The spa was inspired to create their signature Lavender Bliss treatment by the surrounding lavender fields, which incorporates freshly milled lavender and cold-pressed lavender oil to soothe the skin. The VinoTherapy Pedicure employs the power of the chardonnay grape with a foot bath while wine and cheese are also offered as a tasty treat. The spa also features seasonal packages and events, like summer solstice celebration or winter equinox immersion that are adapted to the prevailing season.

The Bernardus Honeymoon Package includes a welcome basket and a 5-course meal at the Lucia restaurant’s head table where the chefs will prepare your dinner in front of your eyes. A Vineyard Romance Spa Package is also part of the romantic deal and indulges with a chardonnay sugar scrub, ensued by a grape seed massage and a bubbly bath. A wine-tasting is also available.

All equipped with luxurious interior and modern facilities, the conference rooms vary mostly in size: The Meritage Ballroom covers almost 2,200 sq ft and is the ideal venue for a romantic wedding or bigger banquet. It also connects to an outdoor space of two acres. Vintner’s Suite is an intimate meeting space with a fireplace and flat-screen TV, ideal for meetings, team-building sessions, or workshops for up to 10 people. Team-building workshops in the Harvest Room are also a special opportunity to experience an interactive kitchen where you can chat with Chef Cal and watch his cooking demonstrations.

The Bernardus Lodge & Spa tennis courts invite to improve your game or learn it from scratch. Equipment is provided by the hotel and if you want, you can also take tennis lessons. In the close by Carmel-by-the-Sea, you will also find a great variety of things to do, such as art exhibits or simply a walk through its historic, European-style village center.
