Location
I think it was way to expendive for standard of the hotel. It was not very clean. Bathrooms first imptession clean but ehen u look closer dust everywhere.

Dogs allowed in bar and lounge so we could eat there in evening. Breakfast great selection. Quiet location but close to town and park. Friendly staff.

The staff were, without exception, very professional and friendly. There was a hiccup over pre-advised vegetarian breakfast the first day but this was quickly rectified for our second day. The room was imaginatively decorated, bed comfortable, bathroom clean and with piping hot water, and the area quiet at night.
The room hot drink selection was poor - Nescafe and cheap hot chocolate. Although green teabags did appear on the second day the complimentary water was not replaced. Easily fixed...

Out room was by the front door so noise as people entered.
