7.9 Good
Pros: Grounds were very nice. Front desk staff was helpful
Cons: They closed both dining areas with no notice to guests for a private party. Can’t imagine they just found out about it. They even advertised a prime rib dinner special for Saturday night and when we got there it was closed for a private party
7.0 Good
Cons: We weren't crazy about having dinner at the tavern located on the property. We would have enjoyed a quiet dinner with music and some pretty good foods. Versus a bar with bar type food with a football game.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were nice. We did not go to the restaurant for breakfast, but did go to the Tavern for drinks and apps - which were nice,
Cons: We could not get the room warm enough.

Pros: Always a great place to stay.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Pretty buildings. Friendly lobby staff. Not very expensive.
Cons: Beware of chemical smell! Our room and the entire building we stayed in (Monroe, including the elevators and halls) all smelled very chemically. I think it might have been cockroach spray. The smell was very strong and persisted for the 18 hours we were there. I had a hard time breathing (I'm not asthmatic or anything like that), and unfortunately we couldn't open the windows so I just had to deal with it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The experience
Cons: Wish I had more time to enjoy the incredible scenery and utilize the facilities

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff went above and beyond to please guests! We loved the common areas. The place sparkled and it even smelled great!! Room was very very clean, and we are quite particular about cleanliness in hotels. Beds were SO amazingly comfortable!! We stayed only one night, for daughter's sports competition, wish it could have been longer. Also, breakfast was excellent, with a variety of hot and cold items, fulfilling and they had something for everyone, and it's free!! Loved this hotel -- we will be back!!
Cons: The only tiny thing we noticed was that the pool towels weren't stocked for the amount of guests with young people staying in the hotel on this particular weekend. Wish it had a hot tub!! Not much else to complain about, which is rare for us picky folks. This is a terrific property, well maintained, beautiful grounds, clean and friendly!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: large bathroom clean room good breakfast and fresh fruit all day
Cons: no
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms was very clean & big! Breakfast included is always a bonus. Would stay again. Checked in on a Friday evening. The man at the front desk was very helpful with ideas for dinner. I find it refreshing because some of my travels have a restaurant in the hotel & the only place they suggest is in the hotel. This hotel does not have a restaurant but breakfast was very yummy!
Cons: The book in the room had a list of restaurants you could go to. However, there was no addresses or what type of restaurant it was. I like to try local places & not go to chain restaurants that I can find everywhere.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The whole hotel was very clean, everything was pristine. Every employee was helpful and kind, making the stay welcoming and comforting. The breakfast in the morning was great with more than enough options. There isn't too much to say, in all honesty. This is a great hotel that offers a superb experience. I recommend this for all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was smooth and perfect !
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really great, the lobby is clean. The breakfast was perfect and well stocked. Really good shower pressue! I would return
Cons: The room was dark, small window for such a large room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were professional, helpful and polite. The general appearance of the hotel was of a good standard being clean and well maintained. I would recommend this hotel.
Cons: I had no issues with any aspects of this hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great 24 hour customer service, good breakfast.
Cons: The pool wasn't maintained as well as it could've been. We had to request towels each time and for the filter to be turned on. Also, our housekeeper didn't clean our room thoroughly. She would leave a lot of trash we couldn't fit into their tiny trash bins instead of disposing of it. She also seemed to do the bare minimum with each cleaning and didn't replace items we used as is customary.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: They did NOT have an indoor pool. They were extremely apologetic and very accommodating with EVERYTHING. They said the information on our third party booking site was incorrect. VERY disappointing since that is why we chose this place but- not their fault.
Cons: That booking.com had the indoor pool wrong :(

Pros: This facility is always very clean and nice to stay in. Breakfast is very good.
Cons: We did not have heat in our room. This is the first time we had this problem and at first it seemed that the front desk was not really concerned. They did send 2 workers to look at the heat; however, the problem was not resolved. They gave us a heater which did work ok but they whole situation was very inconvenient. Then the sink was leaking and they did call in someone from maintenance on his off day and he did fix the problem.

Pros: Location, basketball court, sitting area by the fire and check in clerk
Cons: The beds are horrible. We spent $200 to wake up in pain. We are professional truck drivers and came in on a quick business meeting and our sleep was horrible. 1.0 Poor
Cons: Heat didn't work and rooms and hot water in shower didn't work
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location relative to VCU hospital is great. The hotel is very well put together. No complaints.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Delta Hotels Downtown Richmond is beautifully designed, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. No wonder so many weddings and other functions are held there.
Cons: Although my stay last year was superb, this year I did encounter a problem; however, an employee made that problem go away, and in a very diplomatic manner. She made the difference for me, and I will choose The Delta again next year.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location.
Cons: You have to pay daily for parking even if you're staying in the hotel.....
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great! I love the location - close to VCU, the rates are reasonable and the hotel rooms are clean and the hotel is really nice. Really nice bar too.
Cons: room was a little small but that is ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was so clean and the bed was very comfortable! Lovely shower too! The breakfast was delicious. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Check in was quick and easy. Our room with two double beds was quite spacious. It had a good sized closet as well as a chest of drawers with three large drawers to be able to unpack, and not have to keep all of your belongings in your suitcase(s). The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The food in the restaurant was as well. Room service was quick, and the food was delicious and hot. I would definitely stay here again!
Cons: Nothing.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is convenient for events by the train station and capital. The room was clean.
Cons: The breakfast buffet was not worth the money we paid for it. It was very limited and poor value for your money. I would not recommend paying extra to get breakfast included. Additionally, the shower did not drain and caused issues as we were preparing to head out to an event.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was positioned facing the city to make a wonderful view of the Christmas atmosphere. The lights of the city excited the night. We had the suite and I would definitely recommend for a couple looking to enjoy a part of Richmond most don’t get to see. The room would be well suited for someone on business with a bedroom side as well a separate office/lounge with windows wrapped around and a beautiful view to make the office work a little more bearable. ** All photos of room and views. **
Cons: Front desk Staff was a little slow and not as friendly but it was late into the night when I checked in after a Christmas party we attended in the building. Not enough issue to make a fuss.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathroom floors were not cleaned
4.0 Okay
Pros: I loved the room setup. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the service was great. It was nice having a smart TV to watch netflix and we were happy to hear checkout time was at noon rather than 11 am. The water view around the hotel was beautiful and the food in the restaurant was good.
Cons: I had asked for an accommodation/request per our stay about us celebrating our anniversary as well as being first time visitors in Richmond and nothing was done above and beyond to make it personal or special. The parking was never advertised as needing to pay a fee nightly when I had booked the room and it stated parking was an amenity. When we had been offered to dine in the restaurant in the hotel, we were never informed it would charge a "dining fee." When we ordered room service for drinks to be delivered to the room, they had charged our generous tip twice. I had spoken with the waiter, and he had informed us of a "romance package" that was never offered on booking nor on the hotel website for a better deal. The walls were super thin, I could hear the next customer sneezing. When we informed the front desk upon checking out of our bill being so high and not understanding all the extra charges, they couldn't give me a reason as to why I had been charged and had mentioned to bring it up to management and that I would be contacted as to what they could do for me. Instead I received an email of my bill statement being the same amount I was told upon checkout with nothing fixed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Anything I needed was so easy and was taken care of effectively and immediately
Cons: I got incorrectly gendered when I went to check out

Pros: Very elegant and comfortable rooms beautifully appointed. Nice to have bar for stairs!
Cons: The bathroom was super spacious and lovely but needing a surface for toiletries. There was room for a piece of furniture to store toiletries which would have been helpful.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice lunch at the restaurant, there was a cat on premises who was a real show off and clearly loved by the staff.
Cons: Room was a little noisy with a loud fan, but honestly, no big deal.

Pros: The staff was amazing! Very helpful and friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the historic architecture of the hotel and the hotel's restaurant was superb.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent, couple of great restaurants within walking distance. Parking was right in front of the Inn at no extra cost. Safe neighborhood; quiet; reception staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Took the elevator to the third floor and exited on a back porch that stretched the length of the building. Our room was at the far end of the porch which then required that we more the luggage down the length of the porch, carry them down a flight of abt 8 steps across a landing and up another flight of about 6 steps. All a little strange, but a very nice place to stay.
7.0 Good
Pros: Room was nice, quite, convenient
Cons: Parking was an issue
5.0 Okay
Pros: It has history and I think that is cool.

6.0 Good
Pros: Loved the history and ambience
Cons: The room above our room was so loud, making it hard to sleep and it was just them walking around I think. The floor/ceiling was just too thin I think. The hotel has so much potential, just needs updating and a good designer
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The front desk staff and others working there were extremely nice and helpful.
Cons: No airport shuttle. The ad promised a shuttle but it only travels within 2 miles of the hotel. no restaurant or bar. Apparently coming soon. my hotel room wall had a very large crack with wallpaper hanging off it. The room was not properly vacuumed.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Manager don’t know how to treat their customers after all they are in hospitality business. Manager needs more training to deal with customers and hospitality.

We tossed and turned all night until we ended up on the sofa. We are two adults 38 and 43 and we spend time in alot of hotels and resorts and this here was an disappointment. We will be rethinking this chain of hotels
