Cons: The bathroom was beautiful but not spotless (towel with stain on, hair on shower wall).

Pros: They’ve created an unbelievably cool vibe. The “lounging area” has music playing 24/7, a slide surrounded by grandstands and many creative areas to chill and socialize. Signs reading “smile at strangers”, “be the reason somebody smiles today” and other funny, vibey signs. The rooms are compact but creatively designed and comfortable. The staff are incredible. So helpful (even fixed my scooter) and informative (even prepared an itinerary of things to do). Although I left well after check out time, nobody said anything and there were no penalties. I would not hesitate to go there again. And again. And again............

Pros: The staff were friendly and courteous

Cons: The room was very warm and the only ventilation the balcony door. Difficult to keep open when wind blowing. Also no restaurant in hotel for dinner.

Pros: We liked the style, the layout of the extra large rooms to give privacy for families, the downstairs recreation areas, the friendly staff and the ease of wi-fi set-up. All in a great location between the beach and the parking.

Cons: Nothing except that the room was not 100% clean when we entered but it was only some details

Pros: Everything. Great room, great breakfast and fantastic staff. Easy overnight parking and 20min drop off outside the hotel. Excellent location with everything an easy walk away.

Cons: Very poor noise insulation in the rooms. The single room is extremely small (approx 3*2m), but the bathroom is nice and practical. I wouldn't recommend if you expect to spend some extra time in your room.

Pros: The room we booked was a good size. We were at the top and had a terrace. The room was a bit warm but it is summer. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price and quite good. Parking in the street was fine. You have to pay 3 euros for 4 hours until 8pm when ti is free until 9am the next day.

Cons: Some of the furniture in the room was excellent like the two soft chairs but the sofa and the desk were not. The desk was not really practical. The carpet and curtains in the room seemed to have some dust and perhaps they need to freshen those up.

Pros: The place was very clean, good breakfast. Everywhere we went a nice, fresh scent welcomed us. The bathroom was really modern. Vey good wifi for work. Friendly staff

Cons: We came into our room, room 35 and it was really(!!) small. The pictures all show a nice romantic bed but that wasnt the case. We were very dissapointed at first, but the cleanliness and hygiene of the place made up for it. The location could be better, no free or available parking space nearby. Door closes at midnight

Pros: Great location. It was very hot weather and though there’s no air conditioning in the rooms, there was a tiny fan provided. The bathroom was very modern and great. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: With the hot weather and no air conditioning in the hotel, it was quite hot in the breakfast room. The mattress in the single room I stayed in was much too soft. Never had one that soft in a hotel. Seriously did my back in unfortunately. However, maybe they are better in the other rooms. Earplugs were a good thing to have, as my room was street side and in the very early morning you heard the bins being picked up and the seagulls are a nuisance when trying to sleep.

Cons: I was under the impression that there was a private parking? Since it did state parking provided at the time of booking? But after making the booking found out that you have to pay 17 Euro for 1 day from 1PM till 1PM the next following day............... Meaning if you plan to stay one week by car be prepared for a hefty parking bill.............. Parking space provided is within walking distance from the hotel in a public underground parking. And that for me was quite a down point to be honest.

Pros: It was a lovely experience at this hotel it was nice and clean and the staff were friendly

Cons: The room did not have a safe or a fridge. For the money that was perhaps to be expected but my friends who booked at the same time had a fridge. The room did not have a phone and when I queried this I was told that no rooms had phones and that the management had taken the phones out. As a female single traveller I did not feel safe and secure in view of this. Everything else was fab but the phone situation may well put me off staying here again.

Pros: Breakfast was ok, location is good and the room is comfortable.

Cons: In the day of the check-in, before my arrival at the hotel they tried to charge in my credit card the value of the stay when in my reservation was saying that the payment would be done in the hotel upon my arrival. Right after that (before my arrival), the hotel called saying that if I didn't arrive by 19h they would cancel my reservation. That makes no sense at all. Was very disappointed with their approach, and made a complaint about it once I arrived in the hotel. Another thing that happened was on the morning of the check-out, I don't know why but they though that we have checked out and entered the room while we were there. Again complaint in the reception. In general, did not like the service.

Pros: The most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in ! A little jewel of a hotel, right on the edge of 'downtown' Ostend. Didn't have any outstanding character or personality, but was very small, very clean, economical and might perhaps suit a business traveller rather than for a family on a week's seaside holiday.

Cons: Nothing. It suited our purposes perfectly.

Pros: Positive aspect about the hotel location: the property is very near to the beach. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons: Negative aspect about the hotel location: the street is very noisy at night. The room rates are very overpriced given the facilities, the comfort and the services we got.

Pros: Did not eat Breakfast at Hotel but from observation it looked fine. The location was excellent, close to the sea front, close to centre of town, restaurants and bars. ten minutes walk to train station. The room was fine, the bathroom excellent. (as I get older that is increasingly important!)

Cons: It is a minor gripe, particularly as two of the days we were there were the hottest of the year, air conditioning would have been nice.

Cons: The fact that some people were stupid and moved chairs to sit in the cut off area of the restaurant. Tables had not been set up for breakfast, so it was really obvious that this area was not to be used. Even after being told, they did not move.

Pros: Nice Hotel, been there a few times. Nice friendly staff, very helpful. Hotel very clean, good food. We were there for a few days when the weather was very hot, so we had a few issues with hot room as there is no aircon. But we knew this so no problem, not usually this hot there

Pros: The room was very clean and spacious.The bed was very comfortable The only downside was the bunk beds in the room and very unsightly. A good place to stay all the staff are very friendly .

Pros: Basic but stylishly furnished room. Very functional bathroom with walk-in shower and supplies such as a hairdryer. An ideal location: shopping, beach, public transport all close by. Very well-cared for breakfast in an authentic art-déco room with enough space for a quiet breakfast at ease. Friendly, very efficient professional reception desk. With its competitive price, this hotel offers more than value for money and can therefore be listed as a come back address.

Pros: The location was awesome and very close to the beach, train station, and shopping / restaurant areas. I also enjoyed the service - check and check out were efficient and the managers were very helpful.

Cons: The breakfast was above average and could have used a little more variety. But all the food was fresh and tasty. Sea birds woke me up earlier than I wanted to, but the hotel couldn't do anything about that.

Cons: When I checked out at 10am, because I wanted to spend 2 hours at the beach (at 100m), and asked the staff to keep my small luggage with laptop, this wasn't possible. They said I could make use of the lockers at the station (at 1km). Never in my whole live I stayed in an hotel where they refused to put my small luggage safe away!!!

Pros: The people were all really friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean and they offered earplugs in case you found the late pub goers too noisy. The hotel is ideally located between the city centre and the beach. There are public parking spaces close by.

Cons: Parking was 15€ a day so no free parking. Some Furniture a bit tired in rooms but very clean and modern down stairs area.
