Very clean, very nice
Wish breakfast would have been included. It was a little more expensive than I hoped for but I had no complaints on the hotel itself.
Always a pleasure - with everything I need
I have stayed at many hotels in Charlottesville, and the Hilton Garden is my favorite. It has everything you need - free coffee in the mornings, free cookies in the afternoon, (real) room service, a business center with a functional printer and ergonomic chairs, friendly staff, a workout room, a guest laundry, outlets for both plugs and USBs that are conveniently located (no crawling around).
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I will definitely stay there again, soon. It's right next to Starbuck's and large selection of eateries.
Staff was very nice. Rooms were clean. Restitant was nice good food
Excellent Experience, We will come back
The hotel and room were spotless. Room was quite large, extremely comfortable bed and bedding, nicely laid out, beautiful view of pond with white swans and ducks.. I requested a quiet location and they happily accommodated me. I'm an insomniac, and 10 minutes of continual noise means being awake for several hours. It was extremely quiet, so this was wonderful. The lighting in the very clean bathroom was also better than average for putting on makeup, & lots of counterspace. . Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was better than I anticipated. Definitely returning.
WiFi in room very slow & cut out, I gave up using my device. No complimentary continental breakfast, coffee and tea only. We don't eat a full breakfast, which was the only option, and it's not worth paying $11 per person for a muffin and banana. Fortunately, there is a Starbucks 5 minutes away at the top of the hill.
Situated in the historical district, this hotel is 0.4 mi (0.6 km) from Aboriginal Art Museum and 3.1 mi (5 km) from Downtown Mall. Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital and Historic Court Square are also within 3 miles (5 km).
