Welcoming owner that goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Breakfast to die for with the best scrambled egg on earth and a breakfast special every day. Can't wait to return. 9.9/10

We also offer a Full Cornish Breakfast Platter, not the for the faint hearted, but it will set you up for the day. Evening meals are available and special diets can be catered for on request. A full wine list is available as we are fully licensed. Dinner is served at 6:30pm

Pros: David and Clive were wonderful hosts; full of helpfulness and warmth. Lovely cuppa when I arrived and lovely fruit for the guests as and when wanted. Lovely breakfasts.

Pros: Wonderful hospitality from the first moment, friendly, welcoming and relaxed hosts who could not be more willing to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. From printing out suggested itineries for sightseeing, to recommending surrounding restaurants. The breakfasts were wonderful. Both Clive and Dave take no shortcuts in their dedication to give guests a memorable stay in their premises.

Pros: Very friendly staff, clean but looking a bit dated
Cons: Saying didn't like would be harsh, I would suggest that they have a look around and decorate to spruce the place up a bit and also look at the produce they are buying to serve at breakfast as the bacon and sausage served were not the best quality, but I were that way again I would have no qualms in booking again

Pros: The lounge looking out to sea. It was very relaxing, the staff were excellent with my elderly mother and her dementia. The food is good value for money.
Cons: The only thing was the staff questioned me when i took my mother up to my room while i changed for dinner. They wanted to confirm i was the only one staying in the room and was not sneaking my elderly mother in with me, heavens forbid.

Pros: All the staff were very welcoming. our rooms were comfortable. the location is excellent.
Cons: We had planned to have dinner in the hotel but discovered on arrival that there is a jacket and tie dress code for men. I had checked on the hotel web site before our trip and didn't see any mention of this. it would be useful to include in your information. also we had planned to use the pool on sunday morning but it was closed for maintenance. if we had known we would have swum the night before. a little disappointing.
