Good location and comfortable beds
Limited power points to charge phones Staff weren’t all that approachable (with the exception of a few) Have to put for luggage storage No lockers secure lockers provided in room
Good location. I had a private room which had all the basics and was good value for Dublin. The breakfast is decent for a hostel, and they even have a light option for people having breakfast before 7.30, which I appreciated. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hostel is basically perfectly located where trains and buses are concerned. (Walking distance from main bus station/Connolly station, tram links to the other main train terminus) Also liked the free tea!
The kitchen leaves a lot to be desired if I'm being honest. It has all the facilities but for both nights of my stay it was very dirty, and it was hard to get cups for instance. On a separate note, they have coin-operated hairdryers, which is just crazy on its own - but especially considering that no one uses cash anymore, I was unable to use the hairdryer despite it being outside my room.
Staff not friendly, the noise of the woods in the room, very hot room
It was easy to locate, the staff was very friendly and the rooms were neat as expected
I didn’t like the fact a particular roommate kept the room untidy.
i was very disapointed as it was one of the most expensive hostel i got and probably the worst... i got a very stinky room, the privacy and security of the establishement was definetly not on point as my room mates were getting random people in the room and were even having sex right under my bed.... I know the hostel is not responsible for their clients behaviour but letting non-client people in so easely presents a lack of organisation from their part as well... the location is not perfect but as i like walking it did not bother me so much... Although, breakfast was ok and people at the reception were lovely...
