Friendly staff, great breakfast. Clean and tidy at all times.
Overall good stay!
We stayed for 6 nights in July and very satisfied with our stay. We initially booked a standard room but felt it very tight for 2 people with 2 large suitcases. We were going to be there for 6 nights so we upgraded for the suite for a little extra. We did not try the restaurant or the bar. Pros: The hotel is neat, location is great. Its about 15-20 min from downtown, but very close to public transport. (Bus stop - Science or Metro: Troon) Its also very close to Luxembourg plaza and the EU Parliament. The room we stayed had street view and despite being on the road side wasnt that loud. The breakfast was a good spread. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked for firm beds, but since they didnt have any they were able to arrange for planks under the mattress as a workaround. They even gave us vouchers for free drinks at the bar for opting to conserve water/energy by not asking to change linens/sheets daily.
Cons: The mattress is very soft. If you have a bad back then the mattress is not good. I upgraded to the suite hoping I can use the pull out couch, but still struggled almost all of the 6 nights. The hotel tried to arrange for wooden planks to be placed under the mattress, but it only helped a little. Our room had very low internet wifi. When asked they offered a highspeed network at a cost, but it didn't matter because our room has low signal for any wifi connection.
Comfy clean room with with good bed, great breakfast, well located near centre and European district
Spacious rooms, very clean and quiet environment. One of the receptionists was kind enough to allow us print out travel documents free of charge.
Morning breakfast setting, the service was extremely poor, staff appeared uncaring and unresponsive to the needs of guests. I witnessed staff and management eating food from the breakfast buffet from their hands, in full view of seated dining guests - astounding!?
good location, good customer service
room too small, too cramped
