Rimba ensure that whatever request you have will be fulfilled at their best possible. Not that I can think of..
