Pros (+) Convenient to pedestrian town centre. Spacious corner room, but not cheap. Concierge helpful making dinner reservations.
Cons (-) Breakfast. Filter coffee very poor and very few people took it. Often had to queue for the single machine which produced coffee, hot water and a (not great) hot chocolate. Buy a second machine. On checkout the female receptionist did not ask if we had a good stay. Or if everything was ok with room. After paid bill she said thank you but didn't make any eye contact. Pros (+) I stayed in a small, single bed room at Hotel Europa in Cortina D'Ampezzo. From my window I could see all the way up valley and had the pleasure each morning and evening of watching the valley wake up and the sunset. It was incredible. The room didn't have A/C but it was totally fine. The window was large and could be openend completely and there was also a lovely balcony where I spent the nights ...
Cons (-) I wish the fridge was a little larger. I had to take out all of the provided drinks to make room for the food I prepared for my hikes each morning and for the dinners I made in the room each evening. This is a very minor complaint though.
