Our experience at Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport was very poor. Firstly, the reception staff were extremely rude and dismissive. They did not pay attention when we spoke to them, and when we asked about parking, they confused us with conflicting directions every time. Pros (+) New rooms with an excellent bed and great bathrooms
Cons (-) Menu was decent but not overly extensive. Gym has all the basics you need but not overly welcoming facilities and layout.

Pros (+) compared to another Dublin airport I stayed at, it was better.
Cons (-) compared to most other city's airport hotels, Dublin's are poor quality and OVER priced. Lucky for Ireland that there are lots of Irish American's enamored with travelling to Ireland, but IMHO it's over priced for the so-so accommodations and service that you get in the country.

Pros (+) Very convienet to the airport (less than 5 minutes) and nice, newer rooms. The built-in USB ports for charging devices was an especially nice touch.
Cons (-) We booked two spots on arrival for the shuttle back to the airport for our return the next day, but when we came down the following morning at our scheduled time, they had not held the spots and the shuttle was already full. We did manage to pick ourselves in and make it, but not without having to go with the driver back into the hotel to the concierge desk, and even then 1 of had to sit in the is...

Pros (+) The hotel had excellent wifi, the restaurant downstairs was great and affordable, the airport shuttle was very convenient, the staff took great care of me by letting me check in a bit early, the room was spacious and the bathroom was wonderful. I'd had a chaotic 36 hours traveling internationally and needed a night to unwinde before my next flight. This did the trick.
Cons (-) Bit noisy in the day if you're trying to sleep, no a/c so it got pretty stuffy, bed was very firm, over priced but you pay for convenience I suppose.

Pros (+) Very isolated unless you come with a car. Unable to easily get simple things like snacks. The hotel is the only close source of food, consequently the prices are high. The hotel was clean and the staff were fairly helpful.
