The building and setting
Completely understaffed. Awful service from start to finish. Had to wait for check in, room service, queue for breakfast, wait for breakfast, queue for check out. The stay was just really bad and considering we had paid £260 for ONE NIGHT we were expecting a much better experience. Very disappointed
the kindness shown to us after we complained by Byron Fiddler, Reception manager
the attitude of Charlotte the receptionist who was extremely rude to us on arrival and the weather! it was very cold in the room.
The location is great - outside but still 10 mins to the centre.
the spa, gym and pool is ver very good - although the treatments are pricey
Being charged 5 pounds for parking having spent 500 pounds for a 1 night stay
The bedroom, the spa and the restaurant.
I had been at this hotel before. This time I was given a bedroom in the Garden Floor. This floor looks dated and the bedrooms are not as nice as the ones in other floors so I requested to be moved to another bedroom, which the hotel kindly granted me.
Beautiful views over Bath. Superb spa facilities. Sumptuous bathroom.
Standard double bed was inufficient for the price/quality of the hotel. A king size should have been standard. Neither of us got much sleep due to lack of space, which is a poor outcome for a hotel advertising itself as luxurious and relaxing.
Particularly liked the use of the spa facilities and the quiet room
We hoped for internet access in the room but this did not work and was not fixed although we were told it would be
The leisure facilities are excellent and setting is beautiful. The cost of the food and drink were excessive
spa + breakfast
carpets in room could be cleaner
It was a most pleasant place to stay, staff were friendly, helpfull and non invasive.
Spa and Hydrotherapy facilities
Room dirty on arrival, inexperienced resteraunt staff, limited menu.
