Pros: Coffee is great in morning. Breakfast simply but sufficient. The room spacious with good bed and great shower.

Pros: Not my first stay here: Rooms are very good, comfortable bed and good shower. Wifi good and sockets next to the bed to power up devices. Breakfast is focused on Thai but they have great coffee !!!! toast and jam available. Thai breakfast looks tasty. Having Big C next door is easy

Cons: As all the buildings in Thailand, you can hear people in corridors and hallways and if room adjacent or above is moving furniture (chair) you hear it..... but again this is in all standard hotels in Thailand. During night nice and quiet

Pros: Great place with extremely comfortable beds. Also the shower is top class The owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel for a comfortable and affordable stay.

Pros: Everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was Vietnamese soup, made to order, fruit, sweet bread, and coffee. The location is ideal. It is next to a large shopping mall and very close to the bus terminal and border crossing with Laos.

Pros: Very well designed room with one of the most comfortable beds in Thailand. At breakfast the Vietnamese noodle soup (pho) was delicious.

Cons: The main road is quite noisy, but your the room is still acceptable quiet, if you don't open windows.

Great hotel right in the midst of the Indochina market and thus right up close to the river. We've stayed here a few times, but this time we took a river view deluxe room and were rewarded with a beautiful Mekong sunrise. Lovely wood all over the place. The place was busy but we only heard a few, mainly because the clientele seems to be older and thus quieter. That's good because the terrazzo floor and rendered walls are a bit of an echo chamber. The deluxe room was well equipped and had a balcony with a river view but no chairs. It was very clean nd the linen spotless and fresh. Didn't try the TV but it seems to have a long list of channels in Thai and English. In general the English level is pretty good for Isaan. The wi-fi was good too. 8 out of 10 for breakfast with filter coffee and a mix of Western, Thai and Chinese dishes. The rice porridge was excellent. The hotel has no meals except breakfast but the riverside restaurants like Black Bear Cafe and Nut Pob are not far down the track.

Love this hotel, this was our third stay here. Services are limited due to covid but it is still our favorite hotel in Mukdahan.

This is our third time we stayed at this hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a friendly helpful staff. The Tom Tom chicken soup at breakfast was outstanding. Spend the extra money and get a river view room of the Mekong river, it is worth the extra price. Work on the Indochine market area is continuing but enough of the shops are open in temporary locations to make it interesting. Also the Muldahan night market is a must see and walking distance from the hotel (or a short yuk yuk ride if you prefer that option). Great place we will be back.

Cons: The breakfast. It was basic, to say the least, and they seemed run out of everything - including on one occasion, plates!

It's my second time at this hotel. They closed for several months because of the pandemic and are slowing getting back to normal. There's a lot the like about the hotel: the location is close to the river and right in the Indo-China market. The room rate included breakfast which is pretty good especially when it's up on the 6th floor. The room facilities are good and the bed was good (read firm to head as is the standard) . The bathroom is a little basic though it has been renovated. Love all the wood used, Great value currently.

An older hotel across the street from the Indo China Market on the riverfront. The best feature is their breakfast room on the 6th floor with great views of the river. For an economy hotel it is a fair value.

For the location it was reasonably priced. Room was very clean and the shower was hot with good water pressure. Breakfast was OK but the hotplates for the sausages and egg fried rice were not plugged in. Cold sausages and rice are not very appetising!

The hotel was very clean and all accommodations were there. The new staff was not fluent even aa little in English so we had difficulty in getting into my paid for reservation. Breakfast was not mentioned this time as available however, I saw there was a breakfast accommodation, but the language barrier caused me to believe that there were no breakfast meals available. Having stocked up for the lack of what I thought was no breakfast available because of the Covid 19 precautions, I survived quite well. Again, even with the slight variations in the normal great service, I will always return to my favorite hotel in Mukdahan..

We stayed at the RiverFront 3 Years ago and was happy to come back again. The only change to before is that the Buffet Breakfast is now served downstairs instead of the Top Floor Dining Room as before. This is due to to Covids making a need to cut costs til business picks up again. There wasn't the variety of Food as before, but it was sufficient, remembering that the Room Rate is much lower than before. In their Coffee Shop the Iced Coffee with Whipped Cream is a must.

Pros: Good location, next to the bus station, yet quiet, and close enough to the center so you can take a walk. Spacious and well equipped room, clean and comfortable, good breakfast included.

The Avalon is clean and runs efficiently. I also found the staff to be very helpful and spoke enough English. The only negative was the bathroom floor. Even after letting it dry, after it was wet mopped by housekeeping, the floor would sponge out water from underneath the floor tiles. I really didn't like that. Luckily, I was on my own and was given 2 large bath towels, one of which I used on the floor. If you like a firm bed, I do, then you'll love the beds at Avalon. I walked at my two hip replacement gate to the Thai Consulate in 20 minutes.

Good location and clean, only thing that should improve is breakfast. Some of breakfast set are not available at all, I ordered and every time.. 'we don't have'.

This budget hotel is located in a convenient location, not far from the bus station and 10-15 minutes walk to the Thai Embassy. The room is clean and nice size. There is small confusion regarding the room I booked but I managed to get the room I wanted and skip the breakfast which was fine to me. For the room next to the lift, you may hear the sound of the lift when it's operating but if you are tired/a deep sleeper, it should not be a problem.

Arriving at 10.30 reception made us wait until checking at 12.30. The room was on the second floor , big and clean. The twin bedding was pushed against the front windows which made them hot. The air conditioning took a long time to cool the room. We were there for a visa run and the room was satisfactory for that purpose. We had breakfast included in the room and the serves were small. I would recommend mid range travellers this hotel or the Aura same place

Pros: Key location right next to the bus station. Some pretty good restaurants and coffee shops near by. Spacious, modern and clean room. Good breakfast selection.

Cons: There was something wrong with the air conditioning. I had it set to 16C and just about managed to sleep. Under normal circumstances I should be freezing in that temperature within an hour.

Out of the way but we had our car so not too bad. Construction view (and noise) room. Nice cafe in the casino; standard buffet for breakfast.

Pros: It was as nice as any casino I ever been to. Free breakfast, 100 thb all you can eat buffet. Close to Thai consulate general, close to Thai border. Rooms over looking casino floor have dark tinted glass so unless you look at the time you will think it's always dark.

Cons: A 200 thb voucher at the casino should represent 200 thb. Ergo if you place a bet and win, you get 400 thb. Not 200 and they remove voucher. They just dont understand the voucher system.

Service was very sweet and efficient. Most servers spoke at least a little English. The hotel was very clean and upscale. This is worth a detour for a visit if you are vacationing anywhere in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam or Thailand. 24 hour spa! Foot massage at 3 am anyone? Beautiful pool that no one uses. Not as dimly lit as most casinos and not quite as noisy, so easy to gamble and socialize. Great espresso and pastries; substantial and tasty buffet - Thai chef. Could use more pictures on the walls; clearly still a new hotel. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.

Pros: Cheap room for the size. Budget hotel with decent comfort. Perfect location to take the bus to Laos Border, just at a 50 meters walk from the bus station. Have also a Tesco Lotus Mall at 5 min walking and a nice festive local nightmarket at a 800 meters walk.

Cons: The bathroom was very dirty. They obviously didn't clean it from the previous customer. Had hairs in the bath tube, toilet seat was dirty, sink also. Really disappointed on this side. Can hear a bit the noise from the main road near. Not good soundproof from outside noise.

Pros: Location is good. It is next to the bus terminal, a 7/11, and a few restaurants. The air conditioner was very good. Staff was kind and helpful.

Everything is fine with Submukda Phoom Place. The only problem I had was the Fridge freezer didn't work so I couldn't make ice for my Scotch. I didn't mention it to the staff so no problem. love the fact the TV has a English speaking movie channel, channel 10. Continues movies, no commercials, just goes from one movie to the next and most are 2019. Air-con is great, Lotus shopping complex just down the road. This hotel is real value.

Crazy architect who put all rooms side of the noisy highway I booked for 3 adults and 1 child, We made book in We try the room and we book in another place because so noisy with the highway And no protection against noise We loose the price of this night, but had a good night in good other hotel of Mukdahan Avoid We never come again

Cleanliness is poor, there are some shampoo bottles from previous use at the bathtub/used tissues at the bed side and drinking water left lipstick a bit (I am not sure they just not changes my glass or the new one is not clean). For room comfort I can excepted with price.

The rrsort is very nice, but the maintaining during Covid is very bad. Pool is not usable. And we decided this place with kids to spend some time at the pool. All other facilities atvthe place are closed. Worth of the price isn't given.

Cons: We'd booked a twin but were told there were none available when we arrived- their first suggestion was that we pay extra for another bed to be put in the room. After we insisted, we got this free of charge. The extra bed was a camp bed, but was fairly comfortable. The room had more mosquitoes and assorted crawling wildlife than I've ever encountered in any accommodation, even very cheap hostels, before. It took half a can of Raid to sort out. The hotel is a bit of a hike out of the centre.

Cons: As soon as we enter the room lots of mosquitoes welcome us (mosquitoes in toilet,bedroom & closet). I called the lobby to change our room but he declined. I asked for mosquitoes spray but he came with almost empty bottle. I was so scared that my son will get beaten by mosquitoes so we slept with all the lights on. Good thing I brought mosquito repellent.Buffet breakfast don’t have much selection.The only warm food is the egg & noodle soup the rest are cold. THE WIFI IS WEAK.Staff only speak very minimal English.
