Cons (-) this place is not worth the price. our room was terrible. broken light, broken mirror closet door.... no cups in the room. i actually had to complain to the staff , thus i got upgraded to " ocean view" suite... what a joke. this place is not worth what it charges, oh and i almost forgot there is a charge to park on premise.

Cons (-) Dated, smelled bad, bugs, marginal bedding, had to close door to use commode, shower control not functional, took forever for hot water, then to scalding. Needs restoration immediately. Asbury deserves better

Cons (-) the rooms were dirty, the toilet flush, the HVAC was noisey and barely worked, the room had wet floors, it smelled terrible, the quality of the linens was bad etc..

Pros (+) The grounds were nicely maintained, and the beach was close.
Cons (-) 1.Parking was a nightmare 2. No fridge 3. No coffee pot 4. Broken closet doors which maintenance came to fix but didn't 5. Wifi not free 6. Not a single menu or brochure in the room for restaurants or local attractions

Cons (-) There were stains on the carpet, furniture as well as the walls. The tub wouldn't drain when you showered.

Pros (+) The proximity to Asbury Park beach and the board walk was unmatched! Excellent location for beach days and date night! The 3 restaurants we went to were amazing-- Kate Marie's, Stella Marina, and Robinson Ale House. The room was big enough for the two of us. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. I would return for a quick trip.
Cons (-) The hotel had some "modern" updates in the main common areas, but there needs to be more renovations throughout the hotel. The bathroom door barely closed...there were pieces of the wall that needed to be replastered and painted. They gave basic updates to the carpet, TV, and beds, but the closets and bathrooms were left wanting.
