Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera - Zadar - Building
1
9.2 Excellent (2,352 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Largest wellness & SPA center in Zadar spanning over 6000 sqm/ 64500 sqft. Exceptional location, on the tip of the Punta Skala peninsula, offering fantastic panoramic view of the Adriatic Sea and local islands.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, staff was great, the spa area is perfect, we will come again definetly!
7.3 Good
Pros: The grounds
Cons: The room The hotel No air conditioning The shower in the bedroom The toilet in the closet The hotel corridors The restaurant Hotel impersonal feels like aquatic city for adults
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We like the amenities of the hotel. Also, the food is amazing, it had variety, deliciously prepared, and service from the restaurant exceeded expectations. It is amazing. Also, the pool is quite nice, although we missed reading the fact that the SPA is a nude area. They put a lot of thought into the New Year's evening, a lot of attention to detail. Cleanliness also exceeded every expectation, cleaning ladies come two times a day and make sure you are not missing towels, a clean bathrobe, everything is cleaned thoroughly.
Cons: The room is a little odd, there is no door between the bathroom area and the bedroom, only a curtain...so this means after you take a shower, all the humidity stays with you in the room if you do not open any windows or doors (which is a little uncomfortable in the winter). Also, soundproof is nonexistent. If you want to sleep in the afternoon it is impossible, you hear everyone talking in the corridor, passing your room, your neighbors also.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's services are very generous. The buffet selection was very rich: the food was made from premium ingredients, and the chef did a great job too. Great value for the price, I would recommend to everyone.
Cons: Not the hotel's fault, but booking itself was a horrible experience. Long story short, after I booked the room for 4 pers. incl breakfast and dinner, I received a message from the hotel that they would charge some extra few hundred euros for the breakfast and dinner. As I wrote my complaint for the booking.com, they replied that I should have seen the hotel's terms. I replied that they were wrong, and please check it again, but they have not answered nothing at all. There is no 2-way email communication, so you can not be sure if they even read it or not. After 10 yrs I may have to suspend using booking.com if this is how they handle the complaints (actually I was right, the hotel did not charge any extra, so the booking.com's customer service was not only unhelpful, but they were even wrong in how to interpret a hotel's rule)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is exceptionally welcoming and professional, making up for whatever is missing. On the last day, they seemed to make sure everyone gets served, even though official breakfast hours ended. Very grateful for complementary water, including one for the road. Also, great breakfast offer, especially the juicer.
Cons: Do read the small print for parking that is also charged. For the price of accomodation, parking could also be included. Relaxation room is simply too small for the size of hotel and number of guests, with only 4 swing beds that are constantly occupied. Also, if you are looking for a massage, make sure to book in advance, otherwise you might have problems finding a slot. These are perhaps minor details but do affect the overall impression.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really a 5 star Hotel, helpful staff - specially the breakfast restaurant crew which handeled the big crowd with a smile and great service.
Hotel Pinija - Zadar - Building
2
8.6 Excellent (2,172 reviews)
Overview Reviews

Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Zadar? This hotel has facilities measuring 1851 square feet (172 square meters), including a conference center. 5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice location, very good food.
Cons: Staff need series of some serious, professional trainings. Otherwise, this hotel (and guests) will continue to suffer on many fields.
6.0 Good
Pros: Variety of food, especially for breakfast ,side dishes and kind staff working in restaurant and in housekeeping department. Rooms with bathrooms: cleaned and well maintained . Rooms with a nice views. Price of the drinks for lunch and dinner were resonable. Swimming pool was well heated. Location near Zadar and its monuments
Cons: Bathrooms don't have enough hooks for hanging the towels and bathrobes, one above the toilet that is not handy because of the hanger for the toilet paper that keeps falling and another one above the bath which is not enough for 2 people . Hotel Pinija wants you to reuse the towels to save the natural resources but you end up at the evening reusing the wet towels and bathrobes that couldn' t be dried because there is not enough place to hang them. When you take off your pyjama in the bathroom before the shower there is no place to put it or hang it beside to throw it away on the floor. Swimming pool has the signs that is not allowed to jump but there were many kids of all ages jumping each day and doing crazy things and nobody of the hotel staff didn't tell them to stop not to put themselves and the others in danger. Luckily no one was injured. Also the little kids who were not swimmers swam with their nappies in a big pool instead of swimming in the kids swimming pool. Showers at pool are all broken and someone will get injured sooner or later. The people brought the food in the swimming pool area, too. Very unkind man who works on the pool don' t put on the pool nozzles at evening even if you ask him to do so. Wellness is fully booked no possibility for any kind of treatment in 4 days and it does not take the kids who are 15 yrs but it takes the little ones up to 12 yrs for massage and manicure accompanied by 1parent. Restaurant serves awful desserts made with instant creams coloured in white ,pink or brown, completely tasteless. Their biscuits are filled with same instant creams or put in a small jars as parfe. You can even taste the powder of the cream which needed more water/ milk while it was made. In Petrčane where the hotel Pinija is located there is not a single restaurant open in early November.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great host - sanja is very responsive and helpful. She helped us find parking (easy, just 5 minute walk). The sitting area is quiet, room is lovely and spotless. It’s very quiet. Tucked down an alley. You’d be lucky to stay here.
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.

Pros: Amazing food, friendly staff, great pools, the kids loved it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms, good beds, excellent food (for kids and adults), good pools, good spa center with 2 big saunas which were not crowded at any time; kids really loved the big playground; overall excellent family hotel!
Cons: Overall it’s a clean hotel, but maybe it could be a little bit cleaner
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Waterside was fun, pools are enjoyable. The coastline is very nice to walk
Cons: Cleaning the beach and shoreline of garbage
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing, they made an extra effort to make us feel welcomed. The pool and the beach are very nice. The variety of food is impressive.
Cons: The logistics around parking could use improvement. You are required to park in a garage which is 100 meters away, but carrying language in hot burning sun with no trolleys is not easy. The prices are also quite high.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very family friendly enviroment, nice and friendly staff. Special thanks to the reception manager Ana for being really heplful with our booking. We'll keep coming back for sure.
6.3 Good
Pros: The food was good , the pools were very nice , and the beach was very beautiful. The whole resort was perfect. The rooms were very nice . The ambient was very family - friendly.
Cons: The staff was horrible , unexperienced . They caused us problems with the payment , and the reservation. They kept us there for like an hour just for the payment. They took us more money than the reservation (71 euro + 280 euro in cash). They tried to trick us with their money value ( Croatian Kuna ) , just so they could get what they wanted.

7.5 Good
Pros: Location & outdoor area Beautiful on the Ocean. Great breakfast cookef eggs to order
Cons: Mattress was in bad shape broken down, needs to be replaced
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in September 2019 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our room was clean and comfortable on the ground floor overlooking the pool. The staff were lovely and gave us a bottle of champagne on our anniversary. The hotel is within walking distance of three nice restaurants, a bar overlooking the sea, a cafe and a small supermarket. The number 8 bus runs every 20 minutes into Zadar.
Cons: Coffee and tea in the room would be nice. I need coffee when I wake up!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Check-in was really easy, and breakfast was very good. Matea was the best! She was SUPER kind, communicative, welcoming, and helped us with local information. :-) Great room with an amazing view from the balcony!
Cons: Parking was available nearby, however not specifically designated. At a busier time, it might have been tough to park.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: New hotel on the water with large bedroom and sitting room. Great pool area. Super staff that was exceptionally helpful when I had problems with my rental car. Two nice little beach bars within a couple of minutes and a nice restaurant 10 minutes by foot. 15 minute bus ride to the old town. A taxi costs only 40 Kr. Nice and peaceful to get away from from all the bus loads of tourists. Not a hotel for the night club crowd.
Cons: The mattress sagged in the middle and needs replacement, you can roll off. A missing feature for this ambient kind of hotel would be an elevator as most guests were older.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view is incredible
Cons: Bed was old and uncomfortable and bathroom so small
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet, taxi or bus very easy Access.
Cons: Perfect hotel. Maybe need a bar with the pool.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The bus service was very good The breakfast suited us, with eggs cooked to order
Cons: The pool could have been warmer. The sea was really warm and only 15 yards away There was no smoke detector in the bedroom as far as I could tell

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good value all-inclusive hotel. I would not usually stay in such a place for one night but it was in the right location for us. Good room and facilities. Plenty of choice of food.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Karlovasko is just as good as any of the belgian pilsners.
Cons: There are homeless people in brussels sleeping on better mattresses than the ones in this hotel! The food was not good... Mediocre on the best of days often just bad. Except for the beer all the drinks are horrible. Not a lot to do around the hotel either
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Not too far from the airport and not too distant from the old town. Fab selection of food in the restaurant.
Cons: Bit quiet but it was nearing the end of the season. No sunbeds around the pool maybe also due to it being the end of the season.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money Close to beach Fantastic variety of food and drink
Cons: × lighting between building was so poor I was very nervous at night walking over × rooms to right in main building have no lift access × no tea/coffee facility in rooms × very clean throughout but a bit dated
6.0 Good
Cons: I didn't like the fact they had no irons allowed in the rooms. I like a coffee in the morning and unless you went to the restaurant during the opening times you couldn't get one. They do have a coffee machine in reception but you cannot get one until 10am. I think they should switch the machine on by at least 6am for those who enjoy a coffee before breakfast. Do take your own tea bags too as the ones they use are dreadful
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean Helpful staff Beach front Excellent food selection
Cons: Lights needed on foot path between main building and dining area Vending machine with snacks would have been helpful Tea/coffee facilities in bedrooms General areas a bit dated
4.6 Okay
Pros: Food is ok.
Cons: Booked for 3 nights but decided to leave after one night (moving to the old town peninsula) due to the very noisy and extremely tiny room.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Jacuzzi (everyone can use) on second floor balcony was great to relax in. Excellent food and brilliant service in the restaurant. Great view!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Looking passed the sunbeds the view of the sea and surrounding area.
Cons: Our room was on the sun deck. Didnt like the fact when we looked out there were people lying on sunbeds- not very private for us.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Sea view
Cons: Bathroom too dark
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was great. We had a lovely balcony that looked out across the sea. Absolutely stunning view! We sat on the balcony with a cold beer and watched the sunset....... one of those truly peaceful relaxed moments you don't forget! Staff were fantastic. It was my birthday and my girlfriend had arranged for the staff to put balloons and decorations in the room which was a lovely surprise! They were so friendly and helpful and the hotel is beautiful!
Cons: No complaints at all. It is a beautiful place! The only thing I would say is that if you are elderly or disabled, you might struggle with the stairs. I don't think there were any elevators in the hotel. Like I say this is not a criticism because it did not affect us at all, but just be mindful if you do happen to struggle with stairs.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and clean room. Nice modern decor and felt homely. The bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the skylight feature in the room. Sofa living space was good and lots of storage space.
Cons: A light was broke. Mini fridge was expensive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really quiet, right on the beach. Lovely staff. The room was small, but comfortable with a balcony. Great selection of hot and cold food at breakfast. Even had herbal tea! Highly recommended.
Cons: Shame about the 10 euro parking charge (we were aware in advance). There is a car park opposite, but it was full.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very nice ans helpful.
Cons: The internet is very slow. The connection comes and goes every 2 minutes. The water in the jakuzzi was a bit cold.
7.1 Good
Pros: Other then the manager the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. On our check-in, the only waiter covered the reception desk, maybe short staffed, but he still mantained s cheerful attitude. Overall this property is clean and comfortable and pretty near the average for this price range.
Cons: A simple request, a stopper was missing from the room sink but was told by the manager that one was not needed as we were staying two nights only. When we explained why one was needed he became agitated. He even came out to our dinner table later to say that we were the type of guest that would keep finding faults. Later he produced one and the next morning even wished us good morning. We did not want this small incident to spoil our holiday and left on a happier note.

Cons: The room was a bit outdated and with no extras.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Kind the owner of apartments
Cons: Staff wanted to scan our ID but it is illegal! Be careful. Poland and Croatia are in European Union and personal date have to be safe. Don't agree to scan your ID. At this apartment it is typical.

Cons: Only good impressions
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner was really kind and he provided us all info
Cons: The only problem was the payment because the pension accepts just cash
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Zoran is the nicest host that I have ever met !! He arranged everything for me and I didn't have to worry about anything during my holidays, he told me what to see, where to go and eat and each day greeted me with a smile. Breakfast was delicious and I even received something extra to eat during the day. Room was very clean. Rooms are simple but they have everything you need during holidays. There is nice walk distance to the beach and old city. All the staff was so nice that they have made my stay very good one!
7.1 Good
Pros: Zoran was very helpful with tips on what to see & where to eat.
Cons: Rooms are very small especially the toilet. Your knees touched the wall when you sat on the commode.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super! Everything was great, breakfast amazing and Zoran is so welcoming! We loved it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was nice, about 20 minutes by walk to the port. The road is easy to follow. The room was clean, we had a car and we were able to park in front of the hotel. The landlord/manager was friendly. Just one complain, they only accepted cash and we had to withdraw some money (it was our last day in Croatia). Otherwise everything was fine.

Pros: Top location, city center Very clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean spacious room excellent location.Easy connection to keyholder
Cons: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location to explore the city and surrounding areas. Check in process was simple with easy contact to the host who met us outside the property even though we arrived quite late. The room itself was the best we have ever stayed in and the luxury part of the name was certainly correct. The bed was very comfy and gave us inspiration for what we will be getting in our own home. Perfect place for a long weekend or maybe even longer.
Cons: Could of done with an iron for clothes as we travelled with rucksacks so some things were quite creased when we got there.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location is very good. Host met us early to check us in.
Cons: No view, sockets hanging of wall exposed wires, lamp broken with exposed wires. Hole in wall covered by picture with some if the hole exposed at bottom. Could hear your neighbours, very thin walls. Could hear neighbour showering and using toilet. No soap in bathroom and no proper coffee making facilities with no spoons, sugar to use. Uncomfortable bed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was absolutely lovely! Big room with antique furniture just like in the pictures. Big bathroom with great shower. Everything was superclean. Location was perfect.
Cons: The acoustics were not great. We could hear the people above us walking etcétera. We woke up a few times because of this.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location good (situated between a coffee shop and gelato shop both we recommend) Clean, tidy apartment with nice thoughtful decor. Includes small fridge, kettle. Tea and coffee also provided which was a welcome addition. There was some toiletries which we weren't expecting.
Cons: Room description slightly misleading - garden view is non existing, however we didn't book for a view- we did get a quieter room which was back of the building. Front of building is facing a busy cultural area. What would increase the rating is a little more attention to smaller details such as adding teaspoons and glasses for guests; maybe some local information especially as Zadar is such a historical, cultural area to visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: Nothing

Cons: The location is a bit far from the center but on the other hand, there are wonderful beaches Zgon, Puntamika and Diklo nearby, where you can go in 5 minutes when you are already done with the sightseeing in the old town.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Courtesy, and very clean rooms, silence at night
Cons: Some rooms are a little old

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place, excellent staff they provide me everything I want. Definetly it was a pleasure t9 stay there. Thank you for all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hospitable staff, amazing view from the balcony, clean and tidy room and a good selection of food for breakfast.
Cons: It's a bit hard to find it the first time because street numbers are a bit weird.
6.7 Good
Pros: The breakfast buffet and the lovely ladies who served it.
Cons: The Proprietor who checked us in and in particular we did not get the accommodation that we paid for, i.e. a two bedroom apartment with kitchen, dining and lounge, and a balcony with sea views. We got got a bedsitter with no room for four people to sit and watch TV, a bathroom and another bedroom. The Proprietor got very angry when I insisted this was not what I had booked and said we could leave then. The youngest of the four people travelling was 76; all healthy, but still it was not convenient to have one couple having to sleep in the lounge area.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb location, super friendly staff, sea view, great stay
Cons: Very compact rooms
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view of window and location are perfect.
7.9 Good
Pros: A beautiful hostel, well designed and with enough good facilities. And the location couldn't be more perfect. It's really in the heart of zadar. Oh, and the small breakfast was a nice plus!
Cons: The room was really really small, i mean...tiny. if you have a medium size luggage and happen to stay on an upper bed, good luck unpacking and packing your stuff. It's gonna be tough. The shower was good, but, again, so tiny it's hard to even move. And there's no hanging on the wall nor anything to put your stuff, which makes the whole process of taking a shower a really complex task.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were outgoing, friendly, and helpful. The location was perfect. My room was quiet even though it overlooked the street (AC was needed to keep the room cool, but also helped with white noise). Breakfast was tasty. It is located within walking distance from the airport bus stop. I would happily stay there again.
Cons: Checkout is at 10.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff and security were amazing. Great location, clean, comfortable, and a sense of privacy. Outdoor and indoor spaces, great shower temp, cool secure lockers, and bed towels provided. Cute and nice wake up treat. Thank you!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT ONLY MINUTES FROM THE CENTER OF ATRACTION. THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFULL IN EVERY WAY. THE RESTAURANT WAS A DELIGHT AND VERY ATTENTIVE TO YOUR WISHES AND PREFERENCE.
Cons: NOTHING
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in "the apartment" and it was our best room of the whole trip to Croatia. The "Niko family" including all 3 daughters are all here and still working at the hotel. This is the apartment they lived in and just started renting it out about a year ago. Large rooms, huge balcony with a 180 degree water view. The staff was amazing and Martina was super. The other rooms were nice and half the price, but the apartment was our "splurge" for the trip. It had a full kitchen, washer and dryer and the refrigerator was stocked with wine, champagne, water...all included. The breakfast was outstanding, hot and cold items, omelets, etc made to order. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the "father" cooked right at the table. We're told he checks each order before it goes out. This is a great hotel, highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing. Value wise for "the apartment" it might be a bit overpriced, but we loved it and would do it again.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms, good breakfast, nice location, very friendly helpful staff, great experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a fabulous family run hotel. Really friendly and welcoming. great rooms, kept spotlessly clean, with kettle tea and coffee. Breakfast was excellent with freshly made eggs to you order, great spread of food. The restaurant, voted one of the best in Radar, if not the best, but colleagues from Zadar, was impressive. Fish fish and more fish!! All in all a gem of a hotel, open all year round and just old fashioned nice.
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was easy to find. We had a hire car and free, easy parking was appreciated. We stayed for 3 nights with 2 rooms on the second floor. Second floor views are better as the hotel is at a 90’ angle to the beach and there are buildings next door. Out of season the town was very quiet and for 1 night we were the only guests. It took us 45 minutes to walk to the old town , but taxis were cheap and easily available. We could hear the sea organ from our balcony which was great! breakfast was good with sufficient variety again considering how quiet they were .Beds were comfortable , showers ok. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The restaurant was closed in the evening , but we were warned in advance . I guess we could hardly expect them to keep it open for 3 people,! Reception recommended some local places , mamma Mia was excellent. Outdated keys for doors and safe need sorting at some point. Otherwise all good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked, first and formost, the wonderful staff. Their friendliness, and desire to make our stay as great as it was made this experience. The room is bigger than most European rooms, in great condition, comfortable and the houskeeping staff made our return ..special in a kind way. Very good breakfast. Old Zadar just a few minutes away by car, but this place has a beach and the Adriatic just across. I think it's a best bet in Zadar. In a culture that doesn't leave many tips, I felt compelled to leave some for room and restaurant staff. Thanks.

Pros: Everything was perfect. The apartment is close to the bus station, close to the sea and old town. Easy check in and check out, Sanja came in 5 minutes to give us the key. We had a good breakfast at a nice restaurant and very special welcome drink. Thank you!
6.7 Good
Pros: The location of the apartment was quite close to the Zadar Bus Station, which was convenient for us. The staff Sanja warmly welcomed us and helped us check in. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable letting us slept so well.
Cons: Only cold water came out from the shower after using it for about 10 to 15 minutes. I have not finished my shower, and my partner even has not started his shower yet. We have contacted the staff, and they have not come to fix the problem, but asked us to wait for a while. That night we took our shower with cold water, with some hot water boiled ourselves using the boiler provided in the room. In the morning there was still no hot water.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very central to town centre. Accomodated us checking out at 11am.
Cons: Breakfast at pizza restaurant was not suitable for breakfast. Didn't go the second morning. Supermarket close by 4 flights of stairs to climb... which is fine but maybe a challenge for some.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved the value for money, the staff, the added extras like coffee, tea and homemade alcohol. It is a nice clean and cosy place.
Cons: The only downfall was the first shower was warm and the next two were cold
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a nice place in a rather drab neighborhood, however it is close to the old city of Zadar. The beds were comfy and the coffee very good. Great value for a family of four.
Cons: The bathroom was a little smelly.
6.3 Good
Cons: Not well maintained.

Pros: Excellent location, great rooms
Cons: one of the beds had a very noisy mattress
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The position was at the centre of everything.
Cons: Not being able to pay up front.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great position - comfortable - clean.
Cons: The almost aggressive need to state that any marks on linen towels etc would be charged extra! As with any late checkout - another full day would be charged. The person checking us in was clearly in a hurry and while competent, was not particularly warm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was fantastic! Right in the centre of Zadar. Its only a small old town really, but to be right in the middle was great. Just below the apartment were cafes, a supermarket, loads of restaurants, ice cream shops etc. And it was a 5 min walk from the bus stop which connects to the airport and main bus station. The room was clean and comfortable. Although we were right in the centre we didn’t hear any noise really, and the shutters on the window were complete black out! Slept really well. Paula who met us was friendly and helpful, with excellent English.
Cons: Nothing!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: No in room coffee and too noisy.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent, central and easy to find near the main square. Breakfast is nicely served at the table, plentiful, good quality and hot. The room is large, modern, restful and quiet.
Cons: No complaints. Everything worked. The shower was large and easy to use. I liked the décor, in peaceful tones of beige and caramel. Lighting good. Not overlooked. Quiet, efficient air conditioning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel and its staff was incredible. We are from the U.S., and am used to staying at Hilton, JW Marriott and Kimpton hotels, and of all the places we stayed in Croatia, this was my favorite. You are right in the heart of it all, and no other hotel can offer this. If you open your windows at night, you'll hear the live music that plays most nights. There are only maybe 12 rooms, so book out far in advance. They also had the best breakfast...we always buy the breakfast option in our rates for all the hotels on our trip. Staff was exuberant and helpful, and made us feel welcome every time we left and came into the lobby.
Cons: It's in the center of the city, so you have to park a few blocks away, then drag your luggage through the streets to the hotel. No cars allowed on the city streets.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was in town-perfect for exploring. Room was beautiful, good size bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: In the heart of town. The breakfast is one of the best. The receptionist is thoroughly helpful and although there is no car park, the public parking is just 100 m away.
Cons: Not much natural light to the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome stay in the centre of the city. The hotel is very clean and accommodating. The beds are comfortable with high quality linens. The front desk clerk was cheerful and welcoming. The breakfast offered great selection with an added touch of freshly squeezed orange juice. The location of the hotel is central to all that Zadar has to offer. The biggest dilemma was finding the hotel after parking the car, perhaps the signage could be enhanced with bolder colour and made larger as it took us 45 min of wandering around pulling our luggage to find this wonderful hotel. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
Cons: Difficult time finding the hotel perhaps due to poor signage or maybe we were tired as this was the end of our tour of Croatia. The only suggestion would be a bigger and bolder sign identifying the hotel. But once we arrived and were greeted by the front desk clerk our expectations were exceeded in every aspect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Morning coffee was good. We enjoyed the room. Staff was always very nice.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, great location, friendly staff.
Cons: Small dark room, looking into neighbours lounge room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was convenient, very clean cozy and quiet. All the staff were friendly professional and helpful. Marina and Ivan were extremely helpful with travel logistics. Appreciated their wealth of information and friendliness! Highly recommend this hotel!!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Good food, great service, nice bed and great bathroom.
Cons: Challenging parking situation, but not unusual for an old town hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartments are lovely and the views from the terraces are gorgeous. The staff were all very lovely and helpful.
Cons: The location on the water front is beautiful however that does mean it's a good 30 minute walk to the old town. But you can hop on the water taxi or take an uber and that's much quicker.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our room overlooked the Adriatic sea and was a stunning view. Patris, the owner was very helpful and friendly and organised a car rental for us.
Cons: The pool is small and the kitchenette could have been stocked better with pots and pans, utensils etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property❤️ Absolutely loved the room, balcony view, bathroom’s vintage decor and the staff was extremely friendly - even their dog greeted us. Overall amazing experience
Cons: Nothing - it was perfect
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent! Especially Patrice at the reception!!! The location was great with a magnificent view to the sea and a nice pool for the kids.
Cons: The water stream in the shower was not good, cold and warm temperatures were changing all the time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Stunning views. Apartment was huge, clean and very comfortable. Staff very nice and they can arrange a taxi from/to the airport for a fixed rate of €25 which was perfect as buses difficult and take long time and taxis are expensive outside the airport. We arrived early but they checked us in straight away, which was great after an early flight.
Cons: Walk back from the town at night is bit long if after 11pm and the boat men are finished but nice being out of centre. Coffee at breakfast wasn't great but that's something small. Wasnt offered omelette first few days so didnt know was possible but offered few days in and was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great! the service was excelent!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff. Balcony views were lovely. Great recommendation for boat excursion. Spacious rooms; close to, but not in the congestion of OldTown. And a cute schnauzer!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I booked an apartment with terrace. It was super big and the terrace was amazing. Very nice pool also, good parking and nice people. Highly recommend it.
Cons: Although the position is right near the sea, the distance to the old town of Zadar is 30min walking. Or 15 min walking and then take a boat taxi. For my partner and I was not an issue but some may find it difficult to reach Zadar especially if you walk beside the sea because there is no sidewalk :(
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly equipped big apartment, nice staff and delicious breakfast: they make omlett if you ask for (unfortunately we found it out in the last morning :D).

Cons: Nothing
4.0 Okay
Pros: Close to freeway was the only good thing about this hotel.
Cons: Breakfast was weenies. We woke up to no water at all and could not shower, use the sink or the toilet. The ratings on the internet are overrated. We couldn't wait to leave and should have continued in our trip to stay in Zagreb where there are More hotels and places to eat, The date on the water bottle in the hotel room was expired. The sink stopper was stuck down and we had to put our hands in dirty water to pry out the stopped with the hotel key. When we checked in there was one employee running everything, check in, bar, restaurant. The TV was about 20 yrs old.
7.9 Good
Cons: The air conditioner could be a little better. It is noisy and not cooling enough. the water tap in the bath tub was broken.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet included was good.
