The Pearly Hotel is located just steps from Konyaalti Beach and the beach vibes are strong here, with sea views from all the rooms. I particularly like the coastal-inspired decor, from palm prints to wave patterns in soft shades of blue.

I always book a corner room, which offers 180-degree sea views and a private balcony, with an upgrade option including a hot tub in front of a carved glass window. The on-site restaurant, Riviera Costa, serves up traditional Turkish flavours with a Mediterranean twist, while the buffet breakfast has options for everyone. If you prefer to relax in solitude, Le Spa Beauty can transform you with a range of treatments and wellness rituals.

Located right on Konyaaltı Beach, this is one of the best hotels in Antalya for those looking for an amenities-rich resort for the whole family.

Each of the rooms at Porto Bello Resort and Spa has a balcony for admiring the views, with options ranging from singles up to family rooms. The long outdoor swimming pool is not to be missed, and is where I end up most of the time: lined with sun loungers, it has a twirling waterslide for kids too.

Take the whole family to Ana Restaurant, which serves a variety of international cuisines in a buffet setting that will please any member of the family, or head to the Disco Bar for a late-night drink and dance. Elsewhere, you’ll find a modern gym, spa, tennis courts, yoga classes, and a kids’ club.

Located within walking distance of Antalya’s old quarter, the beautiful Prime Boutique Hotel is one of the best hotels to stay in Antalya. I particularly love how close it is to the city’s many historical attractions – it’s a delightfully luxurious spot to retreat to after a day of exploring.

The spacious rooms are decorated in a slightly more old-world style, with Turkish rugs, draped curtains, and dark timber furniture. For relaxation, the pool is surrounded by curved loungers under the shade, or head indoors to experience a traditional hammam at the hotel’s spa.

Every meal is taken care of at the Terrace Lounge Restaurant, which offers views of the Mediterranean Sea and has a variety of cuisines on the menu. Bike and car hire can easily be arranged for guests, meaning you can explore the surrounding region with ease.

For one of the most unique hotels in Antalya, head to Tuvana Hotel. Located at the doorstep of Hadrian’s Gate in the heart of the historic centre, this charming property is housed in several revitalized 18th-century landmark mansions.

I cannot get enough of the hotel’s traditional style, with old stone walls, exposed timber ceilings, and colourful lanterns. The beautiful courtyard features a cosy wood fire and lush plants, with outdoor seating for drinking and dining at the on-site restaurant, which serves both Turkish and international cuisine from breakfast through to dinner.

Just a 15-minute walk from Lara Beach, Holiday Inn is one of the best hotels in Antalya for a beachside retreat. Located outside the bustling city centre, it allows for a more peaceful stay, yet you can still reach the old town of Antalya within 30 minutes by car.

There are plenty of rooms and suites to choose from, each with a private balcony and views of the Mediterranean Sea. Amenities are aimed at business travellers, with meeting spaces, a spacious conference room, and shared desks in the lobby area, which I take advantage of during work-play holidays.
