Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nice location between Manuel Antonio and heart of Quepos, staff provided excellent service, great breakfast, art gallery on site, swimming pool, large room and kitchenette area, room viewing to forest and sounds. Fabulous!
Cons: We were here during Costa Rican Holiday so the road was busy on entrance side and felt a little precarious to back out.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Someone even helped us to take out a big lezard from our room.
Cons: nothing

Pros: The location was great the staff very friendly and kind breakfast was great and the hotel was a pleasant place to stay.
Cons: I didn’t like that the sink in the kitchen had a terrible leak we couldn’t use the sink without the water spilling all over the floor
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The pool and outdoor areas were beautiful. The room was large with a nice balcony. The breakfast was cooked to order and excellent. Location was about halfway between Manual Antonio and Quepos.
Cons: Parking and road access was difficult because of road traffic and curves.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff, the facilities, the pools, the breakfast... well I LOVED everything when it came to our stay. I was excited about this but unsure how it could of been better... maybe a bath tub? but honestly that didn't matter with those two huge pools.
Cons: Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing...

Excellent 10.0
Pros: love love love the beautiful room, the pools and the staff are excellent!
Cons: nothing- we will always stay at the Makanda when we come to Manuel Antonio!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: this hotel is amazing! the rooms are gorgeous! the view is amazing!! the food is great!! and the stuff are so kind and nice!! we had the best honeymoon thank to Makanda hotel! we will be back!!
Okay 5.0
Pros: Food was outstanding as well as staff.
Cons: No tv, virtually no internet, no lights going to room in dark and a nightmare if it rains as floors and hills slippery as well as steep
Okay 5.6
Looks better than it actually is. Design quite cheap, staff not trained well. Location and pools are nice
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Pictures don't do it justice. Book this resort you won't regret it. Views are amazing. Staff was incredible. Anything you needed they made happen. They are on time with everything and there to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The resort was really breathtaking. We had breakfast with monkeys and sloths would hang out in the trees in the afternoon while we took a dip in the pool. The villa itself was a smart house and extremely clean. Even staying in the rainforest you would think there would be a fair amount of bugs. Maybe one or two outside but never saw one inside the villa. That tells you how thorough their cleaning team is. Between Management (Leo & Jenner) and the crew/waitstaff (Andreas!) this resort is top notch. No complaints whatsoever, just wish we got to stay longer. Would 100% visit Makanda again.
Cons: Nothing to complain about. We didn't have Wi-Fi for a day or two in the villa but management made every effort to restore it and even replaced the router and ran new cables to our villa. The villa is very secluded and private so I can see why when the internet goes out it's complicated. We appreciated all their efforts. They even sent a brand new Bose speaker system for us while they fixed the internet issues.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The style of the place
Cons: Me and my wife didn’t like the food at the hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: What a wonderful stay we had! Beautiful place! Great stuff and very high level of service. One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever seen. Amazing breakfast! Great pools and private beach.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: My lady and I loved just about everything about this place. Gorgeous setting and location. The staff are friendly and helpful and great. We felt really taken care of. The adults only, lush jungle location, beautiful views over the jungle to the ocean and how beautifully and tastefully decorated the whole place is made for a sensual and sexy atmosphere. We stayed in a couple of different rooms and each was fabulous. Beautifully decorated. As was the entire hotel site. And the occasional visit by the local Capuchin monkeys, both the slightly larger more well known black with white faces ones and the even more adorable and sweet natured brown tufted ones was icing on the cake for animal lovers like my lady and I💕
Cons: The food was good but not great, small portions, and overpriced.
Excellent 10.0
We stayed in a studio room at Makanda for just 2 days to spent our short romantic anniversary date. The view was ravishing. It was exceptionally private in which something that was difficult to discover at other hotels. The breakfasts are the finest as they served it in your room. Its a nice feeling to have a romantic breakfast in bed. They have a relaxing jacuzzi and lovely facilities. We really enjoyed our stay here in Makanda.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful views. The pool was amazing. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. There were many great restaurants nearby. The marina was great for food

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The property is build into the jungle. we stayed in a Bungalow and felt like we had a lot of privacy because of all the trees etc. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff were great, friendly and happy! would definitely come back to stay here!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location is excellent as it’s close to everything- walking distance to restaurants and bars, a very short bus ride to the National park and the bus to Quepos is a few steps away. The pool looking into the jungle is just fantastic. We saw quite a lot of animals including squirrel monkeys right next to our room, iguanas, frogs, agouti, lizards… Our room on the second floor was very spacious. A really lovely touch was the honeymoon welcome of swan towels, petals on the bed and a small bottle of decent wine, we are grateful! The barman works very hard, is always smiling and keen to say hello and help with drinks. However the person who stood out most was the lovely blonde Alejandra on reception. She goes out of her way to make a connection, her English is excellent, she’s informative and she’s extremely personable. She is such an asset to the hotel.
Cons: The hotel is extremely good value for money given it’s location so I say the rest nitpicking. The restaurant is somewhat dated, hot breakfast options are only 3, the pool area could do with more loungers and feels a bit sparse at the end where you get into the pool.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: lovely property. good location close to town, though hills are quite steep if walking. super-hospitable staff who are ultra-COVID safe. great beds and our best breakfast so dar in CR. can’t recommend highly enough. Alexandra on reception is fantastic
Cons: Totally non-smoking on the property and no designated smoking area. Not even an ashtray outside in the parking lot, so if you smoke you’ll feel like a bit of a pariah.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful courtyard, lots of trees, monkeys, aras and other animals. Beautifully decorated rooms. Good restaurant. Very friendly staff.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Yami was amazing setting up our group, the hotel, staff, and food were all incredible. Great choice for our group stay in Manuel Antonio
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff, the hotel, the food and beverage, overall cleanliness. simply amazing!!!
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We absolutely loved this place. It's a hidden gem, beautiful, quiet and so close to Manuel Antonio park. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we felt very relaxed and cared for. The breakfast was delicious with choices of local or continental foods.
Cons: We liked all of it!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff was nice and accommodating. Location was close to bus stop and restaurants. Beautiful grounds, well kept.
Cons: We stayed in the apartment. Washer and dryer did not work, however, staff agreed to wash our clothes for us.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: 24/24 swimming pool! Very beautiful place. Close to the Manuel Antonio park entry, you can go walking The cocktails are good
Cons: The breakfast could be more generous
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very accommodating, I was sick on arrival and they allowed me to check in really early to rest.
Cons: TV didn’t work, but didn’t need it.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The resort area was amazing. Staff went above and beyond for my boyfriends birthday! the service was unmatched and the view was stellar!!
Cons: Google maps does not no where this spot is! DO NOT have avoid tolls in any GPS system or you will be SOL! It took us double the time to get to property and we had to go all the way back to square one to figure it out! Also the booth agent looked at us like we were idiots when we asked to go through the gate to get to our bungalow. He tried to make us park across the street.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: My husband and I came here two nights for part of our two week honeymoon. We loved all of the staff here. Our concierge, Orlando, was so welcoming and helpful. We absolutely loved the black sand beach and actually had it to ourselves for awhile one day. David and the beach crew was also very nice! You can order lunch and snacks right to the beach, again a nice perk! We had a couples massages too which was by far the best massage we have ever had! Our room overlooked the garden and ocean- we will be back!
Cons: There was not a whole lot of food options right on the property. But, we were able to find nice traditional Costa Rican food outside of the property!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The best place ever. The most relaxing vacation ever.
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was perfect besides that nothing opened for breakfast until 7
Good 6.0
Pros: Wildlife around the property.
Cons: Private beach was underwhelming. Pools were also underwhelming given price.
Excellent 10.0
We stayed in the Bamboo Villas and could not be happier with our stay! The service that we received from Brian was some of the best service that we have ever received & we are world travelers. The wildlife on the property is just stunning. Monkeys, sloths, macaws, toucans, agoutis and the list go on and on. The room itself has 3 levels & the views of the ocean and jungle are unbeatable! The beach is completely secluded & very isolated just for hotel guests for the most part. We had dinner on the beach that Brian arranged for us and it was truly one of the best dinners that we have ever had! The only negative is to get around the resort, there is endless walking up and down rather sizable hills. They do have a shuttle to take you around the property, but we there to always be at least a 15 minute wait for the shuttle and sometimes up to 30 minutes. Overall, this slight negative of all the walking was so worth it to experience the ambiance of this one of a kind property. Also, don't forget to take the sloth tour which is only available for hotel guests. Continue giving guest the great service that you provide.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: location is outstanding with a great view of the ocean
Cons: no extra facilities like a gym or spa
Excellent 10.0
Pros: gorgeous
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wonderful hotel with incredible view. Hotel staff so friendly and help us with any issue. Clean rooms with good quality furniture made our stays comfortable. The glass wall in the room and big balcony allow to admire unbelievable sunrises above Great Pacific Ocean. Food and serves in the restaurant keep good level. Very good location. Beautiful pool bar with reach drinks assortment. Highly recommended!
Cons: Hot tub was not working. Modest breakfast menu.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The pool, the views, the comfy bed. there were sloths, monkeys and all kinds of birds around, so u basically dont need to go to a park. u can stay at the pool chilling, surrounded by nature
Cons: wifi im the room did not really work
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The view was excellent. Christian the waiter at the restaurant has excellent customer service.
Cons: No
Excellent 10.0
Pros: One million dollar view. Very attentive staff. This stay was the pearl of our trip.
Excellent 10.0
there was not a thing I could complain about. the only thing I would suggest if you can make Rm 13 more visible and easier to find!
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Incredible views of the area especially at sunrise and sunset. Helpful and accommodating staff. Included shuttle is very helpful to get to beach and I especially appreciated how our shuttle driver brought us right to the park entrance (went a bit further on the road from the beach drop off).
Cons: Restaurant was a bit overpriced for dinner for food that was not very flavorful, however the included breakfast was excellent. Had many difficulties booking and paying through website, though was able to resolve by fax reservation.
Good 6.8
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Close to activities & great ocean views
Cons: Beds are horrible. Old & no box springs. Seven nights was almost unbearable. Ant's in the room. Overpriced for the supposed best hotel in town.
Good 6.8
Pros: The view is incredible, the rooms/beds are comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. Falafel Bar across the street had great food too.
Cons: Some of the staff were rude and came off pretentious. This is especially annoying when you're on vacation and just want to let loose. TOO MANY KIDS. They pretty much took up the entire pool, were loud and spent all day there. I didn't have a moment to enjoy it until I went after 10pm. DO NOT GO TO FRED'S next door. We stepped in for a minute to check it out and the guy immediately hollered at us from across the place that we had to spend at least $10 or we had to leave. Um bye. The Wi-Fi also went down for an entire day, for the price you pay to stay here this was unacceptable.

Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nice garden.
Cons: This place is just next to a highway. You can hear the huge trucks the whole night. Just terrible. Internet is unstable with many blind spots in the property.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Beautiful garden like setting with perfect plants and maintenance. Outdoor restaurants offer fine dining experience. Rooms are clean and serviced every day.
Cons: The name is misleading. It is located by the busy highway with constant noise day and night. More like a garden by the freeway resort. No coffee pot in the room or even a glass to drink some water at night. I expect to have more these things at this price range.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We loved the surrounding nature and landscape, the pool, and zip lining was amazing!
Cons: We didn’t get what the room was being advertised for (two queen beds instead of two king beds) and there was enough space to add a small folding bed but they couldn’t provide that.
Good 7.0
Pros: Nice grounds. We were only there to sleep en route to Drake Bay. Excellent Caprese salad, even though the tomato was a bit unripe.
Cons: The Arroz con Pollo ( chicken with rice) a typical Cost Rican dish was poor and had hardly any chicken in it. Also, there was no water glasses in the room so no way to take a drink except from the tap.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: everything: the view, the staff and the nature
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It is really clean, excellent attention, the nature is awesome
Cons: The hotel is near from highway.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Piscina
Cons: La internet fatal.
Excellent 9.6
Amazing place! Very pastoral, we enjoyed from every moment!!!! Very recommended ♥️
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazingly clean. Staff are exceptional and obviously well trained. The room we were assigned was spacious, the bed was firm and the selection of pillows satisfied our preferences. The property, the gardens and on site trails are marvellous.
Cons: Likely everyone will comment on the road noise. It is evident but is easily overcome when you consider the amenities La Fortuna offers. Frankly I can’t imagine a place CR that will provide a completely soundproof experience.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The place is really nice but a bit hard to get to - there is a 4 km ride off-road. The rooms are big and there is free breakfast.
Cons: Getting there was difficult even in a car, and the shower window had no curtains which was a bit weird
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I really liked the authentic location of Blue Banyan - located off the beaten path, outside of town, and in the rainforest. The owner, Chip, is available and interesting to talk with. Friendly staff and interns. Love that it is connected with Kids Saving the Rainforest and tours are on-site.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was super large, clean, and felt like a spa. Hi he property was well-kept and beautiful. The pool was great!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff and Chip (owner) made my family and I feel completely at home. The place was a perfect place away from the hustle and bustle of Manual Antonio but also so close, only like 20 minutes away. The food was perfect and plentiful. Our 2 y/o son had a WONDERFUL time as well, 1000% recommend!
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 9.0
Pros: I liked how clean the room was. It was very comfortable. I loved the cocktails during the happy hour and the restaurant was lovely.
Cons: I did not like that our room did not have much natural light so it was pretty dark. You could sleep until noon without realizing it is already mid-day. Parking might be a bit inconvenient
Excellent 9.0
Pros: location close to Manuel Antonio park , good food at reasonable price, hotel landscape preserves the natural environment.
Cons: Our room smelled of paint thinner. Doorstop device on floor in front of dresser in our room ( none in our friends’ room) is a “break your toe” hazard. A device needs to be placed on the wall instead. Curtain in our room didn’t work well. Elevator out of order.
Good 7.0
Pros: Closeness to the beach
Cons: Parking horrible. You have to contact front desk to enter or exit garage Breakfast is strictly Tico style and that gets old after 1 morn The hotel is very dated and needs modern upgrades, such as new beds, new decor, and an elevator that works. As with most resort/motels in Costa Rica, the septic system is based on 80 yr old technology. Poo paper is put in the garbage can next to the toilet. Not very attractive..
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: nature.
Cons: humid smelly rooms. bad quality sheets.

Pros: The grounds were STUNNING, free/secure parking on-site, great location but you do have to drive to get to downtown area. Free breakfast included (limited menu) but it would have been nice to have more of the additional meal options included & not be an added cost.
Cons: No complaints!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: beautiful property and great amenities
Cons: nothing

Good 7.0
Pros: Lovely staff. Lovely pool. clean spacious rooms.
Cons: all good
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room was large and clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. There are monkeys in the area, a lot of fun watching them from the pool! It was 100m from the main road with little traffic, so it was also a safe place for the kids to play.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everthing was perfect. The hotel upgrade us for free to a large room. Our childs like the pool. The breakfast was great. The host was generous and charming. Help us plan hiking itineraries.we sure get back again.
Cons: הכול היה מושלם.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very comfortable villas with large areas, including two bedrooms and common areas. Better than pictures. Leti is the best, always ready to help. Don’t hesitate to book.
Cons: A bit difficult to find. Make sure you ask for directions in detail.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The villa I stayed at was big, clean and very nice ! The staff was very friendly ! Breakfast was a nice size and good !
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Clean, loved the pool and food, stuff was amazing
Cons: It was really hot during daytime, no ceiling insulation
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice warm pool, nice and good size apartment with functional kitchen, hammoc and patio. Staff very friendly and helpful. Price is good. Free parking. We should have stayed longer!!
Cons: Nothing to improve for me.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: We LOVED our stay at Villa Mymosa. Our unit was huge, with a kitchen with all the utensils needed to cook meals & a full-sized fridge/freezer so we could even have ice cream. The pool was the perfect temperature & with only 10 units, it was never crowded. The staff were all friendly & helpful, but our favorite was the owner's dog, Meg. So nice to have a furry head to pet when missing our own! Villa Mymosa is set a little above town, so you feel separated from the hustle of Quepos. And the monkeys! We saw tons of capuchins, partly because the owner directed us to where they would be during breakfast. How can you complain about a place that has a morning monkey travel report? Great stay, highly recommend.
Cons: No complaints!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our stay was just amazing! The location, the park, the room and the people are simply the best! It was a dream having breakfast and dinner with the spectacular view and the team went out their way to help us with activity planning. The room is soundproof, cosy and really well equipped. The swimming pool is nice in size and very clean. The restaurent was excellent (especially the cevice!). Finally and formost, the all team never esitated to go the extra mile to make our stay really special. Bonus: the work they do with the scarlet macaw conservation is really insteresting, make sure to take advantage of the included tour they offer to learn more about their work and the bird itself. Un agradecimiento especial a Andrés, Aldo, Marcos y Kreschni que hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera aún más especial con su impecable servicio. ¡Muchas gracias!
Cons: Nothing :)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owner and staff take great pride in the facility and provide excellent service. It exceeded our expectations.
Cons: Nothing to not like
Excellent 10.0
Pros: uniq stay close to manuel antunio great pool cool reserve you can see animals in the hotel a great restaurant and the view from the restaurant is very pretty
Cons: not very noise isolated room
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Our stay in Gaia hotel was amazing! We booked this hotel because of its breathtaking restaurant views and the beautiful pool scenery, but from this point it only got better!! Besides the rooms being spacious, clean, and very comfortable, the spa therapists gave us the best deep tissue massage ever!! If you decide to stay in this hotel, I will definitely recommend this experience… it’s totally worth it! However, what I would highlight the most and what I think what makes GAIA a truly 5 star-hotel is the service. Every single member of the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, ready to go all the way to make you feel as comfortable as possible. When I come back to Costa Rica, I will definitely stay here again!!

Good 6.0
Pros: I was supposed to stay 3 nights but because I did not like location of the hotel. Ocean front but no access to beach unless you take un lancha a 2-3 km from there. they agreed to reimbursed 2 nights and I continued with my travel. Also had a problem with the reimbursement of a deposit for the key of the safe deposit. all resolved by the staff in 3-5 business days. Thanks a lot to them.
Cons: This is personal but no access to beach but if you like going to casino, it is part of the hotel
Excellent 8.0
Pros: location and ease of getting around. across from the ocean.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: N
Cons: Almost everything
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location
Cons: Perhaps a little noisy. Locals get together in the Main Street until late night on saturday
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfy beds, coffee machine, breakfast included
Cons: The room was a bit loud and there were some bugs in the carpet
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great hotel for the night
Excellent 9.6
Spent 3 nights in late August there. Everything was as expected from a Best Western. Clean facilities, nice English speaking staff, good breakfast, perfect location. The wifi was unstable though.
Good 7.0
Pros: The location in Quepos was very convenient and above an ice cream shop, across from a supermarket and lots of restaurants, local shops and 1 block from the bus station.
Cons: The food at breakfast was very basic and limited.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: This hotel gets high marks from out while family. We had three rooms for two days for six adults and two very young children (11months old and 3 years old). The staff is outstanding from the front desk to the cleaning staff everyone made our stay very pleasant. The rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable. The only issues we had were lack of hot water early the first morning and very noisy the first night due to football celebrations everywhere around the hotel (the rooms are not soundproof in any way). They offer secure parking about two blocks away but there is pleanty of on street parking for loading and unloading and parking long term if you want. We really loved the food in the on site Resturant and the ice cream parlor just outside the hotel. It was very close to Manuel Antonio National Park and beach. Which is where we spent a lot of our time. They also help arrange tours if you want them and several in our group went on the mangrove tour. Beautiful location, fantastic sunsets. We really loved our trip.
Good 6.8
Pros: Location down town Friendly staff who are eager to assist
Cons: Internet is very patchy Parking is away from the hotel and very tight, resulting in my car scratched by another.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The room was huge with 2 king beds. There are 3 of us so the size was great. The people were great, as are most Costa Ricans.
Cons: Beds were hard. There is no direct access to the ocean, across the street.

Pros: It’s a short walk to bus terminal, supermarkets and eateries.
Cons: None
Excellent 10.0
Pros: love to have always coffee and fruits nice people and pool
Cons: parking should be connected to hotelfrom the inside
Excellent 8.0
Pros: No complaints really nice stay
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice traditional free breakfast of rice, beans, fried or scrambled eggs, and toast with butter and jam. The pool was the perfect temperature and the property is not crowded. It has a friendly feel and the staff helped us keep our rental vehicle safe in its private and secure parking lot. It is a super value for a downtown location that doesn't seem great, but the property is excellent and the service still better. We loved it and the 24 hour bakery across the street that had great treats and breads. In Costa Rica where so many things seem mismanaged in one way or another, the Hotel Serenity is an oasis.
Cons: It sits downtown in an area of foot traffic which can seem sketchy, but we never felt threatened. It is an older property and not a 5 star property...that being said, you are spending a third or less the money you would in a brand name hotel, and getting people who recognize you and care.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was in a very calm environment, but also near the park. We could see as much animals as in the manuel antonio park, also very chill staff
Cons: The entrance to the hotel is a little hard, since its in a pending part of the route, but nothing to get stressed
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Hotel was very clean, every day cleaning lady come to our room and make a bad, clean the bathroom. Hotel has very big swimming pool.
Cons: I didn't have internet in my room only on terrace. Furniture is quite old.
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: The room was very old and dated and not very clean. There was mold and mildew in the bathroom and in the room. The room conditions were not great.
Okay 4.2
Cons: The manager and his friends were drunk all the time - no matter if it was late at night, or early in the morning. We could smell the alcohol off their breath a few feet away. He was also very rude, and needs a course in hospitality

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Hotel Mimos is beautiful. The pools, landscaping, terraces and restaurant were the perfect place to hang out, enjoy the amazing happy hour drinks, and live the Pura Vida. It was so nice to wake up and just step outside to hot coffee and fresh squeezed juice. The breakfasts were delicious, made to order, and huge portions. Appetizers and dinner were amazing - the Mama Mia Pasta was full of fresh seafood with a smooth, buttery sauce. The chef is the nicest, hardest working guy. He invited one of our party (after discussing types of fish) to “help him” cook her fish and make patacones. The location of Hotel Mimos is perfect - on the bus line and easy to get to both Quepos and Manuel Antonio. We saw a pair of red macaws just across the street, a toucan and parrots near the pool, and a couple iguanas. When we checked in, they gave us a room that had beds to sleep all 6 of us (in one large room) with a balcony and a bathroom. We asked if there were large rooms with any other layouts, and they allowed us to switch (with no extra charge) to a multi-room unit with a king bed in one room, a full/twin bunk and a twin in another room, and a twin bed on the porch. There was plenty of storage space (closets with shelves) for our things and the rooms were bright, clean, spacious and comfortable with lots of pillows and air conditioning. We were there for three days and it started to feel like home. It was hard to leave.
Cons: The road noise can get a little loud at times if you have a room on that side or if you sit near that side of the restaurant.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Outside of the room it is beautiful!
Cons: The room lacked a little comfort. No trash can, table or chair in the room. From within the bathroom, you could hear everything from the next door bathroom.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The receptionist staff was extremely helpful and friendly, we ended up staying another night and they honoured our 1st nights price and the housekeeper cleans everyday and gives you fresh towels which was nice. Free breakfast, several pools to swim in and a heated one. Restaurant on site and next to a grocery store. Lots of excursions that they help you with and the bus stop is next door. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Has a water station
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great stay, confortable, clean and well located...
Cons: Decoration of rooms could be less intense, and missing an iron and a small fridge inside the room. Since kitchen closes at 10.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The room was good.
Cons: Breakfast was soso
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Flexibility of staff in terms of using the pool after check out. The pools were very nice and deep.
Cons: Rooms can be prettier.
Okay 4.6
Pros: Location
Cons: Room was inside, no blankets, no closet, dirty sheets
Okay 5.7
Pros: The staff was very friendly The rooms are quite spacious
Cons: An iguana was making a neat on top of my ceiling tiles and kept me up all night. The rooms are dark - they hardly get any natural light and have very few and very dim lights. Breakfast fruit helpings were very small (literally an inch of papaya, two slices of banana, and a triangle of watermelon)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We originally booked a standard room for two nights. When we arrived, we were told that we were upgraded to a deluxe room for the same price. By the end of the second day, we were not yet tired of the beach and found the staff so helpful that we decided to stay an extra night. We even got to stay in the same room for the same price! The place really has it all, except an ocean view; it has nice rooms, a good restaurant, and a pool.
Cons: Like most restaurants in the area, the food costs more than it seems like it should. That being said, it is easy (and cheap) to get on the bus to go to Quepos to frequent a "soda."

Pros: Good hotel, I didn’t have problem to find it, if you use waze or google maps, clean and with wonderful view! Special thanks to Gustavo, restaurant manager that he gave me a cake for my birthday in breakfast! All personal in the restaurant were incredibly nice and helpful!
Cons: Everything was super good!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: nice room with a great view, very nice pool.
Cons: Difficult to find. A small sign marks a small gravel road that leads to the motel which we missed seeing several times before we found the hotel.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location close to the town and beach. We had a car but it is a short taxi ride to both. Friendly staff.
Good 7.5
Pros: Stunning views, friendly staff, nice evening restaurant, food very good.
Cons: Could do with a bit of TLC, as a bit dated
Excellent 9.6
We arrived late in the evening to a welcoming smiling face who was helpful and accommodating. Woke up in the morning overlooking the rainforest canopy and communal area from our balcony window. Then started our morning with more smiling staff members putting together a typical Costa Rican breakfast and fresh fruit for us to enjoy. This was a great quick stop on our long journey over from the UK. Thank you
