The hotel was as expected. The location and price was right, but the beds were punishing! At checkout I was told the beds were brand new. Whomever is doing the bed purchasing needs to spend a few nights in that room so he/she can judge the quality of the decision. I'll be at the chiropractor
I got a great deal on this room and so was fine with the less than great service. The hotel is a bit dilapidated, but was clean and had all the basics I needed.
This was a nice hotel to stay at. It is a bit hard to find as there wasn't any street signage. Other then that it was very pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner did shut off during the day while we were out but I assume that is to save electricity. Not a big issue as we would just turn it back on and have cool air in 10 mins or so.
The staff were always polite and helpful. However I ended up with a smoking room. I didn't notice it until I got home and all my stuff reeked of smoke. The room was relatively clean and had everything needed for and extended stay. The breakfast is packaged muffins and bagels with a toaster, not bad. However the coffee was empty several mornings and I didn't have time to wait for them to brew more. Maybe they can stay ahead of that better.
We chose the Extended Stay because it was the closest to a relative who lives in Scottsdale. The room was clean and comfortable, with a refrigerator and stove, as well as sink, and tableware. The towels and washcloths were on the skimpy side, but for the price and the location it was fine. We plan to return.
This is an axcellent solution for business and pleasure travelers. We use it for visitors we can't accomodate in our nearby condo. We also stayed here during parts of our remodel. It is conveniently located, well appointed, comfortable and clean. Parking and breakfast are provided as it high speed internet connection.
This hotel was a gem about 5 years ago in appearance and services. Its still 'ok' but I have some concerns that management is allowing this hotel to decline. Its main selling points are that its off the street, relatively quiet from traffic and appears to be in a safe location. The bedspreads are the same ones that were used on my stay 5 years ago (that or they bought an awful lot of the same patterned bedspreads, which I don't think is the case). The room carpet was in a good need for shampooing. I had white socks on at night and they were filthy after an evening of walking around the room. How difficult is it to periodically shampoo a carpet?? Beware of the 'high-speed wifi', after paying your $* per stay and signing on, the page immediately asks you if you want a better internet connection... for an extra $* or so. Anything to make a buck.
The room was nice and spacious. The bad seemed like an 'Outer-spring-matress'! Worst hotel bed ever. I ended up using the couch pull out bed. It had similar kind of matress but was less worn. The dishes and pans were stained terribly but usable. Large (for a hotel) fridge. Property was very clean and the people at the desk were very nice. I had a very good price, but it wasn't worth it at all.
Scottsdale can be costly. This hotel was of good quality for the star rating and price. The hotel has clean, very nice rooms with kitchenette, and living area. Outdoor pool has shade from the heat (90 during my stay in April) and BBQ area. The hotel is slightly off the main road, so it was very quiet. Plenty of parking. Good size room for money. The wild bunnies running around on the grass were delightful.
We worked in the area for 2.5 weeks and this facility worked well for us. Front desk was friendly with directions, local restraunt advice, etc. Rooms were comfortable and never felt cramped for the long stay. Laundry room was convenient and fitness room well equipped. The once a week housekeeping is kind of a let down but the front desk was always helpful with any supplies we needed such as more towels or soaps. The only 'surprise' was when the nightly rate went up for the last 2 nights of our stay when we were not informed that this would happen when we made the reservation.
Everything was clean and well-maintained, the premises and room were quiet, and there were no problems. The location's convenient. Get breakfast somewhere else, though.
Traveling with a toddler the Extended Stay gave us enough extra room to accomodate the pack&play and the fridge was great for kid snacks. Breakfast is only provided M-F though. The location is great - walking distance to restaurants, groceries and a 24hr Walgreens.
Close to everything including Metro Center Mall that has an amusement park. Perfect for stays beyond 3 days, stock fridge etc. very comfortable
Stayed here only after first choice was booked, but worked out for the best. Really appreciated the kitchenette--it was nice to stock the fridge and cook instead of constantly eating out. The cable TV was pretty basic, with no channel guide. Otherwise, clean, quiet and a decent value with courteous staff.
