Clean, large, well run hotel on the northside of Amsterdam. Free ferry about 10 min walk that drops you off at Central Station in 4 minutes. Hotel beds were amazing. We had a great view on 14th floor ( odd number side) and breakfast was really nice. Very clean and friendly.

Roadworks outside make access increasingly disruptive Room comfort poor. Bed, pillows, sheets all cheap and uncomfortable Noise levels high Lots of youths having about outside hotel blocking entrance quite intimidating

Loved how there is all these common areas for you to relax / visit outside of your room Breakfast was a bit frustrating.. so many people trying to get food and coffee machines located right at the back so very difficult to get your coffee with everyone trying ti get their food

Clean, modern but basic hotel located around 25 mins from Centrum via walk and (free) ferry. Would recommend for travellers on a budget. The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast, egg seemed rubbery (compared with other HIX in UK and Germany).
