This car hire worked out very well. Staff were polPros: We got a decent standard car. It was economical. Staff were helpful and spoke good English.Cons: Can't make negative comments as we were very satisfied overall.
Junkcar and tried to overchargePros: Listed price ok.Cons: Customer service, inexistant. No recognition of Hertz status. Tried to overcharge for 'late' delivery, while car was reserved for a pick up time within the agencies opening hours. Car was junk...

Honest ReviewPros: It was a very convenient pick up and drop off location. Personnel on site, top notch, hats off to them.Cons: The car was dirty, not clean, plus it had a lot of scrapes and small damages all over the car exterior. Interior was dirty and seats had small stains and old gum.
Friendly staff and best price aroundPros: Very friendly staff and good prices. The return was super! Very friendly guy at the parking lot, super smooth return.Cons: The baby chair was awful, they only had older models thrown in the trunk of a car and they didn't know which ones were good for a child of 9kg. The pick up took a very long time because the person working at the lot just circled around in hot weather. Didn't get us started well.

They closed the pick up location and did not notify us.Pros: The address of the pick up location was a closed storefront. No one notified us of this closed property and sent us on a wild goose chase. The car we rented was not cleaned from the previous rental. The windshield was so dirty we couldn't see out. It was a Mercedes-Benz hatchback, which did not hold two suitcases. We had to leave one suitcase in full view for the week rental subjecting us to potential thieves.Cons: We have never owned or driven a Mercedes-Benz before, and it was no more luxurious than an economy car in the Opel Chevy Ford categories.

insurance confusionCons: insurance bought from kayak doesn't correspond to what the rental company offers and they said that it basically didn't cover anything and that we should buy insurance from them. It's confusing what the actual coverage is and seems like I spent $19 on nothing to then have to buy insurance again from the rental company.
Croatia’s small size and generally well-maintained roads make the country a dream for road tripping tourists, and Zadar is no exception. Travelers visiting Zadar should consider renting a vehicle simply because a car offers the best way to explore the neighboring coastline. For instance, just 16 km (10 miles) from Zadar is Ninska Laguna Beach.
The most convenient place to pick up your hire car will be at the airport. For travelers with flights landing at Zadar Airport, you can find the hire car counters located in the Arrivals Hall of the airport and just outside in an adjacent parking lot.
Zadar’s streets can be somewhat confusing for drivers new to the city as there are many one-way roads, particularly in the Old Town. This can make navigating the city difficult at times, as many drivers are used to two-way roads. It is highly recommended that visitors have access to a GPS device or use their phones as one during their time in Zadar.
Zadar, while not featuring the heaviest rush hour traffic, does have a minor amount of congestion during the work week. In general, drivers can expect rush hour to start up around 7:00 a.m. and to cool down around 9:00 a.m., while in the afternoon it picks up around 4:30 p.m. and finishes just around 7:00 p.m. Though most of the roads don’t have too severe of congestion during rush hour in Zadar, Jadranska Magistrala often does. So, if possible, make a point of avoiding it during the busiest times.

Zadar, like many of the cities in Croatia, has well-maintained roads that are suitable for a wide range of vehicles. The most popular cars on the road are SUVs, hatchbacks, and sedans. Occasionally larger vehicles may be difficult to drive on some of Zadar’s narrower roads and smaller parking spaces, but otherwise they shouldn’t cause too many issues in Zadar. Petrolprices are on the higher side, however, so it may be worth considering renting a more fuel-efficient vehicle.
