Someone had smoked in the car. The waiver I purchased was not from a third party, not what I wanted. I shortened the rental, but did not get a refund of the waiver for the days I did not use. The smoking smell of the vehicle was pretty bad.10.0 Excellent

Pros:
I liked when this horrible ordeal was over...NEVER AGAIN. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS!!!Cons:
I booked online with Kayak and had two other adults present as we verified the pickup/drop-off locations, amount, etc. I then received a confirmation email. The email had the wrong drop off location. I started by calling the pick-up location and learned that they had NO vehicles at that location. I then had to run to two other locations including the Atlanta airport and a hotel in downtown Atlanta to finally a get a car, but not what I rented. They also tried to turn the $255 rental into an over $1000 rental. Interestingly, I booked this with Kayak, the paperwork confirmation email said Expedia, and the car was of course, from AVIS....and each of these crooks tried to blame the other and did nothing to remedy this complete failure on their part. Two different counter clerks said that they hear this all the time as the online booking companies over-book available inventory. Classic "Bait and Switch" deceptive business practices. They simply left all the burden on the shoulders of the consumer. Complete circus.2.8 Mediocre

The fact that AVIS offered a discount to AARP members.Cons:
After the agent put in the AARP code, the price jumped from $320/week to over $700!! He promised to fix during the rental pick-up process, even called the manager in our presence who promised to adjust the price to the AARP discounted rate, but he never did. When we returned the car the $700 price was still on the invoice and we're still fighting to get it fixed.....two days later!!! Terrible!! Cons:
I booked the car till Sunday and it was 189$ for 3 days. When I took it , Hertz told since they are closed on sunday, they will charge till Monday rethought i don't need car after sunday noon. They have drop box and still they will charge till Monday. This would have been informed earlier. I booked reservation for 189$ but have to pay more. If I drop in airport they told they will charge transfer fee. So no way I will get for the amount in the reciept10.0 Excellent

I didn’t notice until after the drop off the molding on the rear driver door was extremely worn and I never utilized the back doors so it’s concerning that I could be held responsible for something I didn’t cause! I have taken photos in the event it’s addressed with me2.8 Mediocre
