10.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was first class, and the staff couldn't do enough for us , would stay there again if in the area
Cons: everything was great
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Just cozy and utterly friendly . Breakfast perfect. Outdoor fireplace brilliant Bar service outstanding. Spa area fine but size limited to just a few guests.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The staffs were very kind. The breakfast was good.
Cons: The room was first floor or underground. It was humid and seems not well ventilated. Compare to its price, the room seems small.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The people who work in the hotel were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was fine, the eggs were nice, as was the driftwood decoration around the hotel.
Cons: For us, this was not a 4 star hotel. The pool was very small with only 5 or so recliner chairs around the area which in a hotel with many rooms, is not sufficient. The rooms are very compact (and we paid for a "superior" one). You can't take a shower as the bath doesn't have an overhead shower, and there are no hooks on which to hook the retractable handheld shower cable. Even if you could hook it up, the cable is too short (circa 1m long) so you have to sit down in the bath to attempt to shower. This would be completely unacceptable if we were staying there for skiing. Whilst we were there in summer, there are only 2 hooks in the bedroom, and 2 in the hallway so there is nowhere that you could hang wet ski gear, other than on the balcony outside - which in the superior rooms is at ground level. We felt that we couldn't sleep soundly with the window open, as our room opened into a terrace and the car park, with a small barrier around the balcony, so we were really hot. The hotel staff told us it was safe to sleep with the door open, but I didn't feel comfortable with that. The carpet in the rooms is unpleasant underfoot and rough/plastic feeling, so you can't comfortably relax with your shoes off. Not clear why they call it an "eco" hotel as there were plastic toiletries from a non-eco brand in the bathrooms and plastic wrapped slippers put in the rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Nothing was a problem
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff at the hotel are amazing and all time smiling and providing excellent service. Excellent breakfast with a wide range. The hotel's restaurant with a rich menu for dinner. The rooms are clean and high level. Excellent and recommended hotel!
Cons: The building outside is not maintained and looks bad
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nicely furnished, good standard, well equiped.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were great as were the facilities
Cons: A little hard to find but great when we found it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast and afternoon snack were both excellent. Room was clean and just what we needed when we mainly there just to enjoy the mountain.
Cons: The single bed was not that comfortable but otherwise everything else was great.

4.2 Okay
Cons: As a coeliac, I ordered the only dish marked gluten free on the menu, checked with three staff that it was ok. It was not gluten free and I was violently vomiting all evening. I brought this to the attention of reception on check out, no apology or refund was offered. There are additional charges for everything as well, parking 10e a day, spa 20e per day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager of the hotel helped out out of a really tight spot and lent us his car for the day. All the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The rooms were clean, and beds comfortable. Will definitely be coming back!
8.8 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room with nice views and friendly helpful staff
Cons: The location is excellent if you arrive by car as it is just a short uphill walk to the old city. However, it is located just over halfway up a hill from the new to the old town. There were no taxis available when we arrived by train, and being in our 70s we found the walk of about 6-700 metres on the flat followed by 4-500 metres up a quite steep hill with baggage to be too much for us. Could not get wi-fi reception in our room and had to go to public area.

7.1 Good
Pros: It was convenient for us as we were driving through the Haute Alpes. We walked up to the old town during the day which was great but drove back at night to eat at an excellent restaurant (Au Plaisir Ambre) - much better than the one around the corner in Rue Centrale from the hotel. Close to the funicular which we went up to the Serre Chevalier on - that was fabulous. 9.2 Excellent
Pros: A quaint little hotel with modern rooms and nice decor. Situated in the old town, so it is not possible to take the car all the way to the hotel. We were late for check in, but it was all solved on telephone and we could get into the room really late at night. We were given a card to be able to go into the restricted area with our car and found parking there without a problem. There were some problems with boiling the eggs at breakfast, but that may well have been user errors, hehe. Otherwise ample breakfast. Pauline, who was good at English, gave us excellent advice about where to hike, thank you for that.
Cons: As we had our room on the top floor, there were quite a few stairs to climb. An elevator would have been handy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed here several times now over the last few years and this place never disappoints. The rooms are clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms modern. Well located inside the citadel. Good breakfast and friendly staff. English spoken.
Cons: Nothing to complain about with the exception of WIFI signal in rooms could be better.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quaintness of the old town and being able to have drinks on the ramparts of the Vauban fort while watching the sunset.
Cons: Very noisy given it is in the centre of the old town, but this may have been an exception as the police had to come to stop a guy doing maintenance.
9.2 Excellent

Cons: Small room
9.6 Excellent
