Pros: The easy access to golf course and arrangements for storing golf clubs made playing golf completely hassle free. The staff in hotel and at golf club were very pleasant and obliging.

Cons: products used in hotel were of low quality, unacceptable for its rate of 5 star. Poor breakfast. Ordered porridge, they brought dry uncooked oat flakes in a bowl. Menu in restaurant never changes. Pasta for lunch was cold made with a cucumber sauce from a can!!! Quality of toiletries in bathroom are bad. Room service poor. Had used things in room for 5 days. Spa is bad. 2 therapist and no one is capable to do a simple massage. I was locked in spa by staff at 1pm and had to crawl out of the window because all the staff left for lunch till 3pm. A boy was jumping in swimming pool and stuff didn't make a remark though there is a sign that it is forbidden and the hotel is adult only.

Pros: Good location. Very clean and comfortable apartments with everyday fresh bed linen and towels. Kitchen is well equipped and there is everything you need for cooking and serving the table. Separate dedicated door for entry into a territory from main street is a good idea to cut the route to your apartment :).

I asked for a high chair in the room , there was a 3 euro/ day charge for it . my son has nuts and eggs allergy . breakfast didnt have any options for him ( just bread and butter and beans ) there is no room service There were lots of ants in the room

Pros: This is the place to go if you are traveling with family, especially if you have young kids, the area is so secure and the pools are as well, in our family of 10 there are 3 children 2-7 years old and they walked between our houses like it was nothing, the pool are and the breakfast is kid friendly and superb as well, the beds are.. well i love my bed at home but for 2 weeks it is okay and the cleanliness is superb as well, the hotel is very well situated close to everything and nice restaurants all around, about 15 minute walk to siam mall and 10 minutes to parque santiago 6 shopping center, i will be coming back again with my family here. perfect for families but if you are here to party i would recommend staying elsewhere since there are mainly families.

Pros: Amazing hotel, I stay here alot, staff are so friendly and welcoming. The hotel couldn't be in a more perfect location, on the golden mile, gorgeous restaurants within a 3 minute walk. Spa facilities and breakfast is good, so much choice. Piano played every morning, full of elegance.

Cons: I was coming from a hospital after 8 weeks of recovery and I was not able to take my breakfast to my room. The first day I missed out the dinner I had paid for and also the next night ( I was late and the food was not warm so I couldn´t eat anything. The last day I decided to take my breakfast to my room but I was not allowed to do that!!!!! NEVER BEEN STOPPED BEFORE! I am recovering from Bulimia and other syndromes. The manager was very unpolite and I will never go to this Hotel again. The attitude I got from him was despicable. And I have been in the hospital since I left the hotel - ( Thank you for breaking me down, hope you feel better.)

When I arrived they did put me on ground floor and there was a big group there and they got rooms all over and had no special request. We where offered to upgrade wich I had to do. Pros: Room excellent and quiet. I loved the fact that after you checked out you could still stay at the resort until your flight time and have use of the courtesy lounge. I have never seen this service in any hotel before. The choice of food and drink abvailable in the all inclusive package exceded my expectations. Overall a great experience and will definitely recommend to a friend.

Cons: If I had to critique a little I found the spa to be noisey. I think this was maybe because it was close to the pool area. But this was only a very minor issue

Pros: We liked the design of the hotel, the beautiful lobby and the overwhelming breakfast and dinner buffet served every day. The buffets were indeed overwhelming with over 8 rows of different dishes you can choose from, from grilled entrecôte and giant shrimps to Italian, Asian food, salad bar and huge dessert table. So many choices and the quality was overall good. The hotel is situated in Los Christianos beach but it is the one most far away from the other hotels. But walking distance to the restaurant and clubs are only 5 minutes which is perfectly fine. Our room was half sea view and the view from the balcony was indeed very nice with a lot of sunshine!

Cons: Overall we think the hotel has potential but we truly think that many things could be done better! Guests are left with a feeling that the hotel will charge extra anything they can come up with which is not a service minded way to treat guests! 1. Many facilities advertised on booking.com are actually not available without extra fees. Even facilities that guests would normally expect! We don’t feel good about the following and believe that it was of great inconvenience to us as guests. Plus we got a feeling it was false advertisement because we booked the hotel in the believe that these facilities were available. Info not clear before you arrive in the lobby! A. The spa cannot be used unless you pay 12 euros per hour for the spa. The personnel is very strict with the time. I tried a massage once and even if you buy a massage you still have to buy entrance to the spa for only 1 hour and this time is including changing and showering since the personnel actually calls on you that time is up. Not a good service. However, the spa was fine. But we expected it to be an included facility. B. Roof top pool not included unless guests pay some 60 euros per day per guest and minimum requiring booking two days in a row - meaning you have to pay 120 euro per person in order to use the rooftop pool. We find that unacceptable since the advertisements does not show this! C. All other facilities like bowling, pool are not available unless you pay a fee. Only facility free of charge is the gym. 2. Normally expected facilities not available unless guest pay extra fees. We think this was inconvenient and not recommended if the hotel wants to win the hearts of its guests. A. Mini bar / fridge in the room is locked in the room so guests cannot use it. To use it you have to pay 10 euros per day. Since we were there in December it was fine for us not to use it and just drink room temperature water, but I could imagine how bad it would be for guests during summer!

Pros: More or less everything. With less "hospice feeling" it would the perfect place to be in!!

Pros: We stayed in Sunset two years ago and decided to return this year too. We were really surprised that actually it had become even better: they changed some furniture and repainted the apartments which made them even cozier. We really enjoyed our stay and especially the warm welcome and friendliness of the staff. We had a problem with our flight the last day and they did their best to help us to minimize the damage. Thank you very much!

Pros: The hotel is located only 10-15 minutes from the airport - good location for one night when you are arriving/departing from TFS. The staff at the check-in was very friendly.

Cons: - Not really clean: hairs at the bathroom floor, dirt on the floor in the living and sleeping room. Nevertheless the whole apartment smelled for some chemical /chlorinated cleaner - had to open all doors for hours. - Bed isn’t really comfy: cheap bedstead that moves even when you turn around. - TV in the sleeping room didn’t work properly. - Checkout is early (10am), pool opens late (10am) - so no possibility to swim before checkout.

Pros: Entirely serviceable apartments overlooking pool with sea visible behind buildings. Very much a sunburnt British vibe. Think: mottled burnt skin, barely any Spanish heard. American country music on repeat in the restaurant. Low quality English food.

Pros: A charming, quiet hotel that hides an orange garden and a small pool in the courtyard. Plenty of hikers. Parking was easy to find.

Cons: The personnel were very warm and welcoming, although they communicated mostly in Spanish. This was no problem, though.

Pros: The staff is really charming and helpful, was open to talk and discuss with all guests. The location is good for a quiet retreat.

Cons: Location is far from any activity area, so no recommended when travelling with kids. No WiFi in room, and also very poor 3G/4G telephone signal. The room had unfinished wall tile joints, and the bathroom could do with some refurbishment.

Pros: The amazing house with its history. The apartmen was specious with direct entrance to the shared patio where we had our dinner or morning cup of coffe. Another private small patio with the rack for drying cloths belongs to the apartment. It is not possibleto park directly by the house but the public parking place is 5 min walk. Two supermarkets are nerbay.

Cons: Location not ideal to get the most out of Tenerife if you are without a car. A little bit remote and more than one bus journey required to get to specific locations

Pros: Great location, easy to explore either up the mountain or down to the coast. Granadilla is l lovely little local town too and has all the facilities you need. Not touristy and many locals don't speak English which I prefer.

Cons: Hard to find anything but outside patio areas could do with sweeping and tending the plants and some of the furniture outside is getting rusty and needs replacing but I am being very picky.

Pros: The location is fantastic, it’s on a quiet road (no cars allowed) in Granadilla, a small village where you really get away from other tourists. The apartment itself has an amazing heigh wooden ceiling and the garden is a really nice place to hang out. Perfect location on the island if you have a car. The owner kindly left two bottles of water and the necessary cooking basics like oil salt and pepper.

Cons: Not so sure what to put here, maybe the bathroom could do with a little update? It’s a shower over a bath, no walk-in. However it’s sparkly clean and I enjoyed having a bath!

Pros: The owners are lovely people, very friendly, helpful and welcoming and presented us with lovely homemade fruit tarts and a bottle of wine. We needed a taxi to the airport when leaving and it was arranged for us as promised. Nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to stay somewhere traditional and local away from the main tourist areas. The village is very quiet and has some nice cafes. A large new supermarket recently opened which is within walking distance. We used the local bus service which is brilliant during our stay, cheap, on time and reliable. We used cash but you can buy a bus card. The bus station is only a short walk away from accommodation.

Pros: Perfect location if you want to avoid the busy tourist traps - but still a short drive from the coast. Good for a bike trip since the roads are very good nearby and Mount Teide is easily accessible.

Cons: The room was very cosy if a little bit small.

Cons: Very poor wifi which cost 5.95 euros a night. After complaining about it, we were told they were aware of the problem. You aren't allowed to park in the hotel lot, instead you have to go to a lot that's quite far. Staff seemed pretentious and made us feel unwelcome. Check in at 4 PM (they were not ready for us even then) and check out at 10 AM. Noisy neighbors kept us up well into the night and their TV woke us up in the morning.

Pros: Very accommodating manager who was able to move my non-refundable reservation when I missed my flight and could not arrive on the scheduled date. Comfortable beds with individual lights and curtains. Located right next to the bus stop and the beaches.

Cons: As mentioned by others, there are only 2 bathrooms and no separate toilet. It was not a big issue. Mattress was a bit soft, but did not have any sleep issues.

Pros: We were very happy with this hotel. The rooms were charming & comfortable. If you're looking for a quiet place, this is it. The nights were so quiet; you could hear the crickets! The food was superb! There was an incredible buffet breakfast that was freshly prepared & had many choices & which was included in the price. In the evening, the chef made a wonderful Canarian local dish (also freshly prepared) & the wine was excellent. The local town of Arona was close enough that you could drive in to get a quick meal if you wanted, and the location was only about an hour's drive from Teide. It's also close to hiking trails in the national forest. We really enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed the pool too - an added bonus!

Cons: On our arrival there was no one there...not a single person! There was a contact phone number at the door, & thankfully we had WhatsApp & our hosts also had it, so we were able to phone them & get info about how to get a key to our room. But as a tourist who didn't get a Spanish SIM card for my telephone, if we hadn't had WhatsApp, we might have spent the night outdoors! Also, a minor suggestion: It might be nice if the door to the balcony had a screen door on it so that we could cool the room down (there was no A/C) without getting flies & mosquitoes in the room.
