Overview

Fantastic location just a four-minute walk from the nearest ski slope and with easy access to plenty of other runs. The Shiga Highlands offer something to appreciate all year round: in spring, try wild mountain vegetables and enjoy the fresh green shoots; in summer, beat the heat and try some hiking while checking out Takayama's delightful flora; and in autumn, check out the vibrant colors of the foliage.
