Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. The room is nice, clean and quiet with very good location in the old town. Free tee, coffee, snacks and cooled water.
Cons: There is NO parking place.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Fantastic! Beautiful historical building located in the city centre. Very good breakfast. I liked everything.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Excellent place in all aspects.
Cons: Only minus was the matras of the bed.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Excellent situation on a pretty little square. Excellent wifi. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Excellent English breakfast(called continental !)
Cons: I had not realise that the Nuvole is the annex to Palazzo Grillo: our room was therefore on the 4th floor of a different building. Rather cold and impersonal. You can reach the car park suggested by the hotel only once somebody has shown you on a map how to do it. Time wasted . Thé breakfast was ok but the fruit offered in one of the options was absolutely not ripe and therefore inedible.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good looking accommodation, with hospitable staff, a stone’s throw away from the center of Genoa. Overall peaceful oasis in a busy and gritty city.
Cons: This property is an add-on to a more established hotel and you check in at that other establishment. - The hotel spans the 4th floor of a residential building. The noise from the 5th floor residential floor kept us awake, especially pronounced because of the split level rooms. - The guidance to arrive at the hotel directs you to a car park at the port to which Google maps struggles to navigate. Would be great to get better warning for accessing the parking through the slip road in advance. Recommend arriving when the tuc tuc shuttle operates as it makes things much easier to get bags to the pedestrian area where the hotel is located. - The piazza borders a small sliver of a red light/ higher crime area, in particular Via San Luca which seems generally tame (despite the visible arrests and ladies of the night). Main advise is to avoid the vicolo (very narrow streets) in and around the area when there are few people around. Overall seems to be more ‘feels unsafe’ than ‘is unsafe’ but worth approaching the hotel from the north to avoid a negative first impression. - Design of room interior and bathroom is lovely, maintenance wasn’t all there with malfunctioning shower head and door. - Air conditioning worked but fan was loud, with no obvious way to reduce the speed and installation right next to the split level bed. Had to trade off between having it on and sleeping.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The apartment is beautifully designed, the room is spacious, and Emi is extraordinarlily accommodating.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We spent three days at Quarto Piano Rooms. The appartement is well situated and the building is a masterpiece itself. The host was amazing and of a great help. She gave us a lot of tips on what to visit and where to eat. Everything looked just as on pictures with a spectacular view from the terrace.
Poor 1.0
Cons: This is a very much sad experience, and I don’t feel the the future I will have similar experience. The air conditioner is not functioning. I tried to ask, but the answer is: it works not. The sheet is smelly, sour, disgusting smelly. I could not even sleep. Awfully sad experience I must say. I would not recommend anyone on earth to pay there a visit, at least not before remediation activities implemented.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic location. Beautiful old building with modern features. Breakfast included was great. Helpful staff.
Cons: Shared access with a neighboring hotel made it so you had to go through the other hotel after late hours to get to your hotel, but it was not a major issue.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Valet parking was great. Although they could not book a parking place, we arrived around 6pm and we could give them the car key so they parked it somewhere. The next morning they pickup the car for us.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: location is super, few minutes walking and you are in center city
Cons: breakfest, poor choices and if you in Italy, you expect really good coffee or cappuccino, but capsule coffee…its was bad.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Excellent location near the train station
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff was super friendly. Our flight arrived late in the evening and they went miles away to prepare us something to eat when everything was already close. The location couldn’t be better if you are planning to take the train.
Good 7.6
Clean and tidy. Breakfast good. Location good (next to station and bus routes).

Good 7.0
Pros: The host is very friendly and helpful. She suggested the best restaurants with amazing food and made our stay in Genoa awesome. We'll never forget the good times we had here due to her suggestions of which places to visit. It is also on a great location and everything is reachable on foot.
Cons: The AC was positioned directly over the bed in our room and the bed was not so comfortable as we expected for this price.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Modern and beautifull room and bathroom. There was a small fridge, the possibility to make coffee and tea and apart from a very comfortable bed also two chairs and a small table in the room. Very quiet and central situation; Easy to walk to all the sights in Genova. The owners are very friendly.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very nice and helpful owners.
Cons: Na
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The people at the front desk went out of their way to help.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We stayed two nights at this hotel and we loved it. Our host, Anna, gave us the best places to eat and the best things to see. She was very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were tidy and clean. The hotel is very well-located in the old city center of Genoa and is close to all must-see attractions and places.
Cons: The hotel is located in a typical Genoa-style narrow street and can be hard to find at first.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice hotel in the city center, very clean and a great welcome from Ana.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff was amazing and cared for us. The facilities were new and clean.
Cons: The area was a bit dodgy
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A very good welcoming, and great advices to discover the city
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Location to the old town is short.
Cons: Untruth information according to the parking! Don’t book if you want to spend additional time and money for parking (min 20€! and +40min!) - they rent out the spots “ month In Advance” and in this area of the town you better don’t park your car outside. No good service - no iron, you can’t change temperature in the hotel room. Small detail for all aesthetic people which hurts the eyes - they have Coca Cola posters as decoration (whyyyy??).

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owner is very friendly, location was good, breakfast as well, room was confortable and clean
Cons: No thing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: To stay here feels very much like a home. The host was very nice and also gave me tips for exploring the city. The breakfast was always nice and also the accommodation in general was more than enough. The location is good and just a few minutes away by foot from the old harbor and the city center. In general I really liked my stay and I can only recommend it!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The host was really kind and hospitable. She prepared lots of food for breakfast and was very accessible for any needs we had during our stay. Grazie!
Cons: Nothing :)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Felt like home and Fluvia made us comfortable. She is attentive, kind and respectful. It was like home away from home. The room is spacious and beautiful. Near the city centre with local restaurants and bars nearby.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The host was very kind and could give us a lot of interesting tipps for our stay in Genova.
Good 6.0
Pros: The place is nice, even with the shared bathroom. Breakfast was included and it was in general a fair stay. Nice people were staying.
Cons: I'm sorry to say that, even with the good hosting, we didn't appreciate the advice that the parking close-by was safe. When we woke up, the window of our car was crashed and two of our suitcases were stolen. The surroundings are not good. This place is better for backpackers, since it's cheap, but if you are traveling with suitcases or with a car or family, just know that you shouldn't leave your car anywhere near. The zone is not safe and there are a lot of dangerous people around. Me, my brother and my girlfriend didn't feel safe. Unless you are OK with such conditions, please avoid.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room with bathroom overlooks a very quiet (but a bit dark) street and, at night, it's very pacefull. I loved the typical genovese bohemienne atmosphere. The owners are the best part of my stay: they've been very gentle, accommodating, welcomy and they're absolutely good and nice people. Breakfast was very satisfactory (cookies, brioches, yogurt, tea, milk, jam etc etc) The B&B in in front of the harbor at walking distance from the railway station. I'll definitely be back!!

The hotel was located just across the Piazza Acquaverde from the Genova Piazza Principe station, on the rather less salubrious margins of the Old Town, particularly at dark. Access to the Piazza Ferrari and other attractions in the historical centre was along the magnificent Via Balbi, some 15 minutes’ walk from Via Garibaldi. The hotel was elegantly furnished inside, with oak panelling and period furniture everywhere, especially the splendid lounge and bar where it was perfect to relax and unwind. The restaurant/dinner room was on the ground floor to the right of the reception. The check-in was very pro-active. There was a terrace on the top, 7th floor, with a couple of Jacuzzi tubs and a rooftop bar with a magnificent views over the city. There was a spa, pool, sauna, steam room and heated seating in the basement. However it could do with a bit of supervision or even rationing as our quiet stay was interrupted by a very loud bunch of teenagers snapping photos and jumping around in the shallow pool. Our bedroom, an Executive Room on the 4th floor, offered great views from two balconies over the piazza. It was tastefully decorated with plenty of seating and a well-polished parquet floor. The sliding shutters could be operated by the buttons beside the windows they kept both the light and outside noise well at bay. Wardrobe space was rather limited. Included was quite an original safety box in the form of a drawer. There were tea and coffee facilities, also a minibar with an assortment of snacks. The good-sized bathroom had a huge bath and an easy-to-operate showers. Both bathrobes and slippers were provided. Breakfast offered a very good selection, including fruit with additional hot beverages ordered via the waitress. Very civilised opening hours, last orders at 11 am. Dinner was typically Italian, that is mono-flavoured and rather bland. It would be good if hotels of this class offered more international and refined cuisine rather than just copying the offerings
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Breakfast was very good, it has a good selección of fruits, bread, cold meats, juic
Cons: We arrived and there was no one in the reception no one to help with luggage
Good 7.7
Pros: Good bathroom, comfortable bed, courteous & helpful staff.Breakfast was a good experience and the food and service at the trattoria is excellent.Pity the water shortage meant the spa was shut.
Cons: The first room:TV and bedside lamp did not work. The second room layout had not been well thought out to enable easy use of the available facilities.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved the location, our room was large, comfortable, clean. The staff were wonderful and breakfast excellent.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had a wonderful stay - our view was of a beautiful courtyard with all of Florence beyond, the staff were super helpful, breakfast was ample (and available till noon!), and the breakfast staff fantastic. Would very much recommend this hotel :)

Pros: I liked the friendly environment. Easy to find. Secure area.
Cons: The hotel is 4 stars but doesn't meet the standards. In my opinion 3 stars would be more appropriate.
Good 7.1
Pros: The hotel was modern and clean. Our flight arrived late, so it was a good solution until the rental car office opened the following day. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was quite nice (with a rain drop shower). Breakfast was decent.
Cons: The decor in the lobby is a little insipid and the hotel is located in an industrial zone. It is only 5 minutes from the airport.

Good 6.0
Pros: I enjoyed my stay but wished I had a room on the higher floors. my room was on the first floor next to the breakfast hall
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything this was second time here
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice view and breakfast. Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Good service and friendly staff. Location is good, walkable distance until the historic center and metro station nearby. Easy parking.
Cons: Everything was fine.
Good 7.0
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room and a fair price
Cons: Breakfast was not really good.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was luxurious for a great price.
Excellent 10.0
Second time Im here. I like it! Coffee in the room is okay for me. Had no breakfast. But next gime Agoda should ask for a room without a wheelchair bathroom … uff … Im very sporty! Did realize only when I came into the room.
Excellent 10.0
We were very happy with our stay. Super quiet room with a lot of space. The parking is hard to find but worth every cent. Super friendly staff, we were delighted to stay here.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Location is convienient for car access and for ferry boarding. We had a smooth check-in coz of the professional and pleasant front desk staff. Our room was spotless, as well as the bathroom, and we had a view over the harbor. The parking space was convenient. Cons: The staff in the in-house restaurant staff were borderline rude and unwelcoming and actuall prefer if you don't dine with them. If you plan to stay here I suggest avoiding the in-house restaurant and look for other dining options instead. It is also a bit far from the Aquarium and the port so it's more convenient if you travel by car.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: A special place and characterizes Genoa, on the slopes of the mountain, a lovely corner and nice hosts, a clean and tidy place, the ability to climb stairs with luggage is taken into account, highly recommended
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The place itself was as promised: old buidling, Italian vibe. Finding the place was kind-of adventure. If you are lucky enough to find parking, you have to figure out that the street is actually the stairs and you have to climb a little to reach the place. Make sense to call them, if get closer. The family was in very good mood and we had a good laugh. They can also help to arrange some food...as no restaurants in short distance. Driving to the centre takes some 20 minutes. Only minus: no AC in my room and it was freaking hot this night.
Cons: It was as I expected...but yes: AC could have been a great extra value
Good 6.7
Pros: Very difficult to find !!
Cons: Unfortunately it took us ages to find this B&B. We arrived at 15h in front of a closed house. Rang the bell several times and try to contact the owner by phone. No answer. As we needed a sleep for the night we searched another hotel. Later i noticed somebody left a message on my phone...also noticed too late that check in was foreseen at 17H...our mistake. However the house looked deserted.. the garden not maintained...we had the imptession the house was abandoned. Somehow we hope the owner find it in his heart to refund us....

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Excellent value for the price

Okay 5.0
Pros: Close to beach
Cons: It should be mentioned that your room is located in dungeons.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Little selection but typical from area
Poor 1.0
Cons: If you want expirience service for 40€ and pay 115€ for it Ia right hotel. All small detail show poor quality All hotel full of workers from port 7 am no any food in breakfast and staff not refill it Dirty towels very bed shower Most disappointing experience for last years of travel
Good 6.3
Pros: The sound of the waves crashing all night long was soothing.
Cons: Good thing the waves were soothing, because the bed felt like it was simply a sheet of plywood with a sheet of bedding stretched over the top of it. Honestly, it felt like sleeping on the tile floor. If the bed would have been better, the hotel would be OK to go back to you. With that bed, will sleep in the car before we stay there again.

Mediocre 3.0
Cons: smelly room, need a full refurbishing. Old bathroom. No shower gel. Generally poor condition. Check in process too long - over 20 minutes waiting - only 2 persons in front of me, generally not well organized.
Poor 1.0
Pros: every room had some defect on the other amd the workers didnt even bother to help us out in some way!
Good 7.0
Pros: Rooms
Cons: bathroom could be a little cleaner
Okay 5.0
Cons: Parking problems- no space in the garage and staff very slow to find a solution for simply issues. The hotel is very old. Needs a reform.
Okay 5.0
Pros: This hotel is in a very convenient location being located right outside the airport entrance. Considering that taxi fares from the centre of Genova to the airport are outrageously high, one night room ends up costing less/same than a taxi fare to the airport. In addition, the airport bus service to the centre of town has been suspended. The only shuttle bus available is to and from the Sestri Ponente railway station which is only a 5 minutes bus ride from the airport. Sestri is actually reachable also by foot (15 minutes walk) following the road at the back of the hotel although this road is not really suitable for pedestrians. Anyway, a train ride from Brignole station to Sestri Pinente only cost the price of a bus ticket (€1.60) and the airport shuttle to and from the station accepts the same bus ticket which has a 100 minutes validity which is more than enough for this journey.
Cons: I have found Genova extremely dirty and unorganised. I spent a weekend in Cinqueterre and the amount of rubbish I have seen dumped in every sigle corner of those beautiful villages has truly broken my heart. I will never understand how people can neglect such an an outstanding gift of nature.I was really gutted although all the reviews I have see do not mention any of this. People must be turning a blind eye or even worse people must not care just like who is in charge of this wonderful land. What a shame.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The bath tub wasn't really clean. We checked in late before our flight. While the ladies (+ kid) were taking a shower) I tried to order food at the restaurant. The responsible there met me with demands that I shall take the girls out of the shower, or they will not eat. That happens at 21.45 in the evening - perfectly normal time to order restaurant dinner. I had to shut the person off by explaining to him that I am a customer and that his demands are ludacris. Eventually we got dinner - the beef was too raw, the spoons had rust on them. We had to ask for plastic spoons, where the one they brought to us had no packaging and some spoons had stains on them. I feel the restaurant manager did that on purpose. Terrible experience for me and the 6 years old kid with me, especially since it came for the price of 150 euros a night. I will never go to this terrible hotel again. If I was a manager, the restaurant responsible on 09.09.2021 would be fired instantly.
Good 7.0
Pros: Quiet Big room 1min from airport The woman of check out in morning very gentel
Cons: My biggest problem : the mokitos inside the restaurant!!!! Diner was horrible with all the bit of moustique. So I didn’t take breakfast for don’t live again that. About restaurant , food is correct but not handsome . Small portion of octopus salad for 15€ Burger ok
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very convenient access to airport. Especially for an early flight, you can just walk to airport.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Excellent access to airport for early morning flight. Check in and check out help were very friendly. We were just staying in Genoa for a night for our flight, but the shuttle they have that runs to the main area of Genoa was very handy. The shuttle driver was extremely friendly, pointed out interesting sights along the 25 minute drive, and gave us tips to make the most of the few hours we had to spend down there. The price is also good, felt like good value for the services.
Cons: The hotel is a bit rundown -- some wallpaper in the halls and our room could use some updating.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: closed to city centre, shopping, swimming in the hotel, quick service
Cons: everything perfect
Good 7.0
Pros: Rather cheap underground parking - 8 EUR per day. Convenient location if you arrive by car, as it's right next to the highway. Spacious rooms. Metro station 10 min walk away, several buses stop nearby. Gas station right next to the hotel.
Cons: The quality of dinner at the restaurant - probably the most plain food I've eaten in Italy ever, especially for the price. The location if you want to go by foot - far from centre, old town. So not many places to have dinner or lunch nearby as well. Weird usage of staircases, evacuation doors, didn't quite understand which doors we can or can not use. Bathroom - outdated, can't use the bath, as there is no plug. TV didn't work, air conditioner took good 5 min. to start working at all after turning on. Room not as equipped as written.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Veeery friendly staff, delightful breakfast, super nice waiters.
Cons: I saw no drawbacks. I liked everything.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Yeah I don’t think this should be a 4 star rated hotel. You need the check in to see the reality. Our room was the worst I have ever stayed. Windows open to the glass cover so literally no ventilation. Tv was there to see when it is switched off cuz you can’t switch it on. Bathroom needed a refurbishment as soon as possible. Best thing was that I stayed there just from a night!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It is one of the best options in Genova - a decent 4* hotel with parking at 8 euros/day ; very few and ugly accomodations available in the city at enormous prices
Cons: It has a bit updated design
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very comfortable bed Friendly and polite receptionist Pet friendly hotel
Cons: Nothing
