Friendly helpful staff. Fabulous location. Excellent selection of tea and coffee. Very clean. Lovely stay. Will definitely return.
Good views, nice breakfast. Very helpful staff. Nice to be on cathedral grounds. Quiet inside grounds compared to city centre. Hotel organised parking for us inside the grounds which was helpful and much cheaper than the city centre at £6. Room was exceptionally clean. Comfy bed.
Quite hard to find parking. When you come into Canterbury, you need to turn into burgate and then take the first right after the Thomas ingleby pub. It looks like it is exit only but it isn't. It's a manned gate. Re the stay, comfortable room, good views. However, walls are too thin. Could hear neighbours talking as though they were in the same room. Woke us up.
The location is fantastic, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfast was beautiful.
The room wasn't as clean as it could have been, hair on the bed and the back of the sink was stained pink. The headboards are very noisy and creak. If you're trying to get an early night and the person next door is sat up watching telly all you can hear is the squeaky headboard.
Fantastic hotel right on the Cathedral grounds and in the very heart of Canterbury. Very nice and comfortable with good view on the Cathedral from the room. The staff was very welcoming, the breakfast - superb and included selection of hot dishes to order.
Complimentary bottle of water in the room would be good.
Wonderful location overlooking Canterbury Cathedral (great view from room) and just a short walk from the old part of the city. Very helpful staff.
Breakfast was only 'continental' and rather uninspired. No hotel bar - felt a bit awkward sitting round in the library.
