Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests frequently appreciate the hotel's convenient location near Yosemite, Bodie, and Tioga Pass, as well as the authentic mountain lodge atmosphere. However, there are repeated complaints about cleanliness, with several reviews mentioning dirty rooms, dusty heaters, and stained linens. Noise insulation is also a concern, as guests report hearing sounds from neighboring rooms and the road. While some found the beds comfortable and the rooms well-equipped, others noted issues with heating, basic amenities, and inconsistent service. Overall, the location and rustic charm stand out positively, but improvements are needed in cleanliness and comfort.
