Pros: Outstanding 6 star service in a brand new retro-chic wonderful retreat hotel. What a stunning and wonderful experience. Sharon and Nigel anticipate your every need - in fact exceed it by providing what you didn't know you needed!! From the welcome at the door by Sharon to the thank you departure wave by both hosts as we left - the stay was PERFECT. They have branded each of the rooms with a music theme - either of a singer or a band - we were in Freddie Mercury - right at the top of the house. Everything is high quality - from the beautiful wooden entrance hall floor to the deep pile carpet on the stairs and landings. There is an amazing lounge room outside the actual house - in which there is complimentary tea and coffee, honesty bar, comfy sofas, board games and a lovely wood burning stove. The location is perfect - with sea views as the road is only 1 street back from the sea and a wonderful park right next door to walk. Only 10 minutes walk into the town of Falmouth - this wonderful place has everything you need. The breakfast was plentiful and such a range of wonderful delights - including home made flapjacks to take away. When you arrive Sharon takes you to the room - makes sure you are comfortable - there are tea and coffee facilities and a fridge in the room with fresh milk and home made "grandmas" chocolate Tiffin. A truly luxury experience.
Cons: Having to go home - I was sad to leave and I will for sure be back to stay with them again :)

Cons: Stayed hear several times but unfortunately in room 11 we could here music all night from below room ie kitchen I believe so sleep was pretty dire on this occasion.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Modern hotel with fantastic views. The hydrothermal facilities are amazing. Does worth the money. Very relaxing experience. Good restaurants.
Cons: Property is great although the “Cosy room” option is perhaps to small. The new building in front of this hotel is unfortunately “hiding” fantastic views.

Pros: A stones throw away from the sea front. Fabulous staff, rooms, restaurant, pool and gym. A perfect break. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

Pros: The resort was lovely, even with the building works directly in front of the hotel. You could just about see the sea still. The room was really good but the carpet had marks on it and for the price paid im sure if could be cleaned. Not sure if I would pay that much again for the room but it was really close to the beach and could walk 10 minutes to the town. The swimming pool was a really good size with a sauna and steam room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Lovely room. All staff very friendly and helpful regardless of their role. Really good food and drink. Well maintained hotel.
Cons: Shame about the building next door being built, blocks the sea view from our room. No mention of it on the booking page. Don’t let it put you off coming to stay here though.

Pros: Very nice big old comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Lovely big bar and restaurant, both overlooking the sea. All the staff were very friendly. The breakfasts were excellent.
Cons: The beds were a bit soft. They could do with replacing. The dinner menu was somewhat limited, so generally we ate out of the hotel, but that was no problem as we had intended to do so anyway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simply outstanding hotel from staff to the room. Very very pet-friendly indeed, nothing too much trouble, highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Lovely hotel in a lovely setting. The food was superb and the staff absolutely wonderful.
Cons: Some aspects of the hotel are starting to look a little tired but it is going through a refurb program and this will rectify the situation. Overall a lovely stay and we would stay again.
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff gave us a renovated room (makes a difference). We had a corner room (good!) Pretty good clothes storage for longer stays. Tea, coffee, biscuits and kettle in room. Dining menu restricted but adequate. The locally landed plaice was delicious and skilfully prepared. Kudos to chef and team. Cooked breakfast well done (well poached eggs). Full afternoon tea with big scones and all trimmings available. Onsite parking convenient. Hotel needs a makeover but has good buzzy atmosphere and vestiges of a grander past. Staff were friendly and professional. Property has a beautiful outlook and gardens were in bloom. Pretty. Very social place. We enjoyed our stay. Excellent location - short walk into town and the local feeder railway which connects to Truro is easily and painlessly walkable - 10 mins.
Cons: Hotel overall was somewhat tired and faded, but still charming. The large sea-facing rooms which our friends stayed in were vast and somewhat gloomy, sparsely furnished. Ideal if you have a lot of luggage. Missed opportunity here for a superb experience with a room that generously sized. Gorgeous sea view obstructed by condensation on window glass. In double room - no towel rail or paper holder in bathroom (drape large towels on heater bars). We had a corner room (good!) Placing tooth glasses on top of the WC wasn't very hygienic. But bathroom otherwise roomy, clean and functional. Good, strong shower and hot water. Not luxurious, but things worked well.
