Cons: "Online check in does not work, ever. Late boarding all 4 flights inconvenient access to boarding pass. Was required to stand in line for 30 minutes to get boarding pass for connection instead of getting boarding pass when I left. Also, no kiosk to get it myself. Just about missed my connection do to these delays. No one is in a hurry at this airline"
Cons: "Person in front kept seat reclined the entire time. Grrrrr"
Pros: "Checked in online. Got boarding pass. Dropped bag at Aer Lingus desk. All easy. Very cordial and helpful staff."
Cons: "Very uncomfortable plane. I’m small so usually I have some room to move in my seat. Not on this plane. Most uncomfortable ride ever. Once seat in front of me was back I could not retrieve anything stowed under my seat. No room to bend. Awful. Also plane seemed worn. The magazine rack in front of my seat was brokenness one side and kept falling forward on my knees. Had hoped to sleep during this redeye; not a chance."

Cons: "Aer Lingus imposes a maximum limit of 10 kg on carry on bags. For checked bags, there is a minimum charge of 35 euros which seems very high for a suitcase of 15 kg or less. The charge increases by 5 euros for each additional five kilos. We had to pay an additional 70 euros over our air fares. In order not to have to pay any more, we spent a good amount of time shifting items from one suitcase to another to avoid exceeding any of these weight limitations. One more hassle which takes away from the pleasure of traveling!"
Cons: "90 minutes stranded on the tarmac with no explanation. Not the way you start a trip. While the fact of being stranded was out of the control of Aer Lingus, communication was not."

Pros: "They sold us Crean's beer on board. We got to Dublin. Nothing else was good."
Cons: "We arrived 2 hours before scheduled departure and quickly went to check in. The line was very long with only one clerk working. After some time, another clerk appeared, but it took 2 hours in the line before we were checked in. The plane left the gate about 45 minutes late, but then we had to burn off extra fuel and sat on the ground for another 30 minutes. Very poor planning all around by Aer Lingus."
Pros: "Seating was comfortable though a tad bit cramped."
Cons: "Window was dirty from someone touching it on a previous flight. Cannot wear headphones during takeoff or landing was an inconvenience. Cons: "Could have done without the flight delay."
Cons: "The flight was cancelled."
Pros: "loved the interactive flight information, movies, and the food and crew were great"
Cons: "Getting through customs in UK and getting luggage tags to Dublin was a nightmare. Took over 2 hours, went through 4 lines to get luggage tags and given misinformation. Poorest travel experience in 40 years of traveling. Brits need to learn how to expedite processing."
Pros: "Not enough information"
Cons: "The flight times went explained properly very missleading"
Cons: "Finding out that I had to pay more for my bag."
Pros: "Kind and caring staff"
Pros: "I made it"

Cons: "Must you charge for tea?"
Cons: "That I missed the flight because of Iberia airlines"
Pros: "Boarding clerk was excellent. He was very helpful"
Pros: "Flights were on time"
Cons: "Boarding was a bit confusing and staff wasn't actively being helpful with information. Got absolutely nothing to drink/eat on the plane-not even a glass of water! The flight crew was just ok, no one "stood out" as good or excellent. Again, nothing about this flight made me want to definitely fly British Airways again."
Pros: "The Aer Lingus staff are brilliant!"
Cons: "Nothing to report"
Cons: "It would be nice if someone cared about something. It didn't seem like anyone liked their job or cared about the passengers. All seemed like corporate greed. I have flown over 40,000 miles this year. This was the most unsatisfactory flight. Come on guys, create a good environment for a win win situation. Happy passengers make more money for the corporation in the end."
Pros: "I liked the professionalism of the cede and the cleanliness of the cabin"
Cons: "I was a little frustrated with the delayed start"
Pros: "They got us there."
Cons: "We flew in from San Francisco to London on full-price Business Class tickets. Stupidly, I bought Coach tickets separately for the short leg to Dublin. British Air would not check two bags all the way to Dublin. For one of the bags, we did the measurements, and joined all the other people who haul extra luggage onto the plane for carry-on. For the other bag, sixty-five Pounds Sterling (about eighty-five bucks) for the other bag for a one hour flight. Wow! That put a big damper on the whole flight experience."
Pros: "I really liked how neat & professional the crew were dressed. The plane was new & the seats were comfortable."
Cons: "I didn't like that beverages (like water, juice, coffee) weren't complimentary. All the flights I've been on in the U.S. offer those for free, along with a small snack."
Pros: "No complaints about the flight. It was so short that we didn't even have time to get a drink or snack. Quite a bit of turbulence but I think that might be typical."
Cons: "Gate not given until last minute. The most cramped plane I have ever been on and I’m petite. No complimentary anything."
Cons: "Horrible plane. Sounded like it was on its last legs."
Pros: "Short flight, slept all the way!"
Cons: "Did not eat and no entertainment on this short flight so food and entertainment not applicable."
Pros: "It was quick"
Cons: "Food options were bad"
Pros: "My flight was changed at airport"
Cons: "Barely made flight-- no help offered"
Pros: "The staff onboard the flight was friendly."
Cons: "There was a last minute gate change that was not announced until boarding was closing, so I had to race across to the other side of the airport to catch the plane. There was no food/drinks provided on the flight."
Cons: "Worse experience ever!!!!"
Pros: "They tried to help me in person by making a phone call to the security gate."
Cons: "Despite the call to security (I guess it was to the security gate? Not sure) it seemed standard the way they spoke, not as if anyone seemed empathetic to my situation as I am a graduate student and was in dire need of returning to Dublin, Ireland for work the following morning. I have had a different experience with different British Airways representatives. The customer service on the phone seemed good, but in person, it just felt like robots following policy unfortunately. I spent $150 for a roundtrip flight and could not use my "Return" portion of my ticket. I arrived to the security gate and I could not be let in. My flight was even delayed which should have allowed me time to scan through security but it did not. My phone is temporarily unavailable as it is in the shop for repair, while I navigate a foreign country without the use of maps or access to email so easily. I checked my email at a random hotel in London for 1.5 hours, and 30 mins after I left, apparently an email was sent by BA to me, alerting me that I could check-in my luggage, instead of having to take it on-board as carry-on. All these details would have been nice to know a little more ahead of time. I wish I could be refunded for my flight, as that was the last flight of the evening, and I ended up having to go to Air Lingus to pay nearly 300 pounds to get on their last flight back to Dublin. As a graduate student, working on my thesis and fulfilling a job here in Ireland as the final leg of my Master's degree, any money saved is a help. Forfeiting half my ticket, and purchasing a new one twice the price of my original was not something I was expecting. I was an emotional wreck getting on-board my other airline's flight. Just not a positive experience that resonated with me overall :( I wish I had more positive insight to share, especially on social media or Yelp about my experience to London and back with BA. Plane was small, and complimentary drinks were not served as every flight I have ever been on in 30 years, and that is several several dozen, have ALWAYS given at least a drink, even if they didn't have peanuts/pretzels. Pretty disappointing.."
Pros: "Quick and easy!"
Pros: "Quick flight."
Cons: "Flight was delayed, plane didn't take off for a long time after boarding."
Cons: "The service was terrible and staff was unpleasant"
Pros: "The food was elevated and we were fed twice on our 9 hour flight! The beverage service was also provided often with a good assortment. I loved that there were new release movies available for free. The staff was friendly and available. If I were to do another long flight like that, I would seek out British Airways."
Cons: "Nothing to complain about"
Cons: "There was no entertainment for that flight."
Pros: "I was exhausted and so was my flight buddy. The staff was helpful and quietc and got us on board and to our destination without us having to think which was great."
Cons: "Because I didn't make it and I want my money back"
Pros: "Standard BA dependability. Like a dependable but stodgy old uncle."
Cons: "Chaotic boarding process. No enforcement of boarding groups"
Cons: "It was not British Airways but Aer Lingus !!"
Pros: "It was short"
Pros: "They keep the food coming in there are a decent range of TV and movie options."
Cons: "We booked an overnight layover flight and seemingly that confused all airports systems that we are unable to check in for both of our parts of the return flight. This meant we were not able to select our seats very far in advance for a return flight and initially my husband and I were seated separately but thankfully kind people on board were willing to switch with us. The gate check person in Dublin also on this in our bags to Boston but luckily caught her mistake within a couple of minutes and our bags didn't make it to our correct home destination on our flight back from Europe. We were never prompted to make any specific meal selection restrictions so my vegan husband was not able to eat anything on our flights to or from Europe. The flights were both kept very cold and of course the space and economy is quite tight."
Pros: "Flight staff was very good and so was the customer staff who were friendly but had to deal with so many missed flights."
Cons: "Ground staff management management was extremely poor: a. Flight was booked by BA with a 90-120 minute transfer time but LHR ground staff couldn't get the crowds flowing . And we missed every connecting flight. b. Informed ground staff that the flight was leaving in 90 minutes, and told them that we will not make it if we can't get into the express line but they told us "too bad". BA booked us and confirmed that it was enough time to catch our flights. We missed every single connecting fligh and had to wait 2-4 hours to catch the next flight. And we lost our seating arrangement which made it difficult since we have children. c. When we got to about 30 minutes to our flight then they switched us to the express line but it was always too late. Very disappointed with the BA airport management. d. A lot of people were trying to rebook flights, and that line became too long. I empathize with the BA booking staff but not with the ground management staff. e. Avoid BA if you have to get a connecting flight at LHR and it is within less than 2 hours, it was a poorly managed operation."
Pros: "The crew were nice."
Cons: "Aircraft is not even that old and is already massively out of date. Why offer wifi if there's no way to charge anything? In flight entertainment was awful. Poor selection or old movies. The water pump by the middle restrooms made a high pitched wine for about 7 hours of the 11 hour flight. I'll never fly Aer Lingus again."
Cons: "This really is more about the flight from paris to Bucharest: I’ve literally never experienced a worse ticketing and boarding process. Old planes, ride staff (even by remarkably curt and abrupt Romanian standards). Broken inline experience. Overall unpleasant. Seems to be flown only by Romanian families with hundreds of pounds of luggage. Like a caravan."
Cons: "I missed my flight because my previous flight was delayed 2.5 hrs"
Pros: "To be going home!"
Cons: "Female crew taking orders then taking ages to ring drinks a d they move on to others instead of finishing what they were doing. Then you're lucky if you get given 1 sugar and no spoon lol."
Pros: "Food was excellent; boarding a litlle bit crowded, but didn't notice as had been busy; crew has been kind and helpful"
Cons: "Unconfortable chair seats; seatbelt too short; tables too low for tall ppl"
Pros: "The flight departed on time and arrived the same. The seat was a tad bit narrow for me but then I am a tall guy at 6'5". Crew was very professional. Ticket cost was a third of what the other airlines were offering for a Sunday fare. I'll definitely use BlueAir again!"
Pros: "The crew was well trained, kind and receptive. The pilot managed to drive through a storm and even arrive 10 minutes faster after leaving 5 minutes late."
Cons: "Passengers traveling with pets took our reserved seats. The places for our baggages were occupied. When addressing this issue, we were told to move further ahead to empty seats. There was no meal included, and the one we purchased could not be paid by POS."
Pros: "I canceled the flight 6 weeks ago, no refund issued."
Cons: "I canceled the flight 6 weeks ago, no refund issued."
Pros: "Boarding was quick and we arrived on time."
Cons: "When getting to Bucharest we were taken by bus and didn’t have a gate."
Pros: "Everything was quite fast, we were like 15 min before the plan ready with boarding, but then somebody needed medical assistabce and we left 15 min delayed. But that's ok, it's nobody's fault. Baggage arrived very fast in Hamburg."
Cons: "A minus for the Crew because when we arrived in Hamburg, people started to open the baggage boxes although we were still rolling (like 5 min too early) and they didn't say anything, so more people were following. When we arrived, almost all the people who could, had the baggage already with them. This happened in the past but the Crew stopped the people on time."
Pros: "What to like? The rudness? The delays? Or the fights on board!!!"
Cons: "The flight was delayed with nearly 2 hrs. Cabin crew were rude made as feel very uncomfortable. This flight as whoke was the worst one I have even been too. Never ever again. BLUE AIR NEEDS TO SORT ALOT OF THINGS BEFORE OFFER SUCH SERVICES"
Cons: "I was unable to check n online (although the process was intitated well earlier than 12 hours prior to departure). The system charged y credit card for a seat reservation and then crashed with an error, both on my phone and laptop browser. When I called at 9:00 am (when their offices are open) to ask for help with what happened, I received no answer other than, "the check in system has just closed. I am unable to help you in any way". I booked another flight with another carrier, and did not take this flight., not do I plan to book with them in the future That being said, it is not the job of the employee to defend a poorly working system. Services need upgrade asap."
Cons: "flight delayed by more than 1 hour"
Cons: "I have booked with 2 checked in baggage pieces. On check in I was told no baggage was paid and I had to pay 100€ for the baggage."
Pros: "Boarding was good, flight and crew were good, had refreshments and food which came as a surprise. Overall I had a very good flight."
Cons: "I liked everything"
Pros: "Clean enough"
Cons: "Charged £60 for hold luggage because the airline’s unstable website wouldn’t allow me to book in advance (£20 extra in the airport). Plane was delayed because they were late allowing passengers to board and missed the runway slot. Seats were uncomfortable - it was an older airframe."
Pros: "Flight Attendants very good"
Cons: "Dusseldorf to Warsaw: Boarding terrible including assistance and messaging. - Boarding chaos - Late flight out of Dusseldorf (about an hour) - Just before landing, pilot announced all connections would be made - (and even mentioned chicago) - Connecting flight was gone when I arrived at gate, and I was quick in getting to gate from prior flight - next flight caused 5 hour layover in Warsaw Warsaw to Chicago Boarding terrible including assistance and messaging. - Boarding chaos - Late flight our ot Warsaw (about an hour) - no messaging at gate about reason for delay - kept increasing departure by 5 minute increments; started at 16:40 ended 17:05 (I beleive) - once boarding was complete, pilot said delay was due to wait for connections (boarding was an hour and 15 minutes late). Very frustrated"
Cons: "The plane seemed very old, toilet in poor condition."
Pros: "Flight was delay by 1 hour consequently my luggage did Ot arrive with me to Katowice on top of that there is no more flights today from waw to kat with lot Airline"
Cons: "Serive to pay extra luggage very very slow"
Pros: "The free snack (biscuits and drink). The hard-working attendant (having to stuff all the baggage into the overhead lockers). Boarding at the rear door enabling me to get to my seat early."
Cons: "A slight whistling noise coming from the rear of the cabin, not too bothersome but it's there (I think the plane is getting a bit old). Not being able to disembark from the rear."
Cons: "It was very hot on the plane. There was no legroom in my seat, it was very uncomfortable."
Pros: "Crew, polite and friendly"
Cons: "delay of more than 6 hours and incorrect information"
Pros: "company gave out free drinks and snacks"
Cons: "They change the fly departing time with 12 hours before I was flying"
Pros: "Easy to book on phone no problems getting boarding passes etc."

Pros: "Every thing."
Pros: "On time ,clean aircraft..."
Cons: "Crew was very serious...a smile can make a difference....."
Pros: "The flight went well."
Cons: "Bag drop off was terrible and stressful. We arrived 2.5 Hours early to drop the ONE suitcase and have brunch. We queued for 1.5 Hours to then be blocked as all six counters were given over to another flight and people who arrived LATER then us for our flight got to go first. It was incredibly stressful and frustrating especially when I checked in online before arriving at the airport. We had to rush and run through the airport and board at final call. In fact it would put me off flying with Blue Air again."
Cons: "Flight was cancelled a week before and didn't get a replacement flight. Got half of my money back. Will never book a blue air flight again !"
Pros: "Arrived early to destination"
Cons: "Lack of entertainment also limited drinks"

Pros: "Free drinks, cheap flight and fairly comfortable!"
Cons: "No allocated seat."
Pros: "Cheap in price, unexpected free snack on outbound flight, relaxed attitude to luggage, both hold and carry on, chartered unscheduled flight after original was cancelled"
Cons: "The fact our original flight was cancelled and we were delayed by 7.5 hours. They communication from the airport crew was little to non and flight time changed 4 times. They even told us difinitively that we would board at a certain time only for us to actually board nearly 2 hours later. They, without a doubt, knew the rescheduled flight time but strung us on anyway - I believe this was so they could save money on hotels"
Pros: "staff very friendly and polite ..airplane wasnt full so i get the chance to have a nice fly with my 2 little sons"
Pros: "Everything was awesome!!! I am going to buy only from you my next flights."
Pros: "Reliable and friendly staff. Even offered a free soft drink and sandwich on a short haul flight."

Cons: "Not applicable"
Pros: "The crew is very good"
Pros: "All was very efficient, food and drink a nice surprise"
Pros: "It took almost one hour in line just to check in. Also, the flight was delayed. They changed the seats and the crew was calling people who had previously booked breakfast because their seats didn't match what they had booked."
Cons: "We almost missed the plane because checking in took over an hour, since they only had one person for the entire flight. In addition, the flight was delayed and the food was not good."

Cons: "Minor delay at arrival; If you do not arrive at airport for check in with 90 minutes before flight, you have a good chance to miss it... airport is crowded in the morning, even on Sunday."
Pros: "Crew was very nice!"
Cons: "Amount of carry on bags were unclear and we got charged 50£ for having a second bag. This was very confusing and frustrating as we boarded. We were told it was for space but there was plenty of room for luggage."
Pros: "The flight was cheap."
Cons: "Flight was delayed over an hour because the pilot was late."
Pros: "Ryan air no hastle toom off on time landed early"
Cons: "Nothing great airline i use them all the time"
Pros: "Plane wasn’t fully booked so allowed for swift boarding and disembarking"
Cons: "The reintroduction of ‘quiet flights’, 2 years okay Ryanair has a big campaign, no announcements other than for safety before 0800 and after 2100. So people could rest on early morning and late night flights - this stoped some time ago. With no advertising.!"
Cons: "Flight was delayed significantly with no communication"
Pros: "No delay"
Cons: "Flight was late. Gate agent hassled me for my Irish residence permit without articulating that she wanted me to produce it."
Cons: "It was not Ryanair... It was KAYAK who fooled us."
Pros: "Fast flight"
Cons: "Mess at the airport, ryanair speeding at the gate but not with the flight"
Pros: "There is nothing to like about an airline that appears to have low fares and then nickel & dimes you for everything, typical bait-and-switch style of doing business."
Cons: "First of all, this airline needs to train their staff better. The gate agent I dealt with on a flight has no business in any field where she would be required to work with people. Second, this airline needs to get their s*@t together when it comes to baggage. I was humiliated (by the creature they hired for a gate agent) when I was forced off the boarding line and then demanded to pay 200 euros (cash only and in euros only) for carry-on luggage that was under the size and weight requirements, and had already flown, without incident, on numerous flights during the same trip. I filed a complaint with Ryanair and weeks later received a very passive, useless, response from some brain-dead individual in corporate I suppose. No one at Ryanair cared about the mafioso-type treatment my family and I, including my 80-year-old mother, received. Avoid this airline at all costs (literally and figuratively)! It will not save you money, or anything else. It will only cost you more!"
Pros: "I initially liked the initial low fare rate."
Cons: "I didn't like the checkin process online and being charged the 55 pound fee for not checking in early. I was having problems accessing my account and requested my password to be changed in the morning several times, however, they did not send me the link for the password change, and therefore, I was not able to login to check in correctly."
Cons: "expensive ticket when you add up all the fees, plus it’s stressful and chaotic."
Pros: "The staff is rude."
Cons: "Never heard of having to keep windowns open the entire flight."
Pros: "The crew was friendly and helpful."
Cons: "The flight was delayed and even the crew seemed to be getting no information about it. Ryanair did nothing to compensate their passengers for a 2 hour delay."
Cons: "My flight was missed from Stanstead to Dublin and RyanAir employees did not help me, they only wanted to sell me another expensive ticket."
Pros: "The crew were quick and efficient"
Cons: "The flight was delayed and we had to stand outside on the tarmac in the freezing cold for about twenty minutes before we were allowed to board."
Cons: "Worst landing I’ve ever had hands down. It felt like we dropped out of the sky. You get what you paid for."
Pros: "Nothing, I would rather pay more next time to take a flight that offered better service."
Cons: "After everyone qued to get on plane last minute change in gate, everyone stampeded to new gate, flight to London very stressful. While in England we were worried about whether we would even get flight back with reports that multiple flights were cancelled due to messing up on pilots vacations. No services unless you paid, the stewardesses constantly peddling items for sell which was annoying."
Pros: "They did not cancel our flight like they did others."
Cons: "Did not pay to choose seats and my wife and I were at separate ends of the plane - i had an empty row. SAME THING BOTH FLIGHTS."
Pros: "Fare was reasonable."
Cons: "Boarding process was slow and tedious. Asked for boarding pass by gate agent and flight attendant. Created unnecessary delay getting everyone seated."
Pros: "I liked nothing about this flight."
Cons: "I didn't like the fact that I was never allowed to board this plane and I ended up having to book a hotel for a night and then fly out the next day on an Air Lingus flight. As I found out later, Ryanair did send me an email saying that I would need to print out my boarding pass early. However, I had already left the U.S. and never saw that email. Then when I arrived at the airport, I was told that I would have to go to customer service in order to obtain a boarding pass. Then the line was so long that I could never obtain a boarding pass in time. No one was willing to help me even though there were plenty of employees standing around doing nothing. So I ended up buying three Ryanair tickets that were worthless. I will never fly Ryanair again and I would recommend that no Americans ever fly on that airline."
Pros: "The crew were really friendly and helpful. It was painless, quick, and easy :)"
Cons: "Allocation of seats saw my wife in 5c and myself in 31d. 31e was vacant."
Pros: "It was a quick flight"
Cons: "The employees were just as unhelpful flying to dublin as they were flying out of dublin. Simple questions were met with disdain and annoyance rather than polite answers. We went through 3 different people before finding out that we didn't need to go through any of them which the first person could have told us. By the way the first person was a customer service attendant and he swiftly moved us on to the next line to stand in which was completely unnecessary and a waste of everyone's time. I will never fly with ryanair again."
Pros: "Friendly and helpful cabin staff"
Cons: "Really cramped seating :-("
Cons: "thought i checked in on line; apparently didn't submit and was charge $50 euro x 2."
Pros: "Good service overall from flight crew."
Cons: "Left 20 minutes late and missed our next flight."
Pros: "Quick to unload."
Cons: "In flight costs"
Cons: "Confusion at the airport. I went to check in only to be told I have to wait in a different line to pay for a checked bag, went to the other line, waited an hour. Why wouldn't you let me pay for a bag when I check in? Instead of sending me to customer service. The flight was delayed, sat in the boarding line an hour."
Cons: "They never gave me a gate number and we ended up going to the wrong gate and missing our flight... We even asked for one and said it was our responsibility... Also we were charged 90 dollars for not registering online 2 days in advanced"
Cons: "Charged us 90 pounds extra because we didn't have access to the internet to check in the day prior. This is a very discriminating practice against those who can not afford to be on the internet. It should not be allowed and our money should be refunded. Shame on Ryan Air to have such a discriminating program. Cost for a one way trip from London Stansted to Dublin, Ireland for two, 45.72 for tickets, 58.32 for luggage, 90 pound fee for not using the internet, total 194.04 pounds. Cheap is relative?"
Cons: "Airport checking fee Baggage fee 45 pounds Crew behavior"
Pros: "Punctuality, cheery crew, decent leg room compared to some other airlines, inability to recline seats (great!)."
Cons: "Lack of seat-back pocket in front for book, newspaper etc."
Pros: "Cheap flight Pleasant flight attendants"
Cons: "Ended up missing flight because they said I didn't check in online. I did everything I was prompted to do (passport number, add a bag, etc), but apparently there was another button on the bottom of the webpage I had to scroll down and click. They wanted to charge us 45 euros each to check in onsite. The first person also said we didn't pay our baggage fee, which we did. Once we got things situated the doors were closed (even though the plane wasn't leaving for another 45 minutes) and they wouldn't let us through. They wanted to charge us 100 euros each to change to another flight, when the flight itself cost 39 euros. They wouldn't refund the baggage fee either! Apparently they can charge such a low ticket price because they get their money by scamming people out of it. When we finally DID get on a flight the next day, it was like an infomercial the whole way there...trying to sell people everything from water to watches. I would never suggest Ryanair to anyone."
Cons: "Awful checkin staff"
Pros: "Inexpensive bus ride to London from Dublin."
Cons: "Everything is an upcharge...bag check, food, seating choice...and then bombarded with trinket purchase, donation to charity, beverage and food purchase... Rough landings on both legs of the trip...like pilots still training on how to land. Weather was clear and beautiful, so was not condition- related."
Pros: "Really enjoyed my flight to London & back to Dublin with my Nieces"
Cons: "Would have loved it if there were some Irish stewards or stewardesses on board as it would have been easier to understand their accents and they tend to warmer & friendlier in their dealings with passengers"
Pros: "Friendly crew"
Cons: "The seats are to close to one another and gets unconfortable fast"
Pros: "Nothing. Do not fly. They are horrible and have horrible service."
Cons: "When we got up to the register we had to fork up over $80 for bags that could have even been carry-on's. While booking there was nothing stated about these charges. If this was going to be a charge it should have been made clear. Very unimpressed and displeased with the service from Ryanair."
Pros: "Ticket Price!"
Cons: "Luggage fee was as much as the ticket!"
Cons: "slow, disorganized check in. Boarding is hideous, I'd rather wait in a DMV line. Airline run as if consumer, and luggage, are to be avoided. I cannot understand why Anyone would fly them routinely."
Pros: "Early boarding for premium customers."
Cons: "I paid for a premium seat which was narrow and had hard sides instead of armrests, very uncomfortable. I ordered a gin and tonic until they told me no ice on the airplane. Are you kidding me? This is the first flight that I've ever heard of this, hello 1950."
Cons: "After experiencing a hardship, Ryanair staff refused to allow me to check a bag because I didn't have the funds. They made me unpack it and load it into a carryon. As a result I had to leave some valuables behind. They did not have a humane bone in their collective bodies. They charge you for EVERYTHING, including water. They're so hard up for money they sell lottery tickets in flight! Don't EVER waste your money flying with them."
Pros: "Cost Convenience"
Cons: "Walking across tarmac to board No music or anything"
Pros: "Got there early despite plane delay."
Cons: "Plane delayed and couldn't understand one crew member as she was speaking too quickly."
Pros: "Easy to book."
Cons: "We planned this trip several months out, then my husbands military orders (temporary duty) were extended. I called and called and called and emailed because I had stupidly purchased the insurance also. No one would help even because of the sudden change to our plans. So we're out money for all of us, and nothing can be done and no one will help. When we do make this trip later -- after my husband retires, I will not be working with any of these companies."
Cons: "All the last minute fees are more than the ticket price"
Pros: "If you are flying without luggage or carry-on, Ryan Air might be fore you."
Cons: "The airline charges a ridiculous amount for EVERYTHING! We bought our tickets and realized almost immediately that bags were not included. We tried to upgrade our ticket type to be inclusive of a bag, but took two hours to navigate their automated "customer service". Finally got through to a live person (which they charge for), they will allow you to upgrade the ticket if you bought through KAYAK. You have to purchase your bags separately, and 1 bag was significantly more than what our ticket costs. I contacted KAYAK roughly 5 hours after the original purchase, and they could do nothing because Ryan Air is a low cost carrier. It was cheaper buy Aer Lingus seats inclusive of luggage than to add luggage on Ryan Air. I will never fly Ryan Air again, and caution anyone trying to buy Ryan Air through KAYAK"
Pros: "The flight was short."
Cons: "This is our long awaited honeymoon. We have traveled and checked in to over 8 flights on this trip all across Europe. But with Ryan air, for some reason, I checked in for the flight but it did not accept on RyanAir side for some reason. I knew I would need to pay for excess luggage (not a surprise. I was expecting it) but then I paid to get up front seats with priority boarding. I had to enter in all the passport info, select seats and pay immediately.(figuring this is checking in, since it was all in the checking in section of he website) So all together a flight was originally $100, turned into a flight that cost me well over $300. Then at the airport, they told me I never checked in. I was charged £90 just to check in!!! Then on top of it I had the counter clerk call me a "bloody wanker" and asking if I have" ever checked into a flight before". He continued to berate me and insult my intelligence. When I asked to see a manager because at this point in only had 20 minutes to get to the boarding gate, he threw a fit and said I need to move out of the way or else he will not even check if the manager is available. The manager and the second clerk who helped is were very nice about things. Surprise fees and not even a small amount of compassion for 2 people who are on their honeymoon, insults, and paying more to go from London to Dublin than to go from Dublin to Manila (the next stop) is absurd!!! I will never fly RyanAir again and will do everything in my power to make sure no one I know will fly with them. Miserable."
Cons: "This is by far one of the worst companies I've ever used. They upcharge you for anything they can. Our flight went from cheap to expensive as hell really quickly. Extremely unorganized with awful pricing models. You would think in modern times that airlines like this would adopt new business paradigms. Their website was awful and out of date, they charge for seat selection, they charged an extra $65 per ticket for not checking in 2 hours before, check in bags were expensive and in airport services were crowded and extremely unorganized. If you can fly a different airline besides Ryanair I would suggest doing it. I would rather take a boat to my destination."
