10.0 Excellent
Pros: Impecable facilities. Clean clean clean. Simple rooms, simple amenities with attention to detail
8.8 Excellent
Pros: So far this trip in Mexico, the staff’s good will has outperformed the facilities by far. Starting with Daniel, the manager and all the ladies that made the best breakfast in Oaxaca each morning (including hand made jams and sauces) I felt welcomed and part of am extended family. It is the first time in 30+ years that the cleaning staff arranged my toiletries to my liking and carefully folded my pajamas and placed it at the head of my bed. Such attention to detail I have never seen not even at 5 star hotels. The absentee owner is lucky to have such a wonderful group of workers.
Cons: In spite of being in a secluded cul de sac, with no traffic, noise traveled across the open courtyard and into my bedroom’s only window. One night there were stray dogs howling a long time, twice, and a rooster crowed several times at dawn, daily. The inner courtyard has an open kitchen with a large breakfast table where most guests congregate. Starting around 6’ish I could hear staff arriving to work (there is only one door used by everyone) then setting the table; early risers and one day a yoga class took place in front of my window along with a loud youtube tutorial on the teacher’s phone. So unfortunately throughout my stay, I never had a good night sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Small, friendly B&B. It is far away from the central Zocolo to avoid the noice and hustle and bustle but still a relatively short walk. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms were on the small side but had plenty of room and closet space. The host, Daniel, spoke excellent English and was very well informed as to where to go and what to do. He arranged for a great taxi driver to take us on a couple of out of town trips. The daily breakfasts were the best part. They consisted of a platter of assorted fruit with granola and yogurt, two pitchers of different types fresh juice, toast and jellies, sweet rolls, endless pots of French press coffee and a hot, local dish made fresh and different every day. Even better than the food (which was wonderful) was the company. We all sat at a communal table in an open air court yard allowing everyone to compare notes on where to go/eat and what to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our fellow guests who came from around the USA, Canada, England and Australia.
Cons: Only complaint was that there are some neighborhood dogs that could be noisy at night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for 3 nights and we really enjoyed the b&b! It was clean, the staff were amazing and you felt very comfortable as soon as you entered this property. Daniel who seems to be at the premises day and night was GREAT! Thank you Daniel for your help with everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Daniel, the host, is exceptional and went out of his way to ensure all the guests' comfort. We VERY much appreciated late check-out on the day we were going hiking for three days and being able to leave our things at the hotel. The breakfasts were plentiful, varied, and delicious. Daniel was very knowledgeable about restaurants, transportation, really anything you might need. A most enjoyable stay and I would definitely return.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The decor. The breakfast. The staff. The friendly guests- it was like staying at a friends house.
Cons: The power shower meant the bathroom floor flooded (1st world problems!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were staying at 10 different hostels in Mexico, this one is definitely the best one ever we stayed in. Daniel is extremely nice and every morning all the time take care of us and did his best for us to have great time in town and even for the rest of our trip. Special thanks to him for being very very very good such a nice welcoming person. On top of this hotel is very comfortable, designed with a consideration on detail and comfort, very clean and very quite. And OMG breakfasts were cooked warm when you wake up and served in their nice garden and they serve different dish everyday. You should consider that in other places which includes breakfast you might have only some small food, fruit and coffee but here you would have fresh juice, fruits, yogurt, local bakeries, eggs in the way you like it and very nice coffee. Women working in kitchen would welcome you with big smiles all the time. I did not meet the owner as he was in a travel, probably he knows and appreciate but Daniel is the biggest reason that I would come back or recommend this place to others. Thanks a lot!
Cons: It was a perfect stay with everything. My best in Mexico.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: That was one of our best hotel experiences ever. Hotel owners, guests, personnel are super nice people. Inside the room everything was designed with love and amazing taste. Breakfast was simply amazing. Tips from Daniel helped us to feel Mexico’s true spirit. Highest recommendations.
Cons: We simply didn’t want to leave. Get ready for this.

8.0 Excellent
Cons: A bit disappointed with the food. I had been dining at several of the city’s best restaurants and had an equally high expectation of the hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The setting, in a restored convent, is incredibly beautifully. There are numerous courtyards filled with citrus stores and flowers. We could always find a peaceful place to sit and enjoy the cool interior. The location is central to everything. We could walk everywhere..to museums, churches, the Zocalo, great restaurants. Very convenient! The staff was incredibly kind and courteous. Everyone we spoke to solved any problem that arose, and we were very content with all the people who work at this hotel. The staff seemed to be very proud of their establish, ent and everything ran smoothly.
Cons: There is no need for the extravagance we witnessed! Changing toilet paper rolls daily, changing bed linens daily, replacing shower curtains and bath rubber mats daily....the property and hotel are exquisite but the amount of water consumed, in a desert climate, is incredibly wasteful! While there are signs everywhere to remind the housekeeper to not change the linens daily, we were shocked by all,the extravagance!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel with so much history. Great service; professional and personable staff.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast (served in three locations) surpassed my expectations. The variety did as well. We travelled from the United States, and the food we had at Quinta Real really opened our eyes.
Cons: Until we opened our window, the room was a little dark. When we opened our window, the room was a little loud considering the local goings on. However, the location is charming, the service is first rate, and we had the choice to keep the window closed. All considered, a first rate experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located, beautiful grounds and pool, large clean room, attentive service- what more could you ask for? My 22 year old daughter didn't want to leave. Neither did I, will certainly return.
Cons: Nada! Great place on quiet street so close to everything

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is filled with beautiful Oaxaca art
Cons: The street outside is unfortunately quite noisy
5.0 Okay
Pros: Cleaning staff were very nice and very helpful and the location was very convenient. It was way overpriced for what you got!
Cons: The front desk staff could have been a bit more helpful, I think. We had a room with no window and no view and no fresh air but was very expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Oerfectly quiet! Lovely room. Birds during the day.
Cons: The rather large glass topped table in room 206, is clumsy and easy to bump into because you cant see it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When you first enter the heavy wrought iron gates off the street, you are greeted by a serene courtyard that is as immaculate as it is colorful. Located a block from the main square (zocalo), you are never far away from stores, restaurants and bars of this charming city. Many streets are closed to traffic, and they are always filled with tourists and families. Every day, all day, I saw workers cleaning walls, railings. The place is spotless. The staff is friendly and always greets you. They have some shared terraces with loungers where we had siestas in the afternoon while listening to the many caged birds’ songs. I was surprised that they had turn down service. Also, more amenities that some of the higher star places we’ve stayed. Beds were comfy with plenty of extra pillows. Shower was spacious. We booked some great trips through the front desk. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Not the fault of the property, but we could hear the pounding disco on the other block, but only Saturday night. The water pressure was weak, also not sure if this is a town-wide problem.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property was very clean and the staff was super helpful. Location is nice - 3 blocks from the Zocalo
Cons: The rooms could be bigger
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful small hotel with lovely features. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, just a few minutes from the Central Square and many attractions. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a wonderful place to land our first night in Oaxaca – central location, clean, beyond kind staff. Our plane was repeatedly delayed getting us in well passed midnight. The team stayed in touch with us and let me add a last minute airport pick-up. They were truly generous. The bright colors and birds chirping and flying in the common areas were a joy, and the restaurant staff at breakfast were super welcoming. Three cheers and thanks!
Cons: Some traditional elements - a tile floor room off a central atrium - meant the room was dark and a bit loud. We definitely got sound coming in right off the hall and ricocheting from other places. It's 100% what we expected from the pictures and nature of this architecture so no complaints here but good for potential guests to consider.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, the friendly atmosphere of the hotel, the open air feeling. The breakfast was lovely.
Cons: The bed was hard and the pillows very full. Would've have preferred a slightly less hard bed and one of the pillows to be more feather and not polyfill.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, lovely rooftop terrace. Lots of character. I have a real objection to plastic one use water bottles and they provided me with a jug that was refilled daily with drinking water. Pleasant staff.
Cons: Nothing really
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the hotel was great. Location was perfect, only a couple blocks from the Zocalo, Very clean and quiet. Bathroom was huge.

Cons: There were mosquitos in our room, but then a gecko snuck in our room and ate the mosquitos.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful find in a great location. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to help. I don’t speak Spanish and they took their time to understand and make sure I had what I needed. The young woman (I wish I had her name) at the front desk saved me when my phone completely died. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Don’t miss the tamale lady! Not fancy but you have everything you need. Beyond the front gates is a beautiful oasis.
Cons: I did not find anything I didn’t like!

Cons: shower not draing well but that easy to solve
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean !! The staff is very welcoming !
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice hotel, nice room with great attached bath room.
Cons: 1. Paying more than 200 USD a night, having breakfast included and needing to decide either fruits or orange juice does not match together. Stingy guys are not good hosts 2. On top are included children not provided with breakfast! Children are only allowed to sleep for free, but not to eat anything! Would not imagine that I ever make such an experience. And making this experience in the generally very family-friendly Mexico disappoints me even more. 2. People are arrogant, not respectful and missing basic bahavior skills 3. Noicy Parties till 4 AM in the morning in the night club of the hotel is good if you are a single guy. But it is definitely not family friendly. Good beds and room can only be enjoyed with a silent atmosphere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, peaceful. Delicious food, including extensive breakfast buffet. Outstanding staff in every department. Clean rooms and property.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service, food and location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast that came with the room consisted of coffee, a variety of bread types, and fruit. You could pay for a more extensive breakfast from the menu, but the room was not cheap, and they could have provided a real breakfast. Also, remarkably, enough, the fruit was not very sweet or ripe.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The position Is perfect to walk in Oaxaca
Cons: The service was terrible, the manager is a rude person, a liar and in bad faith. The room was different from the room that I booked.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were fine. Once we got a room off the main courtyard we were quite pleased. The room with two beds in tucked away behind the courtyard was lovely, private, and spacious. Breakfast was good and nicely presented in the courtyard.
Cons: The rooms around the courtyard are on the main floor only. Your room opens onto the public area directly. These rooms have few or no windows and less privacy. Lacked a dresser in our room. We were able to move after the first night.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location Clean room
Cons: Room was small and dark, the only windows gave on a public path, no privacy unless you close the blinds completely, very noisy both during the day (they were remodelling a room next to ours, with jackhammers... impossible to rest) and at night (noise from room above), service was haphazard (we didn’t get the breakfast vouchers on the first day as announced by receptionist, and on the last day, we ordered a taxi for 9 o’clock, except the receptionist has forgotten to do it). When we did receive the breakfast vouchers, we found out we could not choose between Mexican or continental, Mexican was chosen for us... Hot water took several minutes to arrive (at least 5) and didn’t last long. Extremely poor value for money, more than 250 EUR/night for this is clearly not worth it. Will not visit again.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The courtyard was nice and the wait staff was friendly, especially Juan Carlos. The room was immaculate. The hotel is only 2 blocks from the Zocalo.
Cons: THE SIZE OF THE BED IS MISREPRESENTED! My print out says the bed is extra large. The hotel desk clerk says that it is a Queen Size. IT IS NOT. It´s a Mexican queen size which is much smaller than a US queen size. Their bed was like my parents bed from the 1950´s. I am 6´2" and 230 lbs., not enough room for me and my wife. If you're two big people, don't stay here. There was also only one sitting chair in the room, would have loved two of them. No good reading light at night for ONE person.
5.7 Okay
Cons: shower had very little to now water at some point; water pressure was minimal, if any; hot water takes a good 5 minutes to start working, and then it is impossible to regulate. either you get burnt or freeze.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good, efficiently and promptly served but my one negative is that the coffee was very weak and watery - barely a taste of coffee at all! Not made for those who wanted a real cup of coffee.... Apart from that everything was excellent.
Cons: Everything was excellent.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfiest beds this travel writer's ever slept in. Beautiful courtyard and terrace — loved the private one too.
Cons: Major thing was it was yet another hotel with a WC door that didn't go up (or down) all the way — 12-inch+ gaps at top and bottom made this somewhere I'd never stay with a friend or if I had a family. As it was, my partner and I had to ask each other to step out onto the terrace, where we'd be bitten by mosquitos (Maybe some citronella plants on the terrace for mosquitos). I just don't understand why hotels do this (there's not many couples into hearing each other's bodily functions...). Lobby area very small, nowhere to sit while waiting to check in (courtyard right there but then you might lose your spot in the queue).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved how the property looked, from th front desk to its courtyards... my fave is the cactus plants outside the rooms. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. It was nice to have the toilet and shower separate.
Cons: I can’t really think of any thing terrible about the property.
Azul Cielo Hostel - Oaxaca - Bedroom

8.9 Excellent (610 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Azul Cielo Hostel is centrally located in Oaxaca, a 4-minute walk from Pochote Organic Market and 10 minutes by foot from Oaxaca Textile Museum. Featured amenities include a computer station, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love this hostel!!! It is a little bit off the beating path. It is super clean, the beds are comfortable, great social vibe, great staff and the breakfast is amazing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the breakfast, the kitchen, the ambiance and the staff.
Cons: I really liked Azul Cielo. I had originally booked for 2 nights and was happy with rate for a room with bathroom. When I needed yo cancel one night, however it wouldn't let me rebook the same room so I had to book the most expensive room which was a suite which cost $20 more per night. That's why I didn't check high on "good value" above.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really super nice! The breakfast was good and eating it in the beautiful yard was even better.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Many people here in the reviews complaint about the hostel’s location. I loved the location! It’s a little outside the noisy and touristy streets of the center but everything is walkable and there are some small and lovely shops and restaurants very nearby. Moreover, every detail at this hostel is made with love and the breakfast is really good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this little hostel, and I would not hesitate to come back. Everything was just perfect: the delicious breakfast, the spotless clean room with a super comfortable bed, and the character of the place and communal areas. I must also mention staff - I can't thank them enough for all their help and care. A special thank you to Marty and Fatima for the warm welcome and support throughout our stay!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice welcome after a night bus. Female dorm beds were really comfortable, nice to have privacy curtains and plug/light. Wifi was good in the dorm, pretty quiet at night. I only stayed one night but seemed to be a nice vibe in the hostel. I will stay here again.
Cons: No secure area to store luggage prior to check in. Staff a bit hit and miss, some were friendlier than others.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Provided filtered water, a delicious brekkie and dorm was fresh and airy. The rooftop was great and the general vibe of the hostel was really nice.
Cons: Only two toilets and showers although I rarely waited and never for long. The fourth bunk in the room makes it a little cramped, but not too bad.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is Great!! Clean Facilities!! Spacious room. (We stayed at Roma) Friendly staff (Specially Javier)
Cons: The shower in our bathroom did not work properly so we had it changed! We had some issues with the room lighting but it was also fixed. The safety box is very old so we couldn’t open it. We had it open with a key!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast in charming inner courtyard. Prompt and courtesy service. A very pleasant concierge visited our breakfast table each day to tell us about local events. He was available to make reservations and fix anything we needed right away. Upon our return each afternoon, we were offered complimentary refreshing drinks in the courtyard. We so appreciated the kindness of everyone at the Palacio Borghese
Cons: Not enough drawer space for clothes.
7.0 Good
Pros: Fantastic service - friendly, attentive, personalised. The terrace is good
Cons: The decor is a little dated - and not to everyone's taste
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My favorite hotel in Oaxaca centrally located on a quiet street with a helpful staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great comfort and an oasis of tranquility in the rapidly moving city Breakfast was wonderful as were their ever changing fruit becerages
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is enthusiastic, always offering help, with good recommendations for restaurants & activities. Every morning at breakfast, we were told of events of that day, such as a concert. Our "junior suite" - actually a large room, was bright, with views from the shared terrace of rooftops, mountains, and sunset. The included breakfast was ample & wonderful, and more options were available at extra cost. Location is great, close to museums, shopping, & restaurants, but not adjacent to the noisy zocalo.
Cons: There's weekend noise until very late, from bars, but that may be true of most places in the center. Weekday nights in January were quiet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous hotel with a nostalgic flair. Super friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was unbelievable--nothing was too much trouble. We felt like pampered royalty. The breakfast was delightful--freshly baked breads, fabulous Oaxaca hot chocolate (or coffee of course) , fresh squeezed orange, or green, or carrot juice), and a gorgeous fruit plate. It felt like staying in a mansion with your own staff. HIGHLY recommend.

5.0 Okay
Cons: There was no sign of Management during our 7 day stay. One night we were only 2 guests at the hotel and they left all of the public areas in darkness and only upon request did they turn on the floor lights.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: an oasis of gardens, terraces outside the rooms, very soothing staff was excellent, service rapid chef was excellent and very obliging dining area is in a beautiful setting, covered outdoor gardens fabulous Oaxacan coffee
Cons: Too far from town if you want to spend most of your time in the stores, museums, churches but taxi ride only 100 pesos each way and never much of a wait for a taxi. Remember most taxis do not have seatbelts, AC, and some have no insurance and are not in very good condition. Drivers are always pleasant and drive safely otherwise.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food was wonderful and the property was beautiful.
7.1 Good
Pros: Room was large overlooking mountains Comfortable inside with nice balcony Internet was slow Staffs were helpful
9.2 Excellent

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. The hotel was located within a 2 block walk of the city center so close enough to enjoy yet far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet at night.
Cons: Bathroom was very small, no heating or air conditioning and, while the food was good, the breakfast area was very small and service was slow, one meal at a time judging the size of the kitchen and how long it took to get served after ordering.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: location, comfy beds, beautiful courtyard
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place with a courtyard and a sunset terrace, nice very clean rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very kind a fast service, always here to help you. I highly recommend
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: Woman at desk brusque and unhelpful. Maid bugging me for tips. I'm used to leaving a tip at the end of my stay. The lighting over the sink made the sink look beautiful but made me look like Dracula. Not practical at all for shaving etc. In fact, most everything was for show rather than real hospitality and comfort. And the TV never really worked.
6.0 Good
Pros: Good Location, great view from breakfast area, helpful staff, WiFi worked fine.
Cons: Buggy at night, tiny bathroom, room on lowest level dark and not well ventilated.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Mexican charm with comfort.
Cons: Wish the restaurant /bar was open later. Also staff should advise guests talking /on cellphones in common areas disrupt the tranquility for others trying to sleep. Also suggest a pot of coffee in the am for guests, since no coffee makers or hot water heaters in rooms.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location on the square.
Cons: Arrived on a Sunday, and were treated to wonderful bands playing music in the square. At ten o’clock it was difficult to get some sleep, the music that we enjoyed was now a small problem. The furniture in the room. Very nice, but we would have preferred a more Mexican theme. Great for local Mexicans, but a little disappointing for tourists.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: Hotel band at night too loud and too late
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Had a small balcony that offered a great view of the Zocalo.
Cons: Furnishings a bit dated. Could use some more vibrant Mexican color in the room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: HOT and COLD clean/safe drinking water dispenser on the floor so hot tea or instant coffee easily available (thick glasses provided) any time of day/night, as was noticeably cold water. Comfortable beds with cotton percale sheets; large bedroom and bathroom. 100% cotton bath sheets and linens. Easy walking distance to sites of interest, restaurants and gelato store. Clean, comfortable room with locally-made, updated curtains and bedspreads of high quality. With door and windows open, nice breeze overlooking central square. Friendly cleaning and bell-hop staff; nice and accommodating ladies at the registration desk. It's an older hotel but immaculately clean; working elevators. One has to be aware that retiring early is not the mo for this area of the world, so there will be music nearby; the hotel has window sheers, sound-blocking curtains, and thick decorative curtains to help reduce possible, local, expected musical sounds. Noise was not a problem with our room overlooking the town central plaza, but is something to consider if one must retire early (by 10:00 pm) or has small children; one can request a more interior room.
Cons: Not a drop of hot water for early morning showers 50% of time.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. No problems. Nice and clean. Convenient to Zocalo.
Cons: Everything. No problemsI was just wishing that there had been a small refrigerator in our room to keep some snacks.. Nice and clean. Convenient to Zocalo.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: - fantastic location rught on the zocolo (main square) where evrrything happens & an easy place to meet tour organisers - onsite travel agent who helped us book onwards flights - able to book a tour to mitla on the morning for us - good value breakfast with nice coffee - friendly polite reception staff - free drinking water in large bottles on each floor to reduce plastic waste
Cons: Only a minor point and would not stop us staying again... - noise from the main square (zocolo) but thats what you would expect to be right in the action...

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Shower
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed my stay here so much I extended twice! I thought it was a great value, especially with the included breakfast. Speaking of which, the delicious breakfast buffet changed slightly everyday to not be monotonous, but was always well stocked, except between the holidays, when I was one of just very few guests- they offered to make my breakfast to order! How nice! My room was always cleaned and smelled of detergent when I returned in the afternoon, so I knew it was cleaned professionally to a high standard. The entire staff greeted me with a smile every morning and evenings when I returned. The hotel is in the colonial style so the public/dining area is open but covered. It was an easy walk to the Zocalo downtown area and most sights, yet out of he main tourist areas.
Cons: The WiFi works but is normally a bit weak, which is normal for the area and type of building. The best I could find was one English language TV channel- SyFy Network..! CNN or other international news would’ve been nice to keep up with current events. I didn’t come to Oaxaca to watch TV, though!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything at this hotel was perfect- location, breakfast, staff, etc. The only thing lacking was hot water in the shower, but the other great amenities in the hotel made up for it!
Cons: Lack of hot water in the shower
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast in the garden is very nice and the roof has a good view of the town and relax.
Cons: the bathroom needs some upgrade.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and child and I loved staying at this hotel. We arrived early the morning we were supposed to stay and they let us check in early and when we were leaving they let us leave our bag there so we wouldn't have to lug it all around town. We were very very happy with the service and they went out of their way to make sure we were accommodated. The hotel was also very clean and very classic of Oaxaca. Breakfast was also really good. Beautiful view on the roof of the city.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in a perfect location. Close to Zócalo and Santa Domingo. Staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. There isn’t a pool but they have a rooftop lounge to enjoy the sunshine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was great, staff was lovely! I loved the location everything was a 10 min. walk. The roof top was nice...great view.
Cons: There was no a/c but there were ceiling fans to compensate.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: 5 - 10 minute walk overpass across street in front of airport, and subway station. Very good, full breakfast included. Our room was in the back, very quiet. Grateful to front desk concierge driving me to very inexpensive doctor for stomach bug medicine.
Cons: Our room's windows had no view, in fact painted over. I wasn't used to so much staff in the lobby snatch my luggage the front door, offering us fruit when we're checking in.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice and small familar hotel, the stuff is really friendly and helpful. You can choose your breakfast option. The fruits with granola really good. Clean and Good location also in walking distances to to the museum of bell artes and zocalo if you like walking and it’s safe. The metro is very close 50 meter and the metrobus 100 meters. Nice terrace.
Cons: Our room was a little bit small but okay. Mostly your are there for sleeping. And sometimes is a bit noisy in the morning if you are a long sleeper take some earplugs just in case. In the nighttime there are some prostitutes in the area, when we arrived it was very late and we were a bit afraid but in total it is safe.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, clean and friendly. Breakfasts were good and copious. Staff very helpful and friendly.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice and friendly and the food was good
Cons: The rooms did not have windows

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room cleaned everyday, nice patio in the back, nice breakfast, hot water in the shower, although you have to wait for it to come for ages
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was great, next to a beautiful park and close to the bus station.
Cons: The dorm was the weirdest dorm I've stayed in (of 200+ hostels). It's dark, with no outside-facing windows, and was inhabited by two very old men (like, no judgment, but I'm used to hostels being full of backpackers / travelers, not a white-haired old man who went to bed at 8 p.m. and another guy who snored like my grandpa at decibels previously thought impossible). We ended up switching to a private room halfway through the night because we could not sleep, and when we went back up to get our stuff, another guy had moved into my bed, which was strange. And then they charged us for two nights, which was unfortunate. And the bathroom's water pressure definitely left something to be desired. And the breakfast was pretty paltry—white bread and Fruit Loops, with watery eggs and old tortillas.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was good, location is good because its very close to the bus station and also relatively close to the centro historico. Very good value for money!
Cons: The room was a bit dark and hot.
7.1 Good
Pros: It's an amazing location, a few minutes' walk from the busstation and right across an amazing park. It's a great location in the historic centre.
Cons: To my tastes, there wasn't a lot of atmosphere in the hostel. I found it to be a bit dark and heavy, literally. Not a lot of light in the reception area and heavy, bulky furniture. It's a functional hostel, but that's it. No extras. Granted, I arrived sick and stayed sick during my stay there so that might have influenced my perceptions, but I remain of the opinion that it didn't have a lot going for it in terms of atmosphere.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast was okay and nice location.
Cons: Dark and dingy, receptionist try to short change me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: N / A
