Loved the daisy club & staff, my 3 year old was in love with them all. Food was fab, staff could not be more helpful, it’s a lovely resort
Please heat the pools not just the children’s pools?! A junior suite could have 2 double beds rather than a huge king sized bed & a pull out
It started well but due to the Coronvirus outbreak and the complete shut down in Spain the hotel went into lock down. We appreciate this was not the hotels fault but the staff were very rude and not at all helpful at this very distressing time, this was uncalled for and VERY disappointing. Staff did not even inform us of the option of upgrading to all inclusive and we were advised that if we wanted lunch (a buffet lunch as all the restaurants had shut in the hotel) it would cost us 30 euros, each which is disgraceful considering the circumstances, some thoughtfulness would have been really appreciated in the unprecedented situation.
The staff and management - very unhelpful and rude
Place looks fantastic from the outside. Spectacular foyer. Very clean premises, despite the tendency of some guests to dump drinking glasses, bottles and rubbish in some of the social areas at night to be cleaned up by the staff. Staff were friendly and informative. Very large main swimming pool with a heated smaller pool near by. A quite nice choice of Bars around the site. Plentiful food with a decent selection of choice. Nice games room. On seafront with easy access. Good, punctual public transport system from front of Hotel.
Room was small and overcrowded with furniture. Emphasis from the start was that we should pay even MORE money for an upgrade/membership to go from 1/2 board to all inclusive, to be given a 'proper'(my choice of word) room and access to the more 'exclusive' bars, restaurants and facilities. Being 1/2 board meant signing slips of paper to validate any drinks or snacks that you purchased. Feeding times at the buffet were at times chaotic due to too many people trying to get fed. Location was at the far end of the tourist area which meant a long walk to reach any alternative eating, drinking or entertainment venues. Confusing layout of site/compound with many walkways and levels.
Food was very good. Price was reasonable. Decent A.C. temperature which I finds aids sleep.
Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel - 4 Star more accurate. Nice welcome Orange Juice at reception until I tasted it and realise it came out of a caton. I would expect Freshly Squeezed as a 5 Star!!!!!! Hotel was built in the 80's and they need to upgrade A.C. to allow remote control. One had to get out of bed to adjust!! Some pools not heated. My room was small - yet again if it was a 4 Star - I would not mention this. Admittedly, I did pay a 4 Star room rate.
This hotel is absolutely stunning. It was more than we expected, the online pictures don't do it justice. The staff were very friendly and professional.
