Cons: here is why i am not going to fly norwegian anymore. they have a weight limit on carry ons. it's a scam. mine had clothing in it and was hardly packed tight and it went over the limit. this was an automatic checked bag fee of $60 each way. added $120 to my fee the moment i got to the airport on my first leg so much for discount airline. my 5pm flight home was delayed 2 hours.. then 3. then 4.. then no information then at 11pm the flight was officially canceled. we were given no hotels or instructions. panic'd passengers also with no real information were passing stories around. the most popular story was the flight is CANCELED YOU HAVE TO BOOK YOUR OWN NEW FLIGHT THERE ARE NONE FOR 2 DAYS! so i did. i booked a flight on my phone thinking i was stuck for 36 hours. At 1am they finally unloaded our bags off the plane. the bag that i wanted to carry on the whole time, mind you. Since there were "no hotels" according to the airline, i booked one within a few miles of the airport (airline does make it easy to reimburse for taxi hotels and food online). as I was leaving after 1am they finally made an announcement we will have a plane it will leave around 5pm and they will text us details, which was a slight relief. naturally they had no transportation for us, so another 45 min wait for a cab. I was able to cancel and get a refund on my new booking and had to trust that they would come through. ultimately they had some old plane from another airline show up that got us home as scheduled that day.. whatever. the screens were not working so that was just that extra punch in the gut. Things happen, planes break, and i certainly am all for making sure equipment is safe, but being stuck at the airport for little reason waiting for my carryon i was forced to check for a massive fee with no information until after 1 in the morning was disturbing.
Pros: I loved this comfortable, clean, flight. Best airplane meal I have ever eaten! Loved being able To place order on demand. Service was friendly fast and the bathroom was the largest I have ever been in.

Fortunately we made the 1:20 am train to London otherwise the whole travel experience would have been very poor. We had a crying/howling toddler in the seat row in front of us. I know there isn't much you can do about this but it obviously has a huge impact on the comfort of your flight.

Pros: The level of service and appearance of employees. The entire staff was very attentive and offered assistance multiple times. The airplane was clean and kept at good temperature which is a plus because other airlines don’t put focus on this.

We had a party of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) our seating was split sporadically, the 2 adults were split and placed in two different rows next to 2 other single individuals. The 2 children were placed in the back rows. Same rows next time!!!

Cons: Our flight was suppose to be at 5:10pm. It was cancelled around 10-11pm. Thankfully they were considerate of the fact that I had an infant and found accommodation for us until the next morning, but they were telling passengers at 1am to figure out where to stay until the next flight. Oo and although we knew the flight was cancelled the hassle of getting our bags and going through customs again we didn’t get to our hotel until 2:45am. Most of the staff seemed rude , but that could be because their answer for everything was a sharp “I don’t know”. I can only remember two names of the staff members that were great and put me slightly at ease during this horrible ordeal. Sandy and Suzie were kind and tried to give the best answers they could to the passengers. The flight back was on a Privilege aircraft though Norwegian. The flight attendants were amazing and much more leg room than the newer Norwegian aircraft.

Beautiful magazines free provided before boarding. No lines at the gate with favored seats going first. We simply boarded as we arrived!

Pros: The flight crew was phenomenal, especially Daniella. Somehow we wound up with seats right next to the bathroom door, which would have been a pretty uncomfortable situation for a variety of reasons, but the flight wasn't full, and she helped us find a suitable place to sit. Also, my wife and I usually take our tea with honey vs. milk and sugar. Even though honey is usually one of the options for tea, she found a way to accommodate our request. The lunch meals were the best I can remember in a long time on an airline flight. They might have been the best I've ever had. The chicken curry was authentic, flavorful and spicy. Frankly my outbound flight had problems. My luggage got damaged. The transfer experience in Manchester left a LOT to be desired. I wasn't planning to use Virgin Atlantic again, but this flight crew (Daniella especially) redeemed Virgin Atlantic. They were attentive, pleasant, diligent.
Cons: Only thing I didn't like about this flight was the boarding area. Once you get into that the area, you don't really have access to appetizing food (only vending machines) or even restrooms. That's one thing that could be improved.

Asked for an upgrade ( complimentary ) and was told none available , but on during the flight , checked - many seats were empty !! Was not offered a paid upgrade also. The online check in is terrible. I have to first log on with my name and then with my wife's name and then do check in. Should be able to do check in with one code for both of us simultaneously. The check in page asked same information multiple times , even though the details were entered while booking ticket.
Cons: Flight was delayed more 1:15 and it is a 35 min flight. If this happens so late in the night is even worse.

They lost 3 out of the 4 bags, but assured me all 3 were on the very next flight. The next flight came in but only 2 more had been put on that flight. Still waiting on 4th...

Cons: The family in the row behind us. The airline can't be blamed for that, but there should be some rules about making sure you keep your kids under control on the plane. The family had 5 kids. At least two, maybe three, of the kids were loud - like screaming and crying the whole flight. These particular kids also kept slamming the trays into the holders, which made the seat in front of them shake, definetly disturbing the people in those seats. I understand flights can be uncomfortable for kids (I have two children of my own), but these kids were out of control and very disruptive. Again, there should be rules or some type of regulations about this behavior. This family was disruptive to a whole section of the plane, that's not fair. Also, downloading the app in order to use the entertainment was frustrating. I couldn't log on to any free WiFi, which meant I couldn't download the app. So I didn't get any entertainment. If we had known while we were waiting to board that this was the entertainment option, I could have downloaded the app in the airport, which had a better connection for me. We all shouldn't have to own iPhones to get the best tech stuff - I say that because my daughter, who flew with me, has an iPhone and she didn't seem to have a problem.

Cons: Didn't like having to climb stairs into plane with two hip replacements and luggage, and no assistance. The seats are tiny (and I'm a small person). The food was mediocre, passengers took their own food on board. The entertainment was pitiful for such a long flight. Very disappointed and probably will avoid Thomas Cook for future trips. Plus, It was very cold with constant cold air blowing on me; they provided no blankets, even though I requested one.

Cons: For starters our cabin crew were the worst. The first service I had ask for a snack and no napkins. Dinner service was like just chucking food down in front of you. Then a stewardess looks me dead in the face and passed me for the drink service, then she said she thought I was asleep.

Cons: The flight was delayed due to a sick passenger, but while that was going on, the crew was also scrambling to assign a woman a new seat as a religious man did not want to sit in the same row as a woman (the 3 seat row would've put the woman 2 seats away from the man with the complaint). This is an unfair and misogynistic policy.

Pros: This flight was what you should expect - smooth boarding, helpful and friendly crew, good food and drinks service etc.
Cons: The wash bag is now so limited- the bare minimum (and that's in business class!). No comb even. No face wipe either. It's an obvious thing to economise on from the airline's point of view, but it doesn't really have to cost them anything. And the choice of new films was somewhat disappointing - they are relying quite a lot on older films. and no duty free at all (the crew were apparently not given the correct paperwork to allow sales). This was disappointing as I had been hoping to pick up a dual SIM gadget. None of these minus points are major, but they detracted from my enjoyment of the flight
