Sorry, Nothing a lot of the staff were foreign so disinclined to talk and knew nothing of the area
No ambience, No bon homie, poor parking (first come, first served) breakfast O.K. but needed to ask for refill's of coffee and butter. Dinner too "stuffy" and started too late for us. Most of the other guest's where very stuck up and place felt like a resident care home. While room's had been modernised and had good plumbing and furnishings our room was above the kitchens with all the noises and banging you would expect, couldn't get any sleep until clearing up done for the night, then it started again at 7am in the morning. There was so much ivy around our windows it made it too dark, and wasp nest in ivy meant window could not be opened. Bar area was negligible and you had to ring for service!.
lovely room and location.
sometimes had to finde staff to help you. when they were located they were good. It was also mainly used by senior citizens.
The beds seemed very small for doubles and were too soft for my personal preference.
Traditional comfort, with large lounges right on the sea front. Rooms have been updated with very pleasing furnishings and super bathrooms, especially the showers.
Afternoon tea could be a little more imaginative (an important part of entertaining an elderly relative).
The whole experience was lovely.
We enjoyed a high level of comfort and service. Our needs were attended to promptly and efficiently
I particularly liked the lounge area which was spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent.
The bed wasn't very comfortable
